Hotel staff are very nice and helpful. Bed was fairly comfortable but no refrigerator in room. The bathroom was ugly to my standards. When it rains you can hear in your room hiting the cooling system outside your window...I can even hear it with my head phones on. Free internet though, which was nice.

Older hotel that has been revamped. In very good condition. Excellent customer service. Great rooms. Very sound proof for being so close to the airport.  Also they allow dogs! I took my two family members. Cost $50 extra. Parking lot is secure and they do have roaming security. Internet was free.

My only complaint, hence why it didn't get a 5 star rating - Water reduction devices on sink. The shower has enough pressure, but the sink is a joke. I wasted more water trying to wash the soap and dirt off my hands than if they hadn't placed that ridiculous device on there.

Poor room; running toilet; room smelled like mildew (because water lying in the a/c unit, could hear it every time unit kicked on which was cycling every 6.9 minutes it seemed; very annoying) they give you one set of ear plugs and eye mask in a two person room? Plus a air spritzer I guess to cover the mildewy smell...room was right next to interstate, fortunately were used to that sound from living near one so not a big deal but be wary if you want quiet, get west facing room...bed is comfortable :)

I kinda got lost trying to get to the hotel but when i found it i was quite pleased. The outside lot was full but it was clean. I didnt see any trash anywhere. Good! The receptionist was very nice, fast and informative. She told me where everything was located in the hotel and even gave me free parking which by the way is $12 bucks a day.  she welcomed me to Atlanta and handed me a sheet that listed all of the area restaurants and bars. The room was very clean and cozy. i had a king size bed that was absolutely divine after a long flight. Internet was free and i was surprised. i had stayed at another hotel chain a year before and they charged for internet and even to print. This was all free at the Crowne. YAY! i was able to finish up my homework assignments with no problems in the business center. I was expecting the worst because of the low price i paid but i was dead wrong. This place was excellent. Only gripe was that the doors to the rooms are not heavy enough to block out the hallway noise. You will hear all the doors on the floor slamming and also you can hear people's conversations like they were in the room with you. I will stay again and was quite pleased with this hotel's atmosphere, pricing and service.

This hotel is not up to the Crowne Plaza standards. The rooms need to be upgraded! The very old TV was broken and a new one delivered. The bathroom sink was stopped up. The showerhead was barely hanging on and the basin was nasty and moldy. Do not be deceived by the nice lobby or Crowns Plaza name....I'm sure the Motel 6 has better and cleaner rooms!

Stayed here when I was in Atlanta. The hotel is decent and the staff is okay. The beds and furnitures are comfy. They have good water pressure and temperature in the shower and my room was provided with plenty of soap and shampoo. The TV was a little older and unlike the other Crowne Plazas I have stayed at, this one didn't have microwave or refrigerator.  Fitness center is old and machines have seen better days, but they have free wi-fi which is always nice.

I used 7500 airline miles and paid an additional $75 to stay here - booked and paid a month in advance. Called the day of my flight to ensure our room would be available despite a late arrival. When I got there after midnight, my room had been given to someone else and there were no other rooms available. So there I stood, with my baby in my arms, and about 6 other disgruntled passengers in the same boat. The front desk person said that "all hotels in Atlanta are sold out" so I panicked for a while until one of the other passengers found rooms at Holiday Inn Express (which was LOVELY in every way). I can't believe the greed - why would a hotel sell rooms that were already pre-paid for?

The upside? The Crowne Plaza did send the shuttle to take us to the other hotel, and they paid for my room at the Holiday Inn. I was contemplating upping their stars to 2 for that but I'm so mad about my already-paid-for room being given away that I just can't bring myself to do it.

Hotel was easy to get to. Wife and I stayed had a room that was upgraded while we were in Atlanta staying with family. Dinner in the restaurant was decent. Hotel has a pool but it was a little chilly when we were at the hotel to go swimming. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and knowledgeable.

So, I will admit, I was a little skeptical about staying at a Crowne Plaza, but to be honest, I was pleasantly surprised.  So, first of all, there is a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel.  When I arrived, the lady at the front desk was just soooo nice and pleasant...just the kind of welcome you need when you have been traveling all day.  She was quite happy to give me some toiletries I had forgotten at home.  I made my way up to my room, which was pretty spacious.  I had a king size bed with some very attractive bedding and perfectly comfy pillows.  It was pretty obvious that the rooms had been newly updated, including the bathroom (some of the pics on here have to be old because they have nice new TV and much nicer bedding than what is shown--I should have taken some pics).  The drains were a little slow both in the bathtub and the sink, but I loved the lit magnifying mirror--come on, don't all women?!  And, did I mention free wifi?!

