Perfectly fine, clean, good mattress, good value. Not the most interesting neighborhood, but easy to drive around. So-so breakfast buffet.

had a comfortable stay. hotel was nice and clean. few defects like some rust and marks on furniture but was not to bad. continental breakfast was average. only hot eggs and sausages, everything else cold. but would recommend for what i stayed for around $60.

If every room in town wasn't taken I'd of left! Lobby was hazy from all the smoking (Esigs). Got to my room to find trash on the table and desk, it smelled musty and the bathroom was in a disarray I had to make sure with the desk that no one else was staying in the room already! For 139-159 a night I would expect something far cleaner and nicer!!! Working wireless Internet would be great as well!!!

The hotel is very well lit and safe (more so than other hotels in the immediate area).  We paid 69.99/night for a spacious/clean room and took full advantage of the complimentary breakfast- which was very good.  What moved me to write this review was the exceptional staff.  The front desk was warm, friendly, and accommodating.  There was a mix up with my bill and it was taken care of immediately and professionally.  I needed an extra pillow and blanket one night and it was no problem.  Their kindness was genuine.  I realized on my way home that I accidentally left something behind in the room.  I made a quick phone call to the front desk and was greeted by a familiar, friendly voice.  I was assured that the item (an autographed picture) would be sent to my home address and that it was no trouble at all.  Sure enough, I received it in the mail this afternoon with a personalized note attached referencing a conversation we had during my stay.  I strongly recommend staying here based on its affordability, cleanliness, safety, and most especially it's stellar staff.

Firstly, I want to say that in my 28 years in the airline business having traveled the world and staying in dives to resorts, I have never found more genuine and caring staff- EVER!

I was in Tampa following a kidney transplant, and upon release from the hospital, I needed to stay in Tampa for 3-4 weeks.

I booked this hotel through Hotwire although they also participate in Priceline.

Upon arrival, I met the GM, Shital, who was manning the front desk.  We had a lovely discussion about the unfortunate name "Comfort Suites Near Raymond James Stadium" which engendered the dumps along Dale Mabry Highway adjacent to the stadium. I would call this an Airport North hotel since they have a shuttle and are just north of the main runway.

This is a strong 2.5* hotel.  The room was oversized and contained a mini-fridge and microwave.  This is not a huge property laterally, but is a tall one.  A large desk with a pull out couch completed my room.

I had some special needs and all were handled with compassion and speed.  Shital should thank her lucky stars for an employee like Victor who spends his time running around the hotel and climbing the stairs like a jaguar going up a tree.

When I went to tip Victor for exceptional service, he refused saying he was just doing his job.  I asked him if the customer is always right, and he said yes.  So I said, this is for you, and because I am the customer, you should accept this.  I never had to convince a hotel employee to accept a tip before!

There really is very little within walking distance.  A 7-11 is about 3 blocks away otherwise you'll need your car.

If you can snag this property, you will be happy.

This motel was a dump.  For a place that says they have a focus on business guests, the wifi should not have gone down 3 times during our 3 day stay.  The desk chair in the room was broken and I would bet prison food is better than what they serve for the breakfast.

As far as airport hotels go, this Comfort Suites is rocking it. Chris was working the front desk when we checked in, and he was great. Applied our AAA discount to the online reservation I had made and checked us in professionally and efficiently, all the while fielding calls from guests upstairs and the outside line.

Beds were comfy, free wifi to be had, room was very clean, the shower pressure was power-washingly strong, and outside noises were relatively muted. My sister mentioned that she heard a few planes, but I didn't hear anything, including the huge thunderstorm that apparently went down while we were sleeping. Ample space for parking outside, and it's free! (Staying on the beach is nice, but paying to park our rental car got old quickly.)

Breakfast in the morning is pretty standard for complimentary hotel eats: yogurt, some fresh fruit, bagels & english muffins, three kinds of cereal, eggs, I think sausage? They did have a waffle maker with pre-made batter, which was pretty nice.

Definitely a good option if you're catching a flight out it in the morning!

Close to the airport. Use the comfort suites website and receive an additional discount if you are a rewards member.
The staff were amazing! Probably the friendliest staff I've encountered at a hotel.
We arrived and requested early check in. They were accommodating and even had cookies for us as rewards members.
Our room was spotless and the bed was amazingly comfortable.
They offer receptions throughout the week. We checked out early and missed but noticed the signs up announcing the afternoon reception.
The safe worked and was digital so the code is set by the guest. Fridge and microwave were extremely handy. The breakfast was clean, hot, and had a variety of items. Everyone loved the waffles.

This is a 5 star based on the price point and rating of comparable hotels. The service and housekeeping excelled what I have received and much pricier hotels.

This is a nice hotel that's close to Raymond James Stadium. The front desk staff is really nice and knowledgeable about the area. We somehow ended up with a wheelchair accessible room, so it was really spacious. The door was hard to pull open from the inside, even for me, and I'm fairly strong. I don't know how someone in a wheelchair would get out of the room. Maybe that's why we got it. The room smelled strongly of cleaner, but that's better than not being cleaned at all. I'd stay here again.

Pick this hotel as near my meeting.  Stayed 3 nights.  I loved the rooms and the service.  It appears to be brand new - at least it felt like it.  Didnt use the breakfast bar.  The first morning at 601am I found myself waking up to an airplane taking over over the hotel.  Yikes!  So if you are an early riser this wont be a problem, but if not you might want to search for another option.  I went and bought ear plugs and I was fine the other nights.  I had to call the front desk to ask how to turn the shower on.  They couldnt had made that more painful (pull the ring under where the water flows out into the tub).  I would come again even with the planes!
