Much more affordable than other hotels in Buckhead, and well worth the stay. The hotel is very clean, quiet, and has an attentive, helpful staff.
It has free, easy-access parking, as well as free high-speed Internet access. It also offers a free continental breakfast, but not just bagels, pastries and fruit., but sandwiches, a waflle maker, cereals and eggs. And the best part - free massages on Wednesday night! Well worth the $129 per night, and so much better than the Grand Hyatt right around the corner.
But the best part about the hotel? The great water pressure in the shower!

This is the first hotel I have ever stayed in that blocks adult content on the internet. What I decide to look at on the internet on my time and on my personal computer is my business. I don't need hotel owners to decide what appropriate content for me to view and I don't buy their "its for security reasons" line of bullshit.

Misleading photos - it's wedged in between buildings on a busy street. Free parking is good. Room was clean but compact, and the bed was plush and comfortable. Our room had no bath towels! They brought some quickly on request, but that's a considerable oversight. Breakfast was inedible - rubber hard-boiled eggs, sugar- and carb-loaded items galore, prepackaged quiche with more flour than eggs, plastic plates...fine for some people, but not for a food snob like me. It did the job, but the location on a main street (not far from the porn shops) and the squished feeling make this a one-time stop.

Average room with adequate furnishings. The towels need to be replaced. They are very thin and discolored. They recently did some remodeling but chose terrible colors and designs. The bathroom light fixture was broken and we found dirty mop water rings in the sink and tub. The breakfast was surprisingly good. Don't understand why the rates have skyrocketed. I have stayed in this hotel many times over the past few years. This stay was very expensive for the type of hotel it is. Probably wont return. BTW, I am a Marriott rewards customer and was also disappointed with the property.

The location is great right in front of Fogo De Chao in Buckhead. As soon as I walked in the front desk person was cheerful and went out of the way to see if he could help with directions, tips. The hotel like many other Fairfield's I have stayed at , has a small pool for relaxing (I must remember to pack a swim trunk when I stay at Fairfield) Free Internet and free breakfast.
Extremely reasonable price for this neighborhood. Comfortable beds and good old TV ( not flat panel yet) On a whim I felt like eating a banana and wanted directions to the grocery store. The front desk said they could get me one from the breakfast kitchen and they did. That single act wowed me as it saved me time and the fact that a employee felt empowered to do this bowled me over.
That single Banana may have gained this customer for life for the Fairfield.

I stay at a lot of Marriott brands, and this hotel is a DUMP. Nasty old carpet, the slowest elevators in the history of the world, SMALL cramped bathrooms. The pillows are all lumpy and understuffed, there is a kitchenette, but no supplies at all despite several cabinets to search through in vain. I was scheduled to stay here 5 nights, but I'm moving after the 2nd.
I will say the staff was very nice at checkin, otherwise I would have only given one star.

I came because it was very cheap. Stayed awake because of the noise.
Its just a pretty standard hotel. The experience kinda sucked. Mostly because they gave us someone else's room. It really seem like the guy left to get some ice and we walk in right after. First time I've ever gotten a completely used room. The security guard outside was talking loud as shit about some shit. He was very annoying. Wifi was really slow and kept cutting out. Boooo this place.

WOW!! I have read some of the reviews and I am very surprised, but really nothing should surprise me with dealing with others.
This was my second stay at this location and just like before it was excellent.The rooms were clean, wifi worked with no issues and the location is great... We were close to the interstate, 2 doors down from a night spot and 10 + restaurants within walking distance. Shopping is less than 10 minutes away and they have a car service available. If you need transportation there is an Enterprise car rental next door. Also,
if your a night owl like us, you can hit Waffle House at 3am 1 block away.
The reason I could not give them 5 stars is that the Jacuzzi was not working again, the pool is pretty small and this place was not cheap. $179 per night.... I usually go for deals, but this was last minute work and play thing....
Front desk was very nice, checked us in fast, breakfast is good and check out was great... (They even called for a taxi for us)...
I will be staying again, but will find a deal next time.... I try to never pay over $100 per night... To me there is no reason to pay over that if there is not a beach....
I hope Marriott reads the other comments and responds, because I am a silver and gold member of other rewards and would hate to have had those experiences.

