Worst experience ever they don't even deserve one star. Not only did dinner not start at 8 o'clock but after we were inside finally they had to make an announcement for everyone to go back inline to get banded and sign in for dinner (but they were supposed to be open earlier than 8 o'clock so that you could come and enjoy predinner drinks while you waited for everybody else to show up and for dinner to start. We arrived at between 7 and 7:30 PM and had to go to another bar across the street to sit and have cocktails to wait for them to even open their doors at 8 o'clock because that they were still setting up and not even ready for the event) if you even got seated and if you even got dinner(before midnight) it was either raw, cold or just sat out so long it was inedible we had to leave to go get dinner somewhere else because we couldn't even eat dinner there. Then they had us crammed in this tiny room for dinner that it seamed like you were packed sardines and that every time any server or anybody who had walked by us you will get slammed into the table. Not to mention the four shots of Patron that were ordered and we got served water ( which the "shots" were poured in front of us out if a Patron bottle which was filled with water) by someone who didn't even work there because they got tired of waiting for drinks. They even charged us for the shots and argued with us to give us our money back when we brought the shot glasses with water back to them. Also it was supposed to be from 8 PM till 2 AM ( celebration party was supposed to start at 10:30PM and people were still trying to get served dinner still) and the band stopped playing at midnight. Not to mention the pile of dirty dishes just laying on the counter in plain view and literally right next to where you sat to eat and food like shrimp cocktail the I saw sit on the same serving counter as the pile of dirty dishes for over an hour before they actually served it to people. Which it's a shame I couldn't add pictures of that to this review.

The 1930 Grande Room was our first stop in our search for a wedding reception venue. We visited more than 15 other venues. There were several nice venues in the Tampa area, but none of them beat the warmness we felt from both Anthony and Jennifer Sanschagrin at the 1930 Grande Room. Our wedding would bring hundreds of guests into Tampa from all over the world and we needed to build a relationship with our vendors to ensure the event was welcoming to all of our guests. We knew we could do this with Anthony and Jennifer. Not only did they have a beautiful space, but their interest in what we envisioned was genuine.
We really wanted our event to be a unique fusion of cultures, Indian and Irish. This was a challenge in our minds, but the team at both Stonechef and 1930 Grande Room were up for it. The decor of the venue was perfect. Jennifer and her team provided support throughout the entire process of choosing centerpieces and layout. They worked seamlessly with all of our vendors ensuring access to the space before and during the event. Their consistent communication kept us feeling secure that our big day would be perfect.
Fusing the cultures was no small feat, but Stonechef delivered! He prepared cuisine that met all of our needs. The authenticity of the Indian food and the fusion of flavors that met the needs of our diverse guest list was a huge success! They delivered a unique, fun and very special celebration that we will never forget.
We have gotten the most amazing remarks about the event from people who own restaurants, own event facilities and from guest whose opinions are important to us."It is clear that there was plenty of love put into the creation of the menu," "This was the most fun we have ever had at a wedding," "The food was unique and fun to try." "The presentation was flawless."
We are beyond impressed with this power couple and highly recommend both the 1930 Grande Room and Stonechef for any event.
