Only reason I didn't give it five stars is it's not (by nature) a "luxury/resort" hotel.  The fifth star does not apply...I gave it 4 out of a possible 4.  Clean, new, convenient location, friendly staff, free cont bkfst with hot items.  The manager (Paul) is AWESOME.  I contacted him at the last minute for a room on Christmas night.  He gave me the perfect room (for a Dad and two daughters), at a discounted rate no less!  As a divorced Dad who lives in Miami, with kids (and an ex) in Tampa, this has become my go-to property for Tampa.

New, clean, and cheap hotel which was perfect for a one night stay before an early morning flight. The next morning I hopped on the expressway (don't forget 75 cents for the toll) and I was at the rental car return in just a few minutes. Unfortunately, my flight was too early to check out the complimentary breakfast. The fitness center and pool looked OK, but I didn't have a chance to try them. Free Wi-Fi too!

A pleasant place to stay with competitive rates and professional staff. The amenities are great and a convenient location make this an enjoyable place to stay.  Continental breakfast included.

The amenities of Country Inn and Suites are great for the price. But the poor housekeeping and customer service make this location intolerable for anything more than a one night stay. On day two of my seven night stay my daughter ate some crackers in the bed. When I got in the bed that night there were still crumbs in the bed. Obviously the sheets weren't changed. The next morning I removed all the sheets to make it clear they needed to be changed. To remove the sheets from the bed I had to remove all of my things. When I returned to the room, there was a stack of sheets on the bed and a note telling me that she could not make the bed because housekeeping is not allowed to touch guest belongings. I then noticed that there was one folded outfit on the bed, that I moved after taking the sheets off. She had moved things off the bed previous days. In fact the first day my open suitcase was left on the bed. There were still dirty towels on the floor and no clean towels left. Also, when I arrived at the room  there was a bus tub of dirty dishes in the hall that had been there for 24 hours! I had to park at the gas station across the street when I got to the hotel after 10:00 pm. Overall, not impressed.

Pros: nice looking room that was recently renovated

Cons: Plenty to list

I purchased a park n fly package for $117 online. When I checked in, they tried to charge an extra $5 per night.

During my discussion about this, a rude guest started conversing with someone else at the front desk overlapping my conversation and making it impossible to listen. I finally had to speak up to ask that the conversation be taken to the side.

Later, my wife wanted to shower. Only had cold water. Called front desk at about 7:30 to let them know if the issue. They did not answer the phone in over two minutes. Completely unacceptable.

When I woke up for my early flight, I wanted to shower. Again, no hot water.

I give up.

Will never be back.

Really enjoyed our stay, except that for both nights we had issues with the hot water and the front desk guy, R**n's response to our situation the second night was "okay." When I expressed my displeasure at the lack of consideration or hospitality, he did say... "sorry." Great, thanks buddy. I'M sorry that I assumed hot water was an amenity when I pay over $100 for a room.

Plus side there's a scalding hot tub by the pool, wifi, and a Wawa gas station across the street. Also it's the first hotel with carpet that wasn't hideous.

Well not sure what rating I will give but it will not be more than a 2.888999. This is the third country inn I have stayed in 3 states. The bed was comfy as they always are. They get 2 sausages for that. Room was fine everything worked. Stayed here 1 night with my 12 year old daughter to see One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer concert.  Now its morning and I can hear again.
Love the noon checkout.  I assume this location is owned or operated by a Indian. Reason saying that is lack of staff (1 member working a department) and half ass repairs on things. Well after checking out the place I was right. They offered a decent breakfast. Fresh cut fruits, cereal,  hot oats, apples oranges and bananas, waffles some kind of eggs and mystery sausage patties.  Didn't eat those.  I went right to the waffles.  Make yourself. First thing I do is ask associate for the butter spray so it won't stick.  She says I was told it doesn't need it and Mr. Patel will not provide it for them.  I say okay but if my waffle sticks I will leave it there and turn on machine again and let it burn. Well that's what happened.  No breakfast will end up going to Yummy House. GO EAT THERE. They have 2 in Tampa and 1 in Gainesville.
Back on track.  Bathroom was clean but shower was just okay. There was a previous water leak in bathroom which caused some damage to the wall. The wall was patched by an amateur and never painted to match the bathroom.  Well I don't think a guest wants to see things this way. Makes people wonder what else is done half ass. No light diffuser on bathroom light, bright light bulbs.
If I rated this for price, room and sleep its a 4 rating.  But im not. Indian business owners do minimal for maintaining there business appearance.  I know this from experience.

This hotel should be closed. It was unsanitary and did not have adequate staff. The water faucet in the bathroom shower is manipulated so that it does not heat the water beyond lukewarm temp. There is evidence of penny pinching through out the hotel and being close to the airport you can hear all the landings and takeoffs.

Very clean property. My room was perfect. Comfortable bed, clean sheets, clean bathroom, and plenty of space. The front desk staff was very kind and friendly.

The breakfast was ok. They offered scrambled eggs, sausage, french toast, cereal, and a few other items but the breakfast area gets overcrowded quickly.

Country Inns all have noon checkouts, microwave and fridge in every room, and free cookies at the front desk :)

Free wifi that works well. Quiet and updated hotel. I will be back next time I'm in Tampa.
