well, pretty much a standard hotel here.  the rooms are all suites, and have little balconies.  although it is too freakin' humid in atlanta to really enjoy the balcony.  the best thing is that this hotel is only 2 blocks from the marta metro stop on peachtree!  super convenient for those of us who want to be a little green and take public transit to the airport, before getting on a mega pollution producing jet.

No wireless internet in 2010 in a major city? CMON!! You can pay 14/day to sit in a corner and plug into the phone jack (the cord is hidden in a bag in the closet).  I experienced 3 separate incidents when a staff member was blatantly rude and disrespectful to me during my 3 night stay at the marriot.  What happened to southern hospitality?  Nothing at this hotel seemed to work.  The machine to make the keys was broken when I arrived, when they finally got me a key, it didnt work.  They have a jacuzzi/ indoor pool area on the 3rd floor.  Alas, the door was locked  and it was closed on a nice summer day in july.  Getting out of the parking garage was nearly impossible because the gate malfunctioned and you had to call the front desk to have someone let you out.  Yes, the rooms were large, and the bed wasnt bad by hotel standards, but it looks like it hasn't been updated in 15-20 years.  Will I stay here again?  NEVER EVER, EVER.

I think this is a great business hotel for the midtown area, and would definitely stay there again. Certainly the most affordable nice hotel in the area (like $200/night less than neighbors 4 seasons or W). I took MARTA from the airport, and was delighted that this was so close. Hotel also conveniently located to businesses, bars and restaurants in the area, so I felt like everything was in easy reach. Another bonus was that Piedmont Park was just a few blocks away, big plus for runners, though the hotel's gym was also very decent. Not "spa" amenities like some other hotels (sauna, etc.), but new equipment and clean. Rooms are standard Marriott, but big and the beds was comfy. Internet is $14/day. ANNOYING (I just used my wireless card). C'mon Marriott. High speed internet should be free for guests. Staff were always very courteous and well informed.

Stayed here while attending an AMA course and have to say that I was really impressed. From the valet who opened up the taxi door, got my bags, waited for me to check in, and then took everything to my room. I felt like I was at the Four Seasons with all the attention showered on me! For the price, the room can't be beat. Huge bathroom with both a bathtub and separate shower. Comfortable bed and very quiet. Nice indoor/outdoor pool area (hot tub could have been better), and decent workout room with weight sets. It's close to the AMA center, and for course attendees you get a discount in the hotel restaurant. Close to High Museum of Art, which one cannot miss while the Louvre exhibit is in town. Piedmont Park is very close by as well. Stay here if you can!

The srevice is first class in this business hotel. My every request was met with courtesy.  My suite was certainly large enough with both a tub and a stand-alone shower.

Except for city construction across the street, the 19th floor was completely quiet. The small in-house restaurant was fine for breakfast - fast courteous service and food well prepared.

I recommend the Marriott to experienced tourists or business travelers who need the space to spread out.

My one irritation is no free WiFi Internet connection.  The time for charging for Internet connections is past. On the plus side, there were plenty of power outlets on the desk.

A solid A-OK. Staff is great and friendly. (I heart the gold teeth. [No, I'm not being sarcastic.]) As a business traveler who doesn't always  travel with a laptop, I do depend on business centers for getting my boarding passes. While Marriott Hotels often have a center that let you do this for free, this one doesn't. Gym is small but clean, tidy, and with working equipment. Rooms are great; best deal around for space and accommodations. Cabs abound. Not a lot within walking distance--seems to shut down around 5 PM.

The Marriott Midtown Atlanta was a wonderful stay. I wasn't able to check into my room until after 11pm and the staff accommodated me without any problems. In general the staff was extremely helpful and very, very friendly. My room was awesome. The suite included a nice living room area with a convertible sofa, bar area and desk area and balcony. The bedroom was closed off from the living room area by French doors. The bathroom was a combination of a stand up shower and separate bath, with the vanity area in an adjoining space. The location of the hotel was convenient to nightlife and restaurants with many just right around the corner. Piedmont Park is about a 10-15 minute walk away. Marta is only 2 blocks away which makes Atlanta very accessible to a person like myself whom does not drive. Will definitely stay again.

