My wife and I just spent two nights at "Our House" and we had an overall good experience. We have stayed at about 10 B&B's to date and we would rate this one in the upper five.
The innkeeper Dave is very attentive and interactional with his guests. The house is easy to find and within a 10 min walk to the historical highlights of St. Augustine. We just parked on the street and didn't move until we left 2 days later. Very convenient. Although we were a little concerned about walking back at night through what appeared to potentially be a "rough neighborhood", everything was just fine.
Our room had a very comfortable bed and a darling little 2nd floor veranda. The claw-foot tub in the room seemed like a nice amenity but didn't get any use from us. The TV was small but adequate. Dave also provides his guests with bottled water, a small boombox and a small cube fridge.
The nicest part about staying at Our House was the coffee service doorside at about 7:00am. While enjoying some coffee and tea in the privacy of your room Dave is busy making breakfast for 9am. You'll know breakfast time is close when you hear an amazing piano concerto reverberating throughout the home (that's the "dinner bell", so to speak). Breakfast was very good. Our only comment to Dave would be beef up the fruit course and to use less syrup on the pancakes.
Price was fine. No major concerns. We have not stayed at other local B&B's so we cannot comment on Our House as compared to others. There are, however, MANY other B&B's in the area. So many, in fact, that the choice could become daunting. Overall we were happy with our choice and we would recommend Our House.

We spent a weekend here a while back, and it was a great time. My wife is still bugging me to go back!
This house is within walking distance of downtown St. Augustine, so the location is great. Dave cooks a wonderful breakfast each morning. He looks and acts like he really cares.
For around $150 per night, I would much rather stay here than in a boring old hotel. You really feel do at home at Our House.

I just got back from spending my birthday weekend in St. Augustine. After doing a lot of research on places to stay, we decided that this was the place to stay based on the great reviews at Trip Advisor.
When we arrived, Dave showed us around the house and told us where we could find things like extra bottled water and where the microwave was if we needed it and then took our bags up to our room.
The room was really big with huge windows all the way around and was very bright. There was a porch we had access to to sit on, but it was so hot and humid, we never used it. If it would have been a little less hot, we would have sat out there. I thought it was a nice touch.
The room was clean, the water pressure was great and there were bottled waters there with glasses and there were magazines about the area and also lots of coupons to local establishments which was nice. Dave went through one of the magazines that featured restaurants and basically went down the list and told us places to avoid (which was REALLY helpful) and also some of his favorites around town. I would highly recommend going to the places he suggests because they were all really great!
Every morning at 8, coffee was brought to our room. Breakfast was served at 9 and each morning, there was a selection of fresh fruit, a baked egg dish and also a fantastic pancake. One morning, the egg was egg with polenta, italian spices and asiago cheese and the pancake was sweet potato. The next day, the egg was more of a french style egg dish with a banana nut pancake. It was really great.
Dave does some great things for special occasions. The morning of my birthday, a fresh flower arrangement was left with the morning coffee service and that night, upon our arrival back after dinner, there was champagne on ice and a box of gourmet chocolates.
Location wise, it's in a really great area. It's close enough to walk to the downtown area but far enough away to be quiet. There is also ample parking in back of the house which apparently is important. Most of St. Augustine seems to suffer from a severe lack of parking so it was nice to not have to worry.
Overall, it was great and I would definitely recommend it to people.