Before you read my story, I should mention the following observations:
The hotel is in a great location, it is clean, the rooms are literally nothing interesting as it's just a room with off-white walls and some furniture stuck in there.... very much the minimum. Read on to find out about the rest of my experience.
This is the story of my trip to the "Fairfield Inn & Suites Atlanta Buckhead" hotel over the past weekend. Needless to say I found the service to be inadequate and ultimately useless when I needed it most. I was misled by both the representative at the hotel and the support representative and ultimately ended up sleeping on the floor of my hotel room so that my very pregnant sister in law could sleep in the only bed. I would have been fine with this had there really been nothing the hotel could have done to help me..... but as you read on I think you will agree that it was not the case- that in fact they had other rooms available and simply refused to provide me with one of them.
First of all, it's important to know that I am a Gold rewards member and have spent over 150 nights in Marriott hotels over the past two years, so I expect good service and appreciation for my business (there are lots of other choices out there). When I originally planned this trip I reserved a room with a single King bed because it was only supposed to be my wife and I with our two small sons. At the last minute it was decided that my sister-in-law, who is 8.5 months pregnant, had to come along with us. When we arrived I explained our situation to the representative at the counter and requested a different room with either A. Two beds or B. a Suite with a couch. I made this request in order to be sure that my sister-in-law had enough room to sleep comfortably since she is pregnant.
I was informed that the hotel was completely booked and that there was no way to upgrade me or change me to another room. I begged and pleaded but to no avail.... so I spoke about it with my family upstairs in our room and it was decided I would just sleep on the floor. The next thing I did was go downstairs to request some additional blankets, for my pallet on the floor, and when I arrived at the desk I was behind another couple who was just arriving. Lo and behold I overheard the representative offer them a free upgrade to a suite and then she asked them to pick a floor since there were suites available on every floor of the hotel. WHAT?!?
At this point I was bothered by the incredibly poor service I received and raised the issue again with the representative from the hotel. She informed me that she could not upgrade me since I used points to book my room in the first place. It would seem to me that I would get better service for using points, since I am obviously loyal to the brand, but that is apparently wrong.
I decided that she would be of no help since she had repeatedly denied me assistance. I took the blankets up to my room and promptly dialed the Marriott Gold Rewards support line. I had been listening on hold for a few minutes about Marriott's "World Class Support" when a support associate answered the phone.
I informed the support associate about my dilemma and told her the entire story so she agreed to call the hotel for me and see what was going on. About 15 minutes later I received a call back from support and was told that there were no rooms available, suites or otherwise, for which they could upgrade me. I explained my frustrations and pointed out the fact that I was very much sure there were suites available on every floor (since that is what I witnessed at the counter about 45 minutes earlier). She agreed that it was strange what I had witnessed but informed me there was nothing she could do. I told her I was exhausted from dealing with it and I would just sleep on the floor.
We made it through the night but I didn't sleep at all (ever tried sleeping on a hotel floor? not good). I should mention that I was a platinum member all of last year and part of 2011 and I have been gold all of this year but I have never once called my "premiere" customer service number for anything. This was my first experience needing service as "an important part of the marriott family" and they failed miserably. I am sure now that I will not be staying at this hotel again and I will pursue my options for other hotel chains. I will be traveling a lot over course of my career since I am a consultant but I will not be staying with Marriott unless I have some drastic, unavoidable need.
It's more likely that the gold member support line offers "World Class Reservation Taking" but it certainly doesn't offer much by way of actual support.
Don't expect much from this hotel if you need anything more than just a bed to sleep in.

I was very pleased with this hotels service. The rooms and hotel are well kept. The staff is friendly. The breakfast was normal hotel breakfast but well maintained and monitored.
Great location. Not far from downtown or Lenox mall.