Room disappointments...no free bottled water (don't most places at least give you 1 or 2 bottles?) and there was no mini bar, which I prefer to shove a few leftovers or snacks in to keep cool.

And, next, food in the hotel...so, I liked the bar and you can get decent food in the bar.  There is also a restaurant that offers a buffet or a menu.  I found the buffet disgusting and overpriced.  The salad bar and the desserts were an absolute tragedy.  Positives...the sweet tea was ghettofabulous but who doesn't have good sweet tea in Atlanta--that is one of the perks I love about Atlanta.  I did not order off the menu but it seemed a bit overpriced too.

Overall, I would stay here again.   I ended up here because I had a meeting at the hotel for  a weekend.  No worries.  You will be comfortable and the staff will be pleasant.  Other things to know...if you want to go play downtown, take the shuttle back to the airport and then ride MARTA.  The hotel shuttle runs until about 2:30am and so does MARTA. So, you will not be tucked away from all the fun.

Needed a room for the night for my earlier departure from ATL, picked this place up on hot-wire and was pleasantly surprised.
The room was clean and modern, the building itself has been there for quite sometime and was in pretty good shape.
The only problem I had was I needed an early shuttle for a 530 flt and that wasn't available. ATL is a mega airport and I wasn't looking to stand in line in security for an hour and miss my flight.
They were nice enough to call me a cab and it was like 10 bucks total so that was fine.

All of you in corporate America, or management will understand this review...

I was sequestered like a prisoner for 5 days, by the airport in Atlanta for management training that we all have to go through.  Although I have heard that Atlanta has some kicking nightlife and awesome food, the only thing I got to see on my trip was a Ruby Tuesday's, Target, and this hotel.  I will spare you the deets on the Ruby Tuesday's and Target.

I arrived on Sunday, as this Crown Plaza has a free shuttle, which was nice, but I had to melt in the blazing sun for 20 minutes for it to come.  Check in was a breeze, and I was given early check in, on the 3rd floor.  I really wasn't expecting anything too exciting, since corporate booked the room, but the hotel was nice.  They had a nice bar area, outdoor area to have drinks, gym, and both indoor and outdoor pool.

My room was fine (comfy beds)clean, ect, but they had these tiny pillows, and NO FLAT SCREEN TV!

I had dinner there twice (great crab cake sandwich and excellent blu burger) everything actually I had there was awesome!  Good wine menu, and the service was super nice.  The absolutely best DESSERT I had was the peach cobbler with ice cream--had to splurge one day, due to my brain about to explode!

Other than that, from a conference aspect, they provided us with an array of breakfast items, snack items, and lunch items that were all great!  We had healthy options, and not so healthy options, and the service was on time, and couldn't have been better.

Free Wi Fi as well, def. plus

Other than the flat screen tvs, which really bugged me, I would highly suggest this place for a training, if you are looking to be outside the hustle and bustle of Atlanta.

It was an adequate layover hotel.  We got in almost an hour late & it was a short night.  Called for pickup from the airport & the van was there within 5 minutes.  Hotel is undergoing a remodel/upgrade now.  We got an upgraded room & all I can say is I would not have liked to see the before room.  It was a "gilded lily".  Pretty bed linens & ok toiletries.  Nice big flat screen tv.  But the tub looked dingy.  Magnifying mirror was mounted too high on the bathroom wall.  The pillows were ginormous.  Luckily I didn't get a crick in my neck from sleeping on it.

One awesome thing about the hotel that I haven't seen in 23 years of flying & staying at hotels; the clerk behind the desk was in a wheelchair.  I think it is awesome that this hotel hires & employs a person with a physical challenge.

Made a reservation here the day before-
it was a piece of cake.
And if you need it, call ahead-
they`ll let you check out late.

    The breakfast buffet was pricey,
but had a wide selection to try.
Divided into hot and cold items,
    you`ll find something you like.

    The airport shuttle is convenient,
but you pay for non-garage parking.
Overall it was a good experience,
so the sketch area doesn`t deserve snarking.

I had to re-warm my review up from the previous rant. I was very frustrated with the hotel upon my first arrival, the wait to check in felt like a punishment even though I was a prepaid guest.

