Management/Clerk Rude and Foul mouthed.
This is a SECOND line brand from Choice Hotels. Listed as an extended Stay with Kitchens. There is NOTHING in the kitchen that wouls allow you to cook. Supposed HOT breakfast is usually enough for three guests. The Sorry you are too late? At 8 AM??? Then excuse ie WE are Extended Stay Breakfast is our option? Teh don do false marketing? Also POOL is not heated, May have been cleaned two weeks ago.
This BRAND Not included in stay two times get one free fine print excludes this.
Look for the Quality Inn on 18thy Ave. Brand new. and you get all including good staff. Not a single BOZO who just lies. We were after four, needed to cancel. Mgr/clerk lied as Choice said its up to him. AVOID AVOID AVOID at all cost. Only half at most rooms upgraded as listed.

Rooms smelled like smoke, No signs of direction where to go,Pull out sofa bed was at least 10 years old,Ice machine was quite an inconvenience to find,
No one advised what times the continental breakfast was, Continental breakfast was not good at all and very very limited to choose from, Separate building access points were a huge hassle, Pillows were very small for some reason, Clean scale 5 out of 10,
Not updated at all since the 90s, Didn't refresh sheets and comforter on bed daily, Parking lot lamps didn't work, Pool was warm and great, Outside appearance was great, Outlet plugs to charge phones was horrible to get to located behind the bed, Door for room is not self closing,Lock on the door was broke along with molding,No bag for the ice bucket, Didn't empty the garbage daily

Please ignore the incoherent madman rantings of the other poster, this is a nice place to stay for the price. Obviously, it's not a 5 star $200 a night hotel, but for the price, you definitely get more than expected. The outside is very cute, resembling a Southwestern villa. Very quaint and cozy. I was met by Stacy, the front desk gentleman, who was very friendly and helpful, even when my card was deactivated by my cellphone. He told me I had to go up some stairs to access my suite (there is no elevator), which was a bit of a drawback as my suitcase was heavy.
I opened the door to the room and was very surprised to find that I had what amounted to a loft. I had never seen a hotel room like this, so I found it very cool. There was a kitchen downstairs, a writing desk, a flat-screen TV, couch, bathroom, and a balcony with a beautiful lake view. Upstairs was the king-sized bed and the master bathroom, as well as another TV. I was impressed, this room was bigger and nicer than some $130/night hotels I have stayed in, and this cost significantly less than that. The only issue was the thermostat, which, although set at 50 degrees, said that the room was about 80, and I felt hot. I don't know what was going on but I didn't want to bother with having to change rooms and since I was just there to sleep for the night, I decided to let it go. The bathrooms were clean and included a blowdryer, iron, and safe. Water pressure was good.
My daughter loved it and almost cried when we had to leave. We wish we had had time to enjoy the peaceful lake and balcony, but alas. We didn't make the 8 a.m. free breakfast as we were both exhausted, but we were close enough to Busch Blvd. and the restaurants in the area. The lady covering the front desk on Sunday morning was great and told us about the Manatee Viewing at Apollo Beach. Everyone was friendly and apart from the thermostat issue and the stairs, everything was great. For the price, you can't ask for more. My daughter has asked that we stay there again if we go to Tampa!
