REALLY BAD MOLD ON THE CEILING OF THE BATHROOM  --   I don't play around with mold. It appears worse in person than it appears in the photos I took due to the flash washing it out. The shower curtain looked stained by old mildew and white splotches almost like it was used as a paint drop cloth I don't know that I want to know what it was.  Additionally, the shower curtain had the red spot which looked like blood. The plastic circle plate on the wall behind the entry door had been punched through by the door knob it appeared. The floor had spots already on it that didn't come off by rubbing a damp towel so it might be adhesive residue I'm not sure. I really don't want to know what it was. The beds appeared to be ok and you can tell some renovations were done however in my opinion this room was NOT ready to accommodate guests!! I will not ever stay there again and I cannot recommend anyone to either. ** I went to the front desk and politely mentioned these things. I showed him the pictures and he really had zero concerns just confirmed how many towels I needed. **

Went to Tampa recently and if I wouldnt have been here on business (and my employer was paying for it), I probably would not have stayed here. The hotel itself was decent but nothing special. It kinda irked me that I couldn't check in early. I was there two hours early and that has never been a problem....the guy didn't even check to see if the room was finished with its cleaning, he just refused to let me do it....so I had to go wander around Tampa for 2 hours with my suitcases. The parking here is free but they don't have a lot of it. Available spaces disappear pretty fast in the evenings.

Great room. Very clean with flat screen and new paint. Renovations appear to be going on outside but no noise has been heard. Staff has been great. Only complaint is the pool is about the size of a large hot tub. I would stay here again.

Really enjoyed this hotel! Staff was really helpful and made the whole stay great. Can't find another high quality hotel like this in South Tampa at this price.

I've stayed here a couple times now for work duty to having a rewards membership with them.  Overall nothing bad to say about the place.

They have vending machines and a pretty good free breakfast.  Just make sure you are there as soon as it opens.  I kept getting stuck in line behind vacationers who liked to "fill their purse up" before heading out for the day.  One woman had a tuperware in her purse ... the guy running the desk saw it and said "you must be hungry".  Didn't seem to care she just took at the scrambled eggs and muffins from others after her though.

The biggest con for the place is the traffic noise from the street.  It's very loud at times; I ended up sleeping with my TV on the Weather Channel just so it helped drown the noise out one Friday night.  Not much the hotel can do about that ... besides install better insulation and windows to block the sound ;)