One, smarmy front desk person who took great amounts of time booking a room at another property for a lady while several of us stood there waiting for assistance checking in. Not even a "I'll be right with you". . . BAD first impression. Room was nice. Clean. Good location. I'd love to give it four stars but the front desk staff was weak. Nothing leaves a bad first impression than having only ONE person working the front desk.

The Yelpers seemed to have gotten this one right.  The rooms are large, clean, and comfortable.  The service is exceptional here - from the valet to the front desk to the bartenders.  You are literally one block away from all the fun bars and restaurants on crescent ave - great location.  My only complaint is that they need to provide free internet - 12 bucks a day is asinine!!!  Come on it's 2010!!!!

Stayed here on the 22nd of March and had no complaints. Nice hotel in good part of town. My review is for the customer service provided by operator (Kosoff) when I called back on Sunday March 24th to redeem by Marriott points for my stay. I was transferred twice to rewards center that was not even open on Sunday. Called back to ask if someone coul assist today only to be hung up on. Really poor customer service and I'll take my business elsewhere next time.

This hotel was the perfect choice for our quick weekend trip to Atlanta. We didn't spend much time in the room, but I wouldn't have minded if we needed to. The suite was spacious, comfortable and full of light. Bed was really good! The water pressure was weak, though, which is a huge pet peeve of mine.

The location was good for leisurely neighborhood strolls and there are plenty of bars/restaurants nearby (Tap is a unique spot with lots of beer options).

Self park was $18, valet was $24. I suggest self park, as it's right under the hotel, it's a quick and easy way to save a few bucks.

Love Marriott. This one is very convenient to lots of good night life. Two block walk to wonderful breakfast Highland Bakery. One downer, one of the staff was rude and argued with someone in our party. I spoke with manager who was attentive.

19th floor staycation for my wife and I for a getaway weekend.  Nice balcony off of the room.  Good view of the city, especially at night.  Convenient location that you can walk to some really good restaurants.

How could you not be happy this was the hotel you got when bidding on Priceline or Hotwire.  This is an all suites hotel, clean and each suite as 2 TV's!!!   Updates Flat Screens in the living space and the older TV was moved into the bedroom part of the suite on top of the spacious cabinet. Fridge and separate bar area, both a bath tub and stall shower, keyed access after 11pm, a near perfect location in Midtown... All rooms even have a small balcony if you need to step outside for fresh air or even better, to drop water balloons on those stuck up beautiful people that pushed you out of the way in front of Opera earlier that evening or the frat house buffoons that puked on you as they stumbled out of Flip Flops.  Yup... you're right around the corner form the busiest part of Crescent St.... A positive in my book, for sheer entertainment value and guilty pleasure seeking!!!

Absolutely great hotel! My suite was well appointed and very nice!

The sitting area featured a couch, matching lounge chair, leather upholstered ottoman, lamp and lamp stand, flat screen TV and TV stand. In the corner of the suite was a computer desk and office chair. Suite also had a minibar (complete with sink and drink tray) with enough counter top space to prepare several drinks.

The bedroom area (which is closed off from the rest of the suite) had french doors allowing for increased privacy. Bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable! I called the front desk to request a late check out just to continue sleeping in that bed lol. Bedroom also had its own flat screen TV and TV stand.

The bathroom was spacious, modern and super clean. Shower was roomy and separate from the bathtub, I love that! The bathroom sink is slightly separated from the bathroom in an adjacent area near the bedroom.

Location is good too. Restaurants only a few blocks away, Starbucks within walking distance. Parking is directly beneath the hotel. If you want to save a few bucks I suggest self parking rather than using the valet service. It's painless.

Staff was warm and welcoming.

Highly recommend!

You know what is great about having prime real estate in a major city? You can continually renovate and redocorate the space and make it seem so new.

