This Quality Inn location is great for a budget chain. My room was clean with updated bedding & bathroom. Free parking, wireless & breakfast. The breakfast options included plenty of protein (egg discs, hardboiled eggs, sausage, peanut butter).

The courtyard pool setup looked nice but no one was using it since it was the coldest week on record.

Two small complaints 1) my safe was locked open with a previous guests code which made me feel a little bit paranoid that maybe housekeeping had locked it open. 2) The location isn't perfect, there's nowhere to walk to, but it is a quick drive to Ybor City.

Under $50 a night with the AAA rate.

Spent the weekend here while visiting a relative in Tampa. Really decent place to stay if you're on a budget. My total bill was $143 for the weekend which included breakfast both mornings.
Front desk staff was polite and helpful. I needed a cab, the agent called one for me and provided me with a printed list of great places to eat in the area.  Conveniently located whether your driving (free parking) or taking public transportation. I'd definitely lodge here again if I were visiting Tampa in the future.

Excellent...made a last minute reservation for four rooms due to my,grandfather passing. :( my family and I drove from Va to Fl In 14 hours. It was nice to have pur rooms all, ready before, check in time. I spoke to a lady names Neema.. Sorry if I misspelled it... She was so helpful and pretty much hooked it up for my,family. It was memorial, day weekend which meant more expensive rooms but she understood why we where there and helped us up. I will go back here any day staff is so nice, pleasant, rooms clean and, breakfast pretty good. Wanted to thank all the staff at quality inn for making our trip a bit brighter. Losing a loved one is,so hard but when small things like reserving a hotel is easy it just makes things go better. See you soon... :)

Located on 19 at Klosterman.  Pizza shop next door.  Clean and comfortable.  Not walking distance to Tarpon Springs downtown or sponge docks.

The walls are paper thin (I know it's in FL but seriously, no insulation)!  The area is very bad.  The hotel itself is very noisy between the music being blasted from the pool area (goes through every room window), connecting doors, and loud housekeepers who insist on yelling at each other to communicate this was the worst hotel experience in recent memory.  The television doesn't even turn on and the refrigerator is barely plugged in and constantly slips off of where it stands so food doesn't stay cold.  Parking is a nightmare.  Pillows and bedding are hard and furniture is dated.  This hotel is not meant for sleeping, one of the noisiest places in Tampa, don't expect to get a good night's sleep, one of those places where you get what you pay for, such a disappointing stay!  (I had to move out of the hotel early and spend a day finding another place, the sound from every direction was unbearable here)!!

This is one of the best Choice Hotels in Tampa. It is safe, quiet, and clean, and customer service is amazing. The breakfast is the standard free hot breakfast--nothing to hate or love--just free food to get your day started. The hotel is not in the best or worst side of town. There are not many midrange restaurant choices--just Church's, Taco Bell, and Salem's; however, the hotel is located less than a 10-minute drive from Downtown Tampa/Ybor City. I have stayed a total of 2 nights. The first night, staff accommodated me with a early check-in. This hotel appears to cater to business travelers and cruisers due to their Park&Cruise deal. Do yourself a favor and stay here if you are looking for the Choice brand.

I had a very enjoyable stay from check-in to check-out. The breakfast was average, but it was enough to feed us. The room was clean, and there was no hair in the bed or the bathroom - which is always a plus. I was slightly concerned about the neighborhood surrounding the hotel, but my car was here and intact in the morning. I would stay here again if the situation warranted it.

Hard to find a good hotel close to the Hard Rock casino, but this one is the best you can do and at a very good price.  I like the free breakfast, but it was mostly bread items.   Book on Hotwire to save money.

We stayed here because they were close to the Tampa Port Authority that we were sailing out of the next day and they offered and "stay cruise and park" package rate for only $99. The rooms were decent, but not spectacular, and the elevators smelled funny (in a bad way, like the cleaner they used was made up of ammonia and marshmallows-weird combo I know, but that's what it smelled like)however the beds were really comfy and the next day when the cruise boat was held up by fog and unable to dock at port they allowed us to stay in our rooms for no additional cost until we got the go ahead to head to port (which was like 6 hours past or original depart time).
I would absolutely stay there again if I were cruising because its very cost efficient for the parking of your vehicle and the transportation alone, but I would choose somewhere else if I were going to Tampa for any other reason.

