My fiancee and I stayed here and couldnt have picked a better hotel. Its not a traditional Marriott from the exterior but has all of the traditional amenities. Very nice lobby area, fantastic staff, sufficient business center, free internet in the room, and a restaurant on site.

We had a balcony in our room and it was so nice with that warm Georgia breeze and beautiful trees. We initially had a suite but switched. The suite was plenty of room for 2 people but no balcony.

The location was the main reason I chose this one. Its right off of 285 and you can get to 75 in no time. Its next to Orient Express, SOHO, the Grape, Vinings Club, Georgian Club, Cobb Galleria, etc. I used to live in Smyrna so I knew this location was great. There's a cheap gas station directly across the street and a Publix grocery store on the other side of the highway. It intersects with Cumberland Pkwy which took us no time to get to the restaurants at the mall like Cheesecake Factory, Stoney River, Costcos and the mall. You cant get a better cozier hotel. It was very quiet and had plenty of parking.  I used airline miles that paid for it but even with a AAA discount, its still very reasonable and comparable to other Marriotts in the area. I just love this particular area.

We are on our way back to this same hotel later this month. My fiancee loved the area since he had never been to Vinings. I loved the country Georgia style of the hotel and the Southern hospitality.

I wish I had looked at both TripAdvisor AND Yelp before booking my colleague's rooms at the Courtyard.  Forget about all of the little things here and there that have happened; the General Manager, Clay, is incredibly obnoxious.

      OK, forget obnoxious:  downright rude.

There are lots of other hotels, Marriotts and other brands, nearby, so go elsewhere.

The location of this hotel was the best part for me!  The minimal encounters with the staff went well.  The bed was definitely not the most comfortable thing, needs replacement.  The bar was a joke though.  The bartender (if we can really call her that) was very friendly, however it's clear she'd never worked as a bartender before (the poor girl didn't even know how to open a bottle of wine!)  The horrible part about the bar though was what had to be the ice bin.  We had A LOT of gross floatie things in my first drink (thought maybe it was the glass) so I just switched to wine instead since she didn't know how to make my drink in the first place.  Then my husband ordered a mixed drink and his glass had the same nasty floaties, so we are thinking it must  have been in the ice/ice bin.  It was seriously disgusting.  I feel bad for the gentleman that ordered 2 mixed drinks right before us, hope he noticed before gulping them down!

I got a great rate on Priceline, but if I had paid more I would not have been happy with the hotel.  Location was great, and I love the little birds they have in the lobby area.

This Courtyard is pretty nice! There's a small restaurant and bar, though it closes early (11pm) and there is no room service on weekends.

The rooms were spacious and clean with updated decor--ours even had a view of the pool.

The breakfast buffet was mediocre and the coffee is positively undrinkable, hence the lack of the 5th star. If you stay here, make arrangements to hit up Starbucks just up the road.

The staff was great--always happy to help and super friendly.

I recently stayed here for 3 nights for a business trip.  I was assigned a room on the second floor right by the stairs and ice machine which actually wasn't too noisy at all!  The staff was always extremely nice and professional!  However, I didn't see an elevator, I'm sure there is one but I was never directed to one and I carried my luggage myself up the stairs (thankfully only 1 floor) but I'm only 5ft tall and have a huge piece of luggage, luckily It wasn't too heavy.

The cafe in the morning is more of a buffet and the food is just ok, I would've rather go to fast food honestly.  The only dish I really enjoyed there for breakfast was cereal!  If memory serves correctly, I believe it was around $12 for the morning buffet of just gross looking food.

My room was very clean!  In fact, the maid wrapped up my straightening iron and took the extra time to make me feel comfortable by cleaning up my sing and bathroom products on the same level as a luxury hotel would have.  I was very impressed!

Parking is more than ample at this location!

They do have a very very small area with snack and drinks in the lobby and you are able to charge items to your room which is always nice!  Also, my room had a little fridge so that was a plus considering the breakfast offered is not so great.

Overall, the room was nice and staff very nice just not the best dining options and not ideal for people with heavy luggage.  I really hope there is an elevator...

Oh one last thing, internet service kept dropping the signal repeatedly!!!

      Pros:
      Great Staff
      Ample Parking
      Clean Rooms
      Great Maid Service
      Newspaper available in the morning
      Cookies available in evening

      Cons:
      Breakfast buffet - no good!

I had a fantastic stay here! Very accommodating and great customer service! Even had a microwave at this hotel and couch to sit and enjoy television before bed!

The staff were professional and helpful. The housekeeping staff keeps this place clean.

Some issues with the room were a broken aerator for the bath faucet, the bar faucet didn't work at all, and the some damage to the wall paper.  The most inconvenient feature was my room key.  I had gone through 4-5 room keys during my stay because it would become demagnetized, even after I had kept it separate in my back pocket.

My family stayed here this past weekend, and of course I was in and out. It  has a nice setting, safe environment, and the beds are soft.

This is still an ok place to stay, but it is time for some updates. The interior is dated and not in a good way. The staff is fine, and generally friendly and helpful. It is in a good location close to businesses and dining options. The common areas are ok, but the furniture is rough.

The breakfast option is ok as long as you are getting it for free. It is not up to par for the price if you have to pay for it. I ate at the lobby bar one evening. The bartender was very friendly. The food was ok. Not good, but good enough if you do not want to have to leave the hotel.

The rooms are ok, but also starting to look a little dated. The wifi is spotty, especially near the rear of the hotel. That is important, because the cell service is also spotty there.

My wife and I stayed here on Valentine's Day and we had a nice time.

The room was nice and clean, and laid out perfectly. Hot water and the shower felt great. Comfortable bed as well.

I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons:

      - There was one very small trash can for the whole room. They should either include two trash cans or make the one can larger. We had to leave the trash left over from our dinner on the floor because it would not fit in the trash can.

      - My wife tried the breakfast and said it was horrible. She couldn't even eat the eggs because of the taste. She then tried some cereal and milk from a carton but the milk was spoiled. I had some fruit and it was ok.

Other than that, it is a very nice hotel and I would consider it again in the future.