This Midtown Marriot just complete renovation when my fiance and I visited Atlanta last weekend and the room were spot on. We stayed in the heart of Midtown, 4 block from the park, and two blocks from the HIgh and spent under 80 bucks a night through one of teh travel sites.

The amenities are great with underground secure parking, a pool that is half indoor half out door, a 24 hr gym and a nice bar and cafe.

The best place about this place is the location. You are a block from Marta if needed and very close to some of the great resturaunts with acces to East Atlanta and Buckhead.

If we get back to Atalnta in the next couple months, I will defnetly look this place up as it is nice and much more affordable than the hotels it neighbors (the Four Seasons and the Hotel Midtown)

This hotel is just OK, slightly lower in quality than an average Marriott due to its age. Beware, this Marriott does NOT have a concierge level. I agree with the other reviewers that this hotel does not have as many business amenities as it should. As a frequent business traveler, I am willing to pay a bit more for the comforts of the concierge level and internet access. I also concur that there isn't much within walking distance of the hotel at night time.

I cannot complain about the room at all. I had one of the business executive suites and the room was larger than average, clean and well maintained. The room service breakfast was actually pretty decent and reasonably priced. I have been sticking to oatmeal lately because I have found most eggs, bacon and toast breakfasts to be inedible. You can't really go wrong with oatmeal right? This bowl of oatmeal was the size of a large dog bowl and came with fruit, toast, coffee and juice for $12 which is a bargain by room service standards.

I can complain about the valet service though. Although there were 3 valets behind the bell desk (which was inside the hotel) there was only 1 who was parking cars and helping guests with their luggage. This valet also seemed to be acting as the concierge giving out information for restaurants within walking distance. As a result, I had to wait a long time to get my car parked and checked in. I don't know what the other bellhops/valets were doing but they weren't helping any of the guests.

I chose to stay at this Marriott because it was close to GA Tech and I wanted the rewards points. But if I were to return to the area, I am not sure I'd stay here again. I was originally booked for two nights but checked out one night early because I was underwhelmed by the area and lack of the concierge lounge. I was flying out the next morning so I switched to a nicer hotel near the airport for a cheaper rate. I personally thought this hotel was slightly overpriced but I guess you are paying for the area.

Great, great, great hotel, especially for Dragon-Con weekend.  At first, I was disappointed that we couldn't get into one of the host hotels, or one which was located closer to downtown Atlanta.  Any regrets completely dissipated once I experienced how wonderful this hotel was.

Let's start with the room:  a spacious suite, with two separate entrances to the bathroom (and some sliding door separators).  There was a sprawl-worthy king-sized bed in one room and a sleeper sofa in the other.  Both rooms had TVs.  We also had a mini-fridge and a small, walk-out balcony.  The bath and tub are separate, which I loved because all the dirty towels could be thrown into the unused tub without mucking up the place. Everything was clean and there was no lingering odor of hotel-strength cleaning products.

The gym is finely appointed, with free weights, some weight machines and a number of cardio machines.  The towels were always stocked when we used it and it, like our room, was kept clean.  We also had the opportunity to use the hot tub and pool.  Part of the pool extends outdoors, and it's on the third floor of the hotel, so you get a neat view of the sky and surrounding skyscrapers.

We ate breakfast at the hotel a couple of mornings and were pleased with the quality and variety of the food.  A very friendly gentleman manned the made-to-order omelet station and the rest of the staff were equally pleasant.

Finally, the location:  this hotel is away from the hubbub of downtown and was a welcome respite after dealing with the crazy wackiness that is Dragon-Con.  It was quiet, and the neighborhood is very pleasant.  The botanical gardens and some great restaurants are within walking distance, as was the Arts Center MARTA station.

With the convenient location, clean rooms and friendly staff, I'd be happy to return!

The location for Midtown adventuring is premo.  I love the setup of the rooms, but what I like best is the water pressure!  The bathroom was VERY nice, and I enjoyed the separate tub and shower.  It seems some folks had problems with the water pressure, browsing some other reviews.  My room had NO issues.

