Brand new !! Recently renovated. Stunning fun pool. Rooms are classy and clean. The staff from the housekeepers to the bar staff are incredibly friendly. Free morning breakfast is as good as it gets. Come hang out here or stay here you won't be disappointed

My mom stayed here while we fixed some issues in the house, and I came to pick her up. At first I thought it was just a cheap hotel, $80 a night. I come in and the room is much nicer than I could have even imagined. Huge bed, nice tv, working ac, BEAUTIFUL pool. Obviously recently renovated and still some work to do, but I mean, still a GREAT deal for $80.

LIPSTICK ON A PIG
This hotel, formerly a Best Western independent, recently underwent a five million dollar renovation according to the staff, and rebranded as the Clarion Inn.
The shell of the hotel largely looks like it's 1960s self. That is just to say like a 2 story motel with rooms along the parking lot and rooms on the inside around the swimming pool. Kind of like a large rectangle.
That being said, the goal of the renovation was to make it look like modern chic Art Deco.
So, visually on the exterior and in the lobby, this hotel is no great shakes. Sidewalks around the hotel have been upgraded to stone tiles. These are extended to the decking throughout the pool and the rest of the hotel. Grey slate tiles or glittery wallpaper adorn the walls through the public areas. A Tiki hut bar area has been added to the pool
Where the renovation really excels, in my opinion was the nice decor of the room which included a refrigerator, microwave, and flat screen TV. I felt the 32 inch TV could have been bigger, but it did do OK for the 1 night.
Be sure to ask for a room around the pool, or if you need a disabled room be sure to ask for one on the west side of the hotel. The east side of the hotel is very noisy with a commercial street next to that side.
Breakfast was actually very very good. There was a chef making omelets or scrambled eggs, & a great variety for a free breakfast- it was outstanding.
loved the room, and if pressed for someplace, I would stay here again. it would not be my first choice, solely because of the noise.

We stayed for a week in January. Definitely a 3-star experience. The hotel itself is pretty, done with a glitzy nightclub look. The rooms are small and would have been fine for just my husband and I but was cramped with our 1-year old son. The internet didn't work at all the first 2 days we were there. We were told at check-in that there was a cooked-to-order breakfast and there definitely was not. We were in and out of our room each day for naps and they never seemed to clean it when we were gone for 2-3 hours so I kept having to ask for towels and live with a dirty room. The worst part was being poolside, it was very loud at night. One night we were kept awake until 3am by people being rowdy right outside our door going to and from their room. I probably would not stay here again with my family, maybe if the room was not poolside but even then it would be with great reservation.

I only stayed here I night. This is my observation of the place and surrounding area.
First the good: The check in person, Mayumi, did a great job. She was multi-tasked even with a stupid customer who refused to listen to what she had to say on the phone. Mayumi was professional & courteous though out the conversation while even helping me.
I found my room , which was on west side, quiet. Though in summer time it would be very hot.
A good size cold refrigerator, small microwave,coffee/tea, clean remote , TV with 50 or so channels. Plus a wifi connection. A/C was very efficient.
At the inn 2 computers for use, gym, pool w/bar & waterfall.
There is a Beef o Brady restaurant on site where a continental breakfast is served.
This place is located near a car dealership. It is a quiet area. If you head toward downtown you will have the pleasure of 3 gentleman clubs.
When heading east there is a small mall with gas station,PO, market,Hooters, various fast food & such.
NOW the bad. Check in time is 3PM. I check in at 10 AM and was charge a half day. This was not made clear to me when I booked on line. Plus check out is 12PM...Which means I really had 21 hours of use of the room. ( I was only there for 1 nite).......
They are very environmentally efficient. Which lead to the BIGGEST PROBLEM.
The Toilet was low flow. I had a issue with it NOT flushing all my previous meals. I was able to cope with the situation & informed the desk of the problem on check out.
Over all this is a EXCELLENT place to stay considering my 1 nite experience.

First impression driving up....meh....But once in the lobby, I was pleasantly surprised. We were able to check in early. Our room was clean. The pool was nice and had an outside bar with food service from the attached restaurant. I would have never guessed that there'd be such a nice pool at this location. My friend was throwing her son's 16th birthday party at the hotel with a day by the pool followed by a dance party in a private banquet room. The hotel staff was very nice and seemed to be very helpful with setting up the party room for the dance party later that evening. The Beef o' Brady's attached to the hotel is awesome. Great food, great service , super friendly staff. The restaurant is large with ample space and TV's and a ample outside patio.

The staff here is very nice, and the place has been so completely refurbished that it's hard to find a surface that hasn't been covered with some new material or coating.
It's the old style of motel, with window shaker AC units and exterior hallways, but I have to say the AC units here are the quietest I've encountered.
That's in contrast to the incredibly noisy pool area, which features deafening music all day. Fortunately, they have very good taste in music. But if you want a quiet room then you should (counterintuitively) ask for one facing the parking lots, not the enclosed courtyard.
On the other hand, the east side of the building faces a noisy commercial street. So that leaves the west side of the building, which is basically an alley next to a flooring store. So there you have it.
I will say the room interiors have been redone fairly well, not to the level of a Hilton Garden in or other modern hotel (I mean, come on, this used to be a Best Western) but there is a microwave and nice sized refrigerator, and in-room coffee.

Great great hotel. We got right in and got a room. We had a different hotel that didn't work out because of cockroaches. This hotel is awesome. And bug free. The food is great. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice. Pool is gorgeous and fun.
