This hotel is the single most disgusting place I have ever spent a night in. For $74.00 a night I had no expectations beyond a basic clean bed and shower and thwy failed to provide either of those. The walls had mold growing on them, there were piles of spider feces in the corners, what I can only assume is body fluids on the light fixture, and gum on the wall of the bathroom. When I brought these issues to the attention of the staff, they simply kept repeating that they have not had any complaints. The general manager seemed to not care whatsoever about the condition of the room and simply looked confused. I checked out immediately, and they did refund the single night.
I have attached photos of the issues in plain view. And upon showing the same photos to the desk clerk, I was given the key to two other rooms to look at. One room had plaster fall in from the ceiling and the other smelled so strongly of mildew that I could not enter the room.
This hotel is a health hazard and should be avoided.  I moved to the La Quinta down the road and paid the exact same price for a room that by comparison is phenomenal. The ramada was truly stomach turning, and the manager obviously stopped caring a long time ago. You have been warned.

I actually really liked this place, especially for the price ($59/night).  The staff was very friendly.  They serve breakfast from 6-10 every morning which was a plus (waffles, apples, bananas, bagels, pastries, cereal, & oatmeal).  The wifi was also pretty good.  Outside pool was also well kept.  The IHOP next door is always open- it was even open on Christmas which was very convenient since nothing else was.

The location is perfect, since we had planned to visit many Tampa attractions.  Busch Gardens was close to 15 minutes away.

Obviously, it's not a Marriott, but the staff and service make the Ramada deserving of a five-star rating.