The bed is heavenly and the staff is friendly.  I don't necessarily agree with an upcharge to park and another one to use wi-fi....but overall, this was a very nice stay.

I like this hotel because its situated in the part of Atlanta closest to my large accounts. Midtown!

Room Service/ food is average. Love the layout of the suite, shower and tub.
The wifi is only free in the lobby (but now that I am Gold status I get it in my room at no charge).
Bed is comfy, Love the views and balcony and easy walk to Piedmont Park and great dining.  I love the vibe in Midtown.

I am a creature of habit so as long as this place keeps it up, they will continue to get my business. One thing I do notice is their water is very chlorinated and it irratates my skin.

Got an excellent deal on this hotel through name your own price feature on Priceline. Stayed on a Friday night in October ($94). Very fast check in and the valets were very polite when we pulled up (even though we parked our own car in the hotel garage). Parking was an additional $22. Two small problems: our key card wouldn't work to let us in the garage, so we pushed the call button. The person who came on kept telling us to swipe our card, which we were doing repeatedly. Suddenly an employee comes by and swipes her card to let us in. We find a great parking spot in the garage and head upstairs to the room. When we arrive on the 7th floor, our key card doesn't work so I head back downstairs to the front desk. Stupid me for not stopping by on our way up after we couldn't get in the garage! The front desk staff apologized and reset our card. This time it worked great. Room was spotless and huge! We enjoyed the mini bar area with refrigerator for making our own drinks.
Convenient location off of I75, within walking distance to some fun Midtown bars and restaurants, of which we enjoyed ourselves and felt safe walking home. Extremely quiet as well. The bed and linens were above average, nice comfortable living room area as well. Bathroom has a separate shower  and tub. Shower poured water out onto the floor by the toilet. Mopped it up as best as we could but it did get very wet. Nice complimentary toiletries. Small balcony to view the city skyline and sunset from.
Had to pay for Wi-Fi which we didn't do.

Never underestimate the power of a good morning shower!  I've lived in five places over the last four years and have faithfully dragged my much-loved Down Under showerhead around. And typically when I'm at a hotel, the first thing I complain about is the showerhead, but not at the Midtown Marriott Suites!  Their showerheads are equally nice and wake you up with the warm and soothing caress of a summer rain shower, aaahh...  

And the rest of the room isn't bad at all: plenty of space, sitting room, 2 TV's, soft bed with lots of pillows and a large bathroom.  The location is great with easy access to the I-85, downtown, Buckhead and some cool restaurants on Piedmont and Highland.  There are also two MARTA stations within easy walking distance if you want to leave your car in the lot.  And their prices can't be beat for the hood!  The Four Seasons is right next door and I'm guessing you're not going to be staying there for anywhere near $100/night!  So absolutely no complaints for the Midtown Marriott Suites, grab a room if you're in Atlanta for business or pleasure!

I ended up here after I was overbooked at another local hotel.  The room was excellent although the bed was a bit soft for me because of the mattress topper they decided to use.  The restaurant/bar had a nice selection of meals.  I opted for the skirt steak and it came out perfectly done.  Side note:  I think this is the only restaurant in Atlanta that serves Pepsi (not my preference, BTW).
I found it hilarious that you only get one sliver of soap (very fancy--comes in a pyramid shaped box that I've seen used for tea bags) for both your sink and shower, so you have to remember to bring it with you.  The front desk kindly supplied me with more...
And, of course, like all of the big chains, they feel obligated to nail you for Internet access at usurious rates.  Thank God for broadband cards...

