When ever I come to Marietta for work, I stay here in this hotel.  Staffs have been always friendly.  My rooms always have been clean and never had problems.  Well, one time, they accidentally gave me a room that was already occupied, and THANK GOD!!!!  he/she was taking a shower.  I forgive and moved on.  Free breakfast (company pays, don't be jealous).  Only complain i have is FREE WIRELESS INTERNET (they need one). this place provides Free internet service but needs ethernet cable.  Exercise room isn't great, but least they have dumbells to work with, and three cardio machines.  I can cope.    This is my little hotel home in marietta.  Time for work....son of a....YELP!

Not a standout Courtyard but it does the job.

Staff is friendly.  Room is clean.  Everything is unspectacular.

The workout room has two treadmills, one elliptical and one bike.  The machines are OK but they do have personal TV's attached to each piece of cardio equipment so bring your headphones.

The nicest staff you'll find at any local hotel.  Attention to detail - very considerate.  Updates were done not too long ago.

I have used them for business for years.

Pretty nice looking hotel, has a very new age/futuristic feel to it. This place reminds me of my dorm because you have to use your key to electronically activate the elevator going up and then you put your key next to your door to unlock it. Elevators are pretty fast and this place is right near the center of tourism. There's a very nice restaurant underneath that I recommend eating dessert or breakfast at. The rooms themselves are two queen beds next to each other, which sucks if you have someone that snores. Also, the bathroom door is sliding and does not lock, which is a big bummer.

The staff was very pleasant, but the facilty itself is in dire need of a MAJOR facelift.  There is no elevator and the curtans were worn down to the threads.   The parking lot was not lit very well and there was a hint of stale smoke in the air.  The benefit to this was, the facility was near the Interstate and access to 75 was easy.

Hotel was clean and rooms were nice, but nothing special.the bed was comfortable and it is easy access to local businesses. The downside to this hotel is not having a place to eat dinner or lunch, no bar, and the store to purchase anything you forgot is very small with little selection. Overall this hotel was very nice and i would stay at it again.

I would book this joint again.

Location: 5 Stars - Easy access to 75 and many restaurants

Friendliness of Staff: 5 Stars - Very warm, friendly, and helpful

Cleanliness of the room: 4 Stars - Needed a good vacuum job in a big way (edges)

    Internet Free: 5 Stars

Printer in the Lobby: 5 Stars

Ease of Access to room: 5 Stars - Parking offers multiple entry points (with room key)

Comfort of Bed: 3 Stars - Mattress was kind of old and pillows a little tired

Big Screen TV - 5 Stars

Why not an overall 5 star rating? Well, the decor of the hotel is pretty dated. It's time for a good update. The Courtyard by Marriott in the same area (Cumberland Mall) is really nice and updated, but much more of a hassle in terms of parking.

Stayed here for a night and it was in a convenient location. It had been recently renovated, so it was very nice. Bistro in the lobby had great pizza and a Starbucks. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the room was very clean! Staff was nice as well.

A great Marriott property in a very convenient location with ample parking. The first week I was here, the room was perfect with a nice balcony overlooking the courtyard and pool area. The second week, the first room smelled like someone had smoked in it but they had tried to clean it so I asked for and was given a replacement room that was perfect.

Nice sized rooms with a work desk, mini fridge, large flat panel TV, coffee set up and a comfortable bed. A boat load of towels and a large bathroom with the great curved shower curtain rail that I have come to expect at Marriott.

This location does have a breakfast buffet, but it's paid and so I have skipped it. There is also a small market with a few bits available to snack on.

Free wi-fi worked great, even during the evening hours.

Value is not there.   AAA / AARP Members Beware

Since our Grandson was born a year ago, this made the third time we stayed at this property. The first time was not bad but not outstanding either.  Second time we stayed was in the winter and they were remodeling and the room they stuck us in did not have properly fuctioning heating and for a while , we were freezing but they did move us to another room.  Rooms on the ground level are like being in a dungeon.  Hallway has very poor lighting and my wife did not feel safe particulary with a room with a sliding glass door that opened onto a driveway.

This time, we decided to give it another try and the remodeling is complete but it appears that the remodeling was confined to the lobby and dining area.  Still ended up on the ground floor and it is still a dungeon.

Outside of this, nothing else that mattered was wrong except the beds were too soft, the ice maker on the ground floor was not functioning, my wife tried to find an index to the TV Channels or a programing guide ( someone did drop off the Weedend Edition of USA Today at the door which was not much help) and there was constant commontion in the hallway with slamming doors, etc. Wi-FI reception was intermittent and at one time, my tablet was trying to log onto the Double Tree next door.

When we checked out, we asked about AAA or AARP discounts because we had failed to mention those when we checked in.  Was told that this property does not recognize these anymore.

In terms of value, the other property we have been staying at during our trips to Marietta is the did offer these amenities.  Normally it's a bit more expensive but when you consider that they do give the AAA/AARP discounts and most times we've been there, a light breakfast has been included then the Hyatt is the better deal botth  in terms of ambiance and monetary value.

Onyl thing going for this  property is the staff.

I recently stayed at this Courtyard while in Atlanta for business. The lobby and courtyard appear to be recently renovated, and are beautiful. The lobby offers plenty of seating as well as a small market that offers breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. The lobby also has a small bar.

The rest of the hotel could have used some renovating as well, but for the most part it is clean and nice. The hotel attempted to add a few quick fixes to the room to make it more modern- like fancy lamps or headboards, but other things like the desks and drawers were just old.

The hotel is laid out as a square so all inner rooms face the pool and courtyard. Unfortunately it was too cold to use the pool, but my group took advantage of the fire pit and chairs located right next to it. The hotel is only two floors and all rooms have a small outdoor seating area.

The staff was great and very accommodating. The internet was on and off, not a reliable connection which was annoying- but hey it was free and didn't require a password.

The hotel was easy to get to and close to where I needed to be. I would have no problem staying here again.