A really nice hotel! The service from check in to check out was excellent. Rooms are clean and high end. The beds were very comfortable.

Also, they have a shuttle that will take you to nearby attractions for $10 per room! If you're bar hopping in Ybor City like we did, it's totally worth it!

If you're looking to stay near Ybor City at a fraction of the price, this is the place to be at. AAA discount doesn't hurt either. :)

We arrived back from our cruise early and got an early check in (and upgraded to a King at no additional cost). The exterior of the building doesn't look like anything great, but the inside is clean, roomy, and met all our needs. There's a small fitness center, computer to use for internet, free wireless, an outdoor pool, and free breakfast in the morning.

The rooms itself are spacious and the bed was comfortable. My only complaints would be the lack of selection during breakfast and the slow plumbing (someone needs to drano the bathrooms!).

Cab fare is approximately $10 to go to the nightlife scene in Ybor city. I definitely recommend!

I'm only giving a 2 star on this based solely on the way the hotel staff treated us.  They were very rude and argumentative about things.   That said, lets talk about the rest of the expereince.   Staying here on last night in the area beacuse it was close to Ybor City.    Hotel was clean, however there was a funky wet smell in the hallways.  Room was big and clean.  Impressed with the rooms.
Took the shuttle to Ybor...and I was confused as to why the varying prices to locations.  Why not just one flat rate per room as most choice hotels do?  The shuttle driver-wow it was like being on a roller coaster.  WIld and crazy ride!  Made us laugh.    I'd stay here again if and only if I didn't have to interact with the front desk staff.

After searching dozens of hotels in the area, we picked Quality Inn based on all the great online reviews. This place did not disappoint! We arrived around 8pm the night before our cruise and the place was a bit tricky to find, it's located on a side road not visible from the major road, but if you follow your GPS, you should be able to find it easily.

There were 5 of us in the party, so we originally asked for a rollaway bed for a $10, and they offered us a special deal--for $30 we could upgrade to a suite, which is essentially a regular room, a sofa bed, 2 bathrooms, 2 closets, and a living room area. They allowed us to view the room first and we're glad we made the decision to upgrade--it was so roomy and comfortable for our group!

The one thing I really appreciated about this place was the extremely clean feel--upon walking in, the floors smell like they were just freshly cleaned and we didn't experience anything that was even remotely questionably dirty. The breakfast is very good for complimentary, they provide everything you could want for a light breakfast and an assortment of just the right condiments. There's a make-your-own waffle machine and even biscuits and gravy, which seemed to be the biggest hits.

Definitely recommend a stay here, especially before or after a Tampa cruise!

Very comfortable hotel. The pool area is beautiful and the bathrooms are sparkling clean. No complaints at all about this hotel. But the wi go doesn't work.

This palace was terrible. The only reason I chose it over a downtown hotel was that they had a "shuttle service." This is not accurate at all. The shuttle driver was off by 2pm the first day and they had to get someone else to take me downtown. Then on the third day there was over 2 hour wait. The best part was day two. I got up early to go and asked the front desk when the shuttle runs. I was told a half hour. 45 minutes later no one showed up. So, the front desk called and found out the shuttle person didn't work that day. So, they called a cab. Another nearly hour wait the cab finally showed up. I ended up being late for my meeting thanks to their incompetence. The price was not worth the hassle.

This hotel was clean, convenient, and affordable. No bedbugs, no break-ins, no noise. So I would stay here again. I should mention the hotel has two buildings and I was placed in the back building closest to the interstate.

The area was definitely not the best - I saw some people the next morning who looked like ladies off the night just off from their nightly shifts. I had heard this area is a hotbed (no pun) for this sort of activity, according to Tampa News. But again, no problems. Also, parking lot appeared fairly secure from action passing by (not an impermeable membrane by any stretch, but fenced).

Convenient to Ybor City and close enough to downtown where I had a business meeting.

Bottom-line: I would return to this hotel if I needed a clean place to crash before a business meeting (or maybe a cruise since that's what it looks like many people like to do).