There are moments in your life when you can either be homeless or stay at an affordable hotel. This Marriott has a great nightly rate, and they offer complimentary parking, in-room wifi, and breakfast. The rooms are typical sizes and are decently furnished. However, if you're secretly carrying around a lot of dough and don't want to keep it on you, don't plan on keeping it in the room safe--there isn't one. The staff is also extremely hospitable and helpful.
If you're into shopping. The hotel is minutes from Lenox Square Mall and Phipps Plaza
*The hotel is a littler farther from downtown Atlanta, so you'll need to negotiate the consistent traffic.
*Bathroom towels are small, thin, and not the softest. But they seem clean and get the job done.

This place has all the looks of a place you would like with very little of the actually quality.
1st- the room we were assigned looked as though someone had just stepped out. Coffee cups scattered about, bed not made, hair in the bathroom, half finished crossword puzzle--the works. We were quickly re-assigned, but the oversight really suggest poor coordination on their part
2nd- The wifi sucked. If you could connect to the internet it would drop within moments. It was more of an inconvience than a help
3rd. The overnight security guard stood outside the enterance all night and had an angry cell phone conversation. While i love to yell at people over the phone too, he seems to have been unaware or unconcered that we were a mere one floor above and could hear everything. I had the craziest dreams trying to zone that out
On a slight postive note the breakfast in the morning was better than average: of course your normal waffles, but they had good muffins, fruit cups, a variety of jucies and cereals...bascally all the not immediately pershiable food you could ask for.
If you get a deal then go for-otherwise look elsewhere

Wow - for the price you can't beat this.
The staff have a great rapport with each other which spills over into their friendly customer service, and housekeeping were amazing ! Why? They dropped my toothbrush on the floor (I'd never have known) and because of this, replaced my toothbrush and compensated me - amazing honestly or what ?
The location is out of town, but in a great shopping and restaurant area. Great breakfast, free parking and free WIfI PLUS cookies and popcorn to welcome you on your afternoon arrival :)

After 18 years of sisterhood, my group of college friends decided to visit 2 of our sorority sisters in Atlanta this passed weekend. From the start, prior to checkin, Keysha, one of the members of management, was immensely helpful. From sending credit card authorization forms to giving us help with local highlights to add to our itinerary.
Upon our arrival, she tended to us with beyond exceptional service and committed to insuring our stay would be a memorable and it was! Note that there were numerous events happening last weekend and the hotel was BUSY and usually customer service takes a backseat but it didn't here! Keysha maintained her professionalism, was gracious and fluid even though there was an increase in her foot traffic.
Kudos and thanks to her and her team!

Location, location, location. Very nice hotel, in a great neighborhood with lots of shops and restaurants. You will not be board. I was very pleasantly surprised that although my room faced a bust restaurant and was just above the front door. I slept through the night, which is unheard of for me as I am a super light sleeper. Breakfast is typical hotel breakfast. Room is comfortable. Lots of parking. Internet definitely works!

Fairfield Inn was the most reasonably priced for the location. There were definitely some pros and cons. The pros were that the staff was very friendly. Whenever I needed extra accommodations, the staff was expedient about handling my requests. Also, the night that I arrived, they provided me a complimentary gift bag that contained a bottled water and a map of tourist attractions in the area.
They also provide a complimentary shuttle service within a 10 mile radius of the area. There is a night club within that radius, that I was able to visit. Overall, I was happy with my experience. The staff was friendly. They have complimentary breakfast, which had a good variety of food. I went downstairs a couple of times to have breakfast, and the dining room was clean and enjoyable.
The rooms, however, don't have microwaves or refrigerators in them. That was a little difficult when I wanted to stay in to eat. But, being that I wasn't in the hotel a lot of the time I was visiting, it wasn't too big of a deal for me. Overall, a relatively good hotel for a very good price. I believe I paid about $89 a night in April of last year. For the price, the hotel is definitely a bargain. And, I'd recommend staying here and would inevitably stay here again, myself.