I enjoyed staying here. but I can't stay at this hotel again. I'm not saying that it's not a nice hotel. it's that the food is no good. The restaurant was the only place I would take points away. the food was uninspired and some what bland, just not up to Marriott standards. I had a grilled chicken salad that was supposed to be a cob salad. The lettuce was somewhat brown and wilted the chicken was cut in very small pieces very hard and dry.  it was just terrible. I tried again the next night and ordered the rigatoni with Italian sausage. The Italian sausage was not really ground but it wasn't whole either, it was kind of masticated sausage. It was very unappealing. And there was no red sauce --that's okay but the sauce it did have was bland and not very tasty . It's a shame because I like the hotel and the location but for me personally I really need a place where I can get some room service that's really nice and tasty because I don't want to go out and walk down the street and get something to eat. I want to stay in the hotel, so I have to find a different hotel. I can't stay at this Marriott again.

A-OK is a pretty good description. The staff (when encountered) was pretty nice (I think it partly might be a southern thing). The room was nice as well (oddly powerful shower though).

The only thing that wasn't good (at all really) was the restaurant/bar. It was very understaffed  - and it wasn't too busy at all when we went - we just wanted a couple burgers and beers. We got seated and waited literally 15-20 minutes before not even getting water or menus. Unfortunate for them - but thankfully for us the Four Seasons was right next door so we went there.

Got this hotel off Priceline  - and for the amount of money I spent, it was decent.

I recently visited Atlanta with my kids. We stayed at the Marriott Suites, and we're pleasantly surprised at how accommodating the staff is. The night manager, Troy Carbo, is more than just a supervisor, he truly understands customer service. He went out of his way to make my stay pleasant. I had a situation with one of the front desk clerks, Alita, he immediately rectified the situation and dissolved it. I will definitely be staying here again. Make sure to ask for Troy, he will make certain you have a pleasant stay.

My husband and I booked a hotel at about 7:30pm this past Saturday using the ebookers app. We checked into the hotel (Atlanta Marriott Suites Midtown) at about 8pm and the hotel gave us room keys for room 1522. Because we were running late for dinner we didn't go up to the room, but instead dropped our bags with bell services and went straight to dinner. When we returned to the hotel at 2am, the room keys didn't work. We went back downstairs and the woman at the desk "fixed" the keys. Back up to the 15th floor and again they didn't work. Back down to the lobby and she "fixed" them again. Back up, still not working. Back down, and this time she sent a hotel security guard with us. By this time it was about 2:30am. He unlocked the door to find it was latched from the inside and there was a man sleeping in the room. He accused us of loaning our room out or letting friends in (which we did not). Back down to the lobby, and we waited for about 40 minutes without so much as an offer for a bottle of water or even a "sorry". Meanwhile, there were some other angry patrons yelling at the woman at the desk--it seems like they were having similar issues. Around 3am we gave up waiting for her to figure out if there were any free rooms and asked for our car to be brought around so we could drive back to the suburbs, and we didn't return home until 4am. The complete lack of customer service was a joke.

Update: My husband spoke with the manager this afternoon and he is doing everything in his power to make this right. We're being credited for the room as well as getting a free room at any Mariott and a few other perks. Too bad the person at the desk needed some serious customer service training but the manager is working it out!

I'm slightly a fan! It was a great location, since I was going to a concert at Centerstage. Took a $10.00 cab there and walked back... We had a corner room and it was nice! Breakfast was "the best". The front desk staff could of been more pleasant, but hey, guess I can't have it all. The pool is small, but they have a hot tub!!!

This hotel was wonderful. Great location. Very accommodating.

I am in a weight loss competition and they don't have a scale in their workout center. I asked the reception desk and they got me one in 30 minutes and allowed me to keep it for the duration of my stay. Also, the maids left me notes every day and even gave me free water bottles because they noticed I go to the gym.

Great customer service.

We requested a double bed suite and only got one bed for a 4 night stay. By night 2 they put us in the original order yet with no recourse of their flaw (meaning credit). Upon check out we had two nights of $26 x 2 days of parking . .  . WE DID NOT HAVE A CAR.

The so called restaurant here is pathetic to boot.

Also, I wanted to email them my complaint as the calling to the front desk has been a serious fail. They have NO CONTACT by email on their website.   FAIL IN CUSTOMER  SERVICE!!!!!!