However, I was taken care of and had a room on the 10th floor!, nice views of the city, and the room was spacious and modern. The hallway was too damn cold though, what is up with that?

I had a drink at the bar with my friend, and it was reasonably priced. The buffet was was decent, but I guess you pay for it unless you have a cupon, it was worth since I was hungry and the food was exceptionally good for Hotel breakfast.

The room key check in card is a hassle getting out at times, and the room service was off a little bit, but overall I knew I had to update my review after the last friendly encounter I had with the woman at the front desk. Very friendly and hospitable!

    a okay with me

After 30 hours of travel including overnight on the floor (like a dog :-)) at EZE in Buenos Aires and then 13 hours on a plane, the Crowne Plaza was just fine. It's the overflow hotel for Delta missed connections so Delta paid and they should have given how massively they f*cked up my weekend.

Having said that, my observation and firm conviction is that adversity is the creator of our greatest experiences and ultimately our fondest memories. Silver linings appear at the most unexpected times and they are a gift to be treasured, always.

I was really too delirious to pay much attention to the amenities. It's worth noting that the positive attitude and efficiency of the front desk at midnight was greatly appreciated.

My level of dissatisfaction with this location cannot be expressed highly enough. After opting out of incidentals, we were still overcharged $100. This, along with their deplorable event experience for our conference in general, leads me to suggest another facility for any and all endeavors near the Atlanta airport.

Horrible service, gave away our room even though we called ahead to tell them we were coming late, charged us for an extra room( we had 4 people but they only had a 1 bed room) so they made us pay for another so no one would have to sleep on the floor. Bathroom was not well maintained and the people at the front desk were not helpful. Definitely not worth the $100, or should I say $200.

While this was not my worst experience as a guest, it was close. I ended up having to call corporate to get LOCAL calls removed from my bill. The desk clerk was the single rudest person I encountered the entire weekend. (A young man, whose name began with "A" - he also gave me replacement keys without verifying my identity)

The elevators were barely functional, the lunch buffet was unpleasant at best, and the handicapped accessible elevator went out on Friday, leaving anyone with mobility issues out of luck if they wanted to access anything on the lower floor.

Not only will I not be staying here again, I highly suggest you don't either. Also - Scott Toilet paper? Seriously?

I didn't stay here by choice, but after our flight had mechanical issues which resulted in us missing our connection, the Crowne Plaza was the hotel Delta put us at to quickly rest our eyes before our flight at the crack of dawn.

I must say that I was impressed with the Crowne Plaza. It's not a hotel I would seek out, but it does the trick if you need a place to rest your head. The bar serves decent food and I especially enjoyed their french fries. I also was appreciative that they actually serve food until Midnight, otherwise we would have gone without lunch or dinner that day!

The rooms are decent. The beds aren't incredibly comfortable but I was so exhausted, I was asleep the minute I hit the pillow. I like the little additions they do, such as place a kit of "relaxation" on the bed which includes a calming spray and some calming and reviving lotions.

If you need a place to stay that's close to the airport, this is your spot!

Not quite up to Crowne Plaza standards. While traveling in town for business I had to stay two nights at the Crowne Plaza. My room appeared to be ok until I started to settle in. There was a used wash cloth hanging from the shower curtain rod. One of the four towels had a large black hair on it. ESPN channel didn't work. The ice machine on my current floor level and the floor below did not operate.  The hotel has potential but does not meet the standards of this caliber of hotel.

The place was clean and the staff very friendly. I love that it's so close to the airport for convenience, but the downside to that is that you can hear the flights coming and going at all hours. The staff was helpful in helping me book a cab for evening touristy stuff.

The restaurant "bentons grill" had pretty good food and a good wine selection. A fine place to eat if you're too tired or lazy to seek out food elsewhere.

Good location near airport. Nice decor. Customer service is 50/50 some nice and some quite rude as if we are putting them out by being there. Dirty sheets with human stains. 2 of them.
We were there for a work conference. The manager comped the room one night.
The meeting rooms were nice. The lunch was clean and nice.

First of all I can't really complain because I booked with employee rates and therefore only paid 40 per night plus parking. Paying for parking this far outside the city was a little ridiculous but I won't complain. The hotel was clean and nice but not quite what I would expect for the normal cost of a room here. Otherwise can't really complain. Comfortable bed for sure and good night sleep two nights in a row. Although I will say that the noise level was a bit high. You could hear people moving around upstairs and down the hallway a bit more easily than I would have expected at a nice hotel

A great bet if staying near the area. There's a restaurant onsite, but it's nice not having to take a cab here from the airport.

