Blaring tejano music from workers with power tools laying around, cigarette smells, HORRIBLE beds. Oh and those pesky prostitutes hanging around. Not a bad place to stay. Rather a freaking horrible place to even walk into.

TERRIBLE. Absolutely Terrible.
First, the location is not convenient to anything in Tampa (other than USF), so if you have to commute to downtown or to Westshore, the traffic makes the trip unreasonably long.
Second, the motel is not, in any way, nice. The rooms are VERY small for "suites" -- they would be better described as simply "average-sized motel rooms with a refrigerator and stove on one wall." Additionally, the rooms are not clean (my room had multiple stains on the carpet and furniture). Further, the rooms get very few television channels and you actually have to pay for reliable wi-fi service.
Third, the walls are remarkably thin. You can hear every conversation, every television show, and everything else that happens in the neighboring rooms and in the halls. It is incredibly irritating and it can make for a terrible night's sleep.
Fourth, the motel staff is quite rude. During my stay, the building was undergoing heavy construction (they seemed to be replacing sections of the hallway wall). However, when I asked about the construction at the front desk, the clerk actually lied and told me that no construction was being done. Additionally the manager forced me to leave my room multiple times so that they could do various work projects inside of the room (that was terribly inconvenient as I was using the room as a quasi-office during my trip).
Finally, if you choose to ignore the above and stay at the Extended Stay America, double-check your credit card statement - they substantially overcharged my credit card.
In sum, the Extended Stay America on Morris Bridge Rd is, very possibly, the worst option among hotels in the Tampa Bay area. Just avoid it - ANY other hotel would have to be better.

Friendly staff. Will look after all of your needs. Clean rooms good price and close to major roads around Tampa. My wife and I have been here for a week and have no complaints. Pet friendly which is a plus for us anyway. Plenty of restaurants close by. Will stay here again. Free wi-fi which is a real plus doing business.

My husband and I were moving to Tampa and needed a place to stay for a few nights. We made reservations because the rates were the cheapest - well all I can say is you get what you pay for. We waited OVER 2 hours for a room to be cleaned needless to say I went to the Marriott and got a room within a minute and it was ready. While my husband was waiting he asked to use a bathroom and was told they only have bathrooms in the rooms so he had to walk down the street and use a bathroom in a restaurant. So glad we didn't stay especially after reading the reviews - I have a lung problem and don't need second hand smoke.

Have stayed there for 4-5 times. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Next to I-75 that connects you to either downtown Tampa or Orlando. Have breakfast but never try it. 10 min ride to Busch Gardens, USF and University Mall.

We were told one rate over the phone, but when we arrived it ended up costing $40 more. Not a great way to start off the night. Bed was hard as a rock. Towels extremely hard and scratchy. The AC worked well. Full size refrigerator in room was convenient, but no ice maker. No ice machine anywhere in the building either. The door on the end of the building would not open from the outside. It would have been helpful to know that before parking down there and unloading all our luggage. When I told the girl at the front desk, she assumed it was my key card. I told her the door was broken, but she didn't listen or do anything about it. I would go out of my way to never stay here again. The "breakfast included" was apples, oranges, and coffee.

We stayed there for 2 nights. The day we arrived the hotel had been struck by a lightining so the elevator and side doors were not working.
The staff is really good, always trying to help us.
The location is pretty good and the cleanliness of the room is okay. You'll have a fully functional kitchen.
Breakfast is basically non-existent, so be prepared to drive to Ihop or Dunkin.