This Marriott midtown is not so great in its class. Rooms are little small and most of the rooms are in same size,also it's one of the affordable branded hotel in midtown ($100+ per night). You can get everything from what you expected from Marriott. The only thing I ddnt like is parking is not free, $22 / night or hourly pay. I think they need to allow a free parking when we booked a $100 room.Rest everything is good, and will like to stay here again. Also you don't need a car,most of the midtown attractions are just walking distance.

Sometimes I stay in hotels, and sometimes I live in them. I lived in this hotel and don't have any complaints.

The location is great, especially if you don't have a car. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance and the train is just two blocks away. I never went to the hotel restaurant / bar because there was no need with so many other options.

This would be a three star review were it not for my exceptional housekeeper. She took great care of me during my stay. I'm particular about certain things, like leaving the nasty comforter off of the bed among a handful of other things. I only had to ask once with my first note to her and she remembered for the length of my stay. She would leave a nice note after every visit and even left me a few candies on Halloween. Remember to tip housekeeping, they are the key to having a pleasant stay in any hotel.

Right off the freeway, the Marriott is very convenient and in a great location in Midtown Atlanta across the freeway from GA Tech. There's self parking underground and the space is a bit tight, so bring your A game for parking. Warning: the parking entry and exit machines suck. Multiple times I've had to hit the call button and wait for a person to help me get out.

Check-in was smooth and fast. My room was clean and the AC was cold when I walked in. The gym is small with 3 treadmills, 3 elliptical machines. Negative of the gym is that it's very warm - they need some AC in there. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of food with an omelette bar. Loved the fact that my choices of cut fruit were berries, strawberries, watermelon, pineapple, cantaloupe, and grapes.

Oh, it also sucks that internet is $15/day.

Great hotel. Employees are helpful and always friendly. Parking garage is underneath the hotel with not a lot of spaces. We paid $25 a night for parking. We could have gotten out of it a lot cheaper by parking in the lots around the hotel. Next time maybe. The rooms are nice but the bathroom we had could have used some maintenance to repair the broken tiles and such. this hotel is in a great area. You can walk to train station, restaurants and shopping.

Great views, clean and sophisticated. Rooms have private bedroom and a small kitchen area. Large bathroom with full tub and walk in shower. Rooms also have private balcony, great for smokers!

I really enjoyed this hotel. It may not be the fanciest in the area but rooms were affordable at $139 a night and our suite was really nice.

We stayed here last weekend for a wedding and it was a solidly good hotel - I'd say somewhere around a 3.5.

The staff were super friendly and the elevators are really fast! The king bed suite has plenty of space for two people with a separate bath and shower. The bed was really comfy and the rooms seemed to have good sound proofing.

Shortcomings: parking kind of sucks. The spaces are small in a garage with a 6'2 clearance. For $25/day, I'd like to feel less nervous about parking my car.

I'd stay here again!

When in town I typically start at the Renaissance in mid town but they were booked so this was a logical Marriott choice. So glad I did! The rooms are very spacious being a full suite with living room separated by lovely French doors. Bathroom has separate tub and shower. The king bed was beyond comfortable. Sliding glass door and bay window in bedroom to allow fresh air. I so love that. Living room has a wet bar, mini fridge, couch, arm chair and desk. Very nice, very spacious! The lobby/grille is large, airy and comfortable. Seating for food, seating with club chairs with low tables for food or business and open bench seating. TV's around for sports (Go Blackhawks!) and bar that seats 12. The staff, no matter where you're at within, is super friendly, helpful and accommodating. I'm so glad the Renaissance was booked because I wouldn't have found this hotel. Now it's my go to hotel when here on business every month. Also one block west are a bunch of great restaurants and one block east is a fabulous Italian restaurant. GREAT HOTEL!!!

Went there this past weekend. The location is great. We walked everywhere or used the MARTA, whose station is very close.  We had a room on floor 15 with a city view. The room was clean and pretty. The staff was friendly. We will definately stay again.

Great location and super awesome bed!