Something about the random loiters made me feel as if I couldn't just get up and walk around the neighborhood after sunset.

The rooms were decent, but I prefer something with better noise insulation. I was close the elevator, and I heard it ding throughout the night not to mention unruly children running up and down the hallway. All the amenities I like in a hotel were present, and minus the noise, it was a fine stay.

This may not be my top choice if I'm back in the area. If convenience is what you need (and a pool), this is a good choice.

We purchased the rooms on booking.com for $82 dollars a night. So that was pretty good. Check in was quick & effortless. The rooms were decent & clean. What I don't like is that to enter the elevator we needed our room key. To enter the parking lot we needed our key. To exit the parking lot we needed the key. That was a headache!!!!!! For the price it's a nice place.

You get what you pay for.

You pay a little but more to stay here than the lower end chains. But you pay less than premier chains. The service and amenities are in line with what I expect to pay.

The restaurant is appropriately priced for a major city, airport hotel. Same goes for the bar. That means it's over priced compared to a regular restaurant a few miles away from airport - but you are paying for convenience. The food is good. You can eat healthy (big plus for me). The service is typical for speed (little slow), but very polite and I will even write affable.

I have been here for corporate events. The staff is helpful. If they make a mistake, they will strive to make it right.

If I am flying out of Atlanta and need to stay overnight before my flight, I would stay here and park my car here.

If I am planning a conference or event, I would definitely use this hotel.

If I just need a good hotel in Atlanta, I would make this one of my choices, but shop around.

Hotel is located right off the exit, which is a plus. The hotel parking lot is large, but still not enough parking to accommodate the guests. The night I stayed was for an event, which was being held in the hotel. There was also a conference being held there too. The hotel was nicer than it looks on the outside. I personally thought the exterior looked dated, but the inside is updated. The lobby is inviting. Most of my time was spent in the ballroom for an event. The ballroom was nice and decorated beautifully. The event didn't have open bar, but the hotel bar was available and a bit pricey. The shower was clogged and we called the front desk and they sent someone immediately. The handyman fixed it in less than 5 minutes. No real complaints other than the parking fee, which I don't think should be a charge when there is no garage.

We booked this room from our Priceline app after landing in Atlanta from Amsterdam & Italy. All we wanted to do was shower!

Without having any luggage with a 19 hour layover wasnt exactly ideal. However, this hotel has great options for travelers!

    1) Free shuttle! We called the hotel and he told us to wait for them in zone 2 and there was a shuttle every 10 minutes! (true story)

    2) Someone at the aiport explained we had to ride a shuttle from the international area to the domestic side to catch THAT zone 2 shuttle. Be alert. This is a HUGE airport and it was so big, we drove PAST the hotel we were staying in just to get to the area where we caught the shuttle to get to it. lol.

    3) We asked a place to buy toothbrush/toothpaste (at least!) and they gave us each one for free, very lovely.

    4) FREE WIFI!!!!!!!!

    5) Bathroom had normal amenities: shampoo, conditioner, lotion and 3 serenity lotion/creams/ sprays by the bed, nice touch. no shower cap however. Without having all my normal toiletries I wasnt about to get my hair wet with no antifrizz in the middle of the humidity. (that's just crazy)

    6) very lovely hotel on the inside, looks like it was renovated. Very nice staff also. We wanted to catch the MARTA and they told us best thing was to just ride the airport shuttle bk to the airport, and catch it there - MARTA was $2.50 per stop basically. So a round trip ticket cost us $14 - (i think they charged us extra for the card we didnt already posses perhaps? didnt question it, just appreciated the convenience.

Overall: Great location- walked to the Waffle House, about a 5 min. walk or less. super convient to Ruby Tuesday's, Spondivits (bar) and McDonald's and of course Waffle House (yum).

Nice Crown Plaza near ATL. Check in was efficient and I was greeted as a platinum member, upgraded, and bonus points.

Nice comfy rooms, clean. the Platinum lounge was nice with free drinks from 5-8 and appetizers, with a very friendly attendant.

Shuttle to airport or a short drive to the rental car center. Nice place to stay the night before your flight leaves.

Dinner and drinks at the bar was decent -typical crown plaza fare which was reasonably priced.

    Under $150 a night