We ended up at the Marriott Suites because we wanted to be downtown.  When we arrived, we were immediately greeted by a friendly valet/bell staff that parked our car (worth the money).  The front desk agent was not as friendly as the valet/bell staff, but the check-in was quick and smooth.

The bellman who escorted us to our room opened the door, and we were immediately pleased with what we saw:  a clean, large room.  The suite was divided by a double door that separated the living area from the bedroom and bathroom.  

We ordered steak, chicken fingers, fries, and french onion soup on the first night of our visit, and very item was wonderful.  The attendant who delivered the food was very friendly and the food was beautifully presented on one large tray which was easy to use in bed.

We don't visit many hotels with water pressure as good as the Marriott Suites.  The walk-in shower was perfect, and while the standard size tub was nothing special, it was nice to soak in as well.  There were exactly enough linens for us during our visit.  

There's only one thing to say about the bed.  It was one of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in.  

I was slightly disappointed the hotel only received three diamonds from AAA.  Maybe it could be a four diamond if only a mini-bar was in each room - and -  I also wished the bellman would have given us a better introduction to our room.  Show off your hotel and let your guests know about every amenity before leaving the guest to figure it out for themselves.  I would have been glad to know about the guest service directory, internet connection/cost, room service times, and every amenity the hotel offers.  That would have added value to our visit.  I had to learn about these items on my own - which wasn't terrible - but for the cost of the stay, I would have rather someone told me up front.

It is a full-service hotel, so you can expect to pay for valet parking, internet, and food.  They are well worth the cost in my opinion.  If you want to eat outside the hotel, there are plenty of options within walking distance to the hotel's front door.  I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a good location at an affordable price.

Call the authorities because I just robbed the Marriott.

I had used Priceline's name your own price and bid low for midtown ($100) but I had nothing to lose. Surprisingly I won and was assigned this fabulous hotel. Upon check in I was given my room key and upon entering I thought I was in the wrong room-I had been upgraded to a suite. The bathroom was so large, it was separated by a double vanity wash area, there was a wet bar, a full sofa and desk area, 2 tvs, a separate bedroom area and to top it off a balcony.

The location is ideal (right off I-75, safe, walking distance to Starbucks, Einstein bagels and classy restaurants) and next to the 4 seasons.

My only gripe is the $22/day parking but I was able to find street parking for free. Also there is a $4 lot 1 block away.

I'd definitely stay here again, especially considering my $100 room was going for $300 on marriott's website.

Was just there few nights ago, it was our wedding anniversary, decided to stay local for a couple nights away from the kids. It was a pleasant experience. We are so close to everything restaurants, movies and shopping. Loved it that our suite was huge and theres a balcony. Will come back here again in the future.

I've stayed at this hotel several times before I moved back in town. It is quite possibly my favorite hotel in Atlanta. Yes, it's not quite up to the level of Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton. However, for the price, this hotel cannot be beat. The rooms are huge! Every one is basically a suite at any other hotel. The bedroom is separated from the living room by double doors.This is great if you are sharing the room and would like some privacy. The bathrooms are clean and very spacious as well.  There is a comfy, fold-out couch, as well as balconies with city views. In addition, the staff has been consistently polite and ready to meet every need.

The only downside is some of the interior seems a little dated compared to the more modern W and Hyatt. The Marriott simply trumps them in size though. I used the garage once and found it pricey. You may also have issues if your vehicle is too tall. If there is one thing Atlanta is good at though, it's street parking.

Super comfortable suite - its humungous and smelled like peaches. Wet bar, living area, bedroom and separate shower/tub bathroom. Lamps all over with extra plugs for phone charging.

The bedroom can be separated from the "living" room. Bathroom has all my amentities and a tub.

Fitness amenities were great! Ellipticals, treadmills, weights and exercise balls. Swimming pool, indoors and out (was helpful especially since the kids were all playing indoors, I swam laps outdoors). Accessible 24 hours too.

Breakfast below at their Grille 35 is a little hefty - averaged $15 for breakfast, but definitely filling.
