My favorite place to stay when meeting close to the airport.  Very attentive staff in the dinning area.  Speaking of dinning, the meal prices are surprisingly very reasonable when eating at a hotel.

Would absolutely recommend. Clean, comfortable, very helpful friendly staff. We had an emergency stay here in Atlanta and everyone in the hotel has been accommodating and helpful. The beds are wonderful, and it was really nice to come back and be able to get food and a local beer on draft. I will stay here again!

This is a great place to stay! The staff welcomes you as though you're a long-lost friend or a member of the family. I'm not talking about just the front desk (although special mention goes to Dee!) Everyone I met who worked there made me feel so warm and welcome. Southern hospitality is alive and well! The room was clean, fresh and inviting. The bed was so comfortable and there was absolutely zero noise bleed.

There is only ONE area in which improvement is needed. That area is in the restaurant. They need more employees. The wait for a table, for service, and then for food was really unacceptable. I'm sure the complete reason for this was lack of service staff. Those that were there were still very friendly, kind, and apologetic even though they were completely overwhelmed.

i am giving this hotel a poor review due to the hotel management. i am a hilton honors member and wanted to get some work done in the lobby. i was staying at a friend's house in atlanta but the hilton was a convenient place to get caught up. the manager (at least that's how he introduced himself) said if i wasn 't staying there i would have to leave. he had no interest that i was a hilton honor member and just wanted to get some work done in the lobby.  first time i was kicked out of a hotel in 59 years.

After working a long overnight shift for inventory- I got back to the hotel at 8am and asked for a late check out. Front desk assured me 1oclock would be fine and they would let housekeeping know. Exactly 12pm housekeeping was banging on my door. After telling them I had a late checkout they still came knocking right at 1258pm. On my way out I asked the front desk if they were sold out for the night- they weren't. It's unfortunate front desk and housekeeping are not working together as a team! Also the pool was not operational during my stay. Only two good points - close the airport & easy to find location.

The this review is for the conference facilities of the hotel. The meeting room was clean and well-equiped. Hotel areas are kept clean and free of any clutter.

Flip flopping between three and four stars on this one, but ended up taking the high road!  Why four stars?  Really nice property, well appointed room, everything felt modern and clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful despite the fact that I walked in (late at night) when they were trying to accommodate a herd of disgruntled travelers who had been bumped from a connecting flight.  

Why the three stars?  A few little annoyances, like a bed frame that jumped out and kicked my knee (Watch out for that - really hard to see!), not very good coffee in the room, and a very slippery-sloped bathtub floor that nearly got me twice.  Don't consider myself a particularly clumsy guy, but near got injured several times this morning!  

Free airport shuttle every half hour.  Nice lobby and amenities you expect at a Hilton Garden Inn.   Would hesitate to stay there again... would just wear knee pads!

I arrived at the Hilton Garden Inn after a long 2 day drive from Detroit as I'm in the process of relocating here. I was originally booked at the Double Tree, but when I arrived there the power was out. Rather than wait around for the power to be restored I headed across the street to the Hilton Garden Inn. I was greeted with a smile by Debra, but she informed me that they were completely sold out. As I would about to leave and look for another place to stay I decided to fire up the Hilton Honors app (Diamond Member) and do a search so I could save time instead of ending up at other sold out properties. Well what do you know? The very Hilton Garden Inn I was standing in showed availability. I snagged a room and while Debra insisted that the place was sold out, she figured out a way to get me a room based on another reservation that unfortunately had a declined credit card. She went over and above to help me out and was courteous and patient through the entire process.

I believed her when she said that she was sold out, but due to the way the system was setup these reserved rooms were showing as available because they hadn't actually cleared yet. Luckily for me! Once we got past that, Debra went out of her way to help me with dinner suggestions, and making sure that I was able to take advantage of all the amenities that this property offered. She made a long day seem like it was no big deal at all. Thank you!

As far as the hotel goes. It was clean and no issues with the room. As with most hotels I wish the wifi was faster, but it was free and performed good enough for a weekend of light work.

I have to stay in a hotel one more time before moving into my new place and this will be my first choice.

My room ran about $130/night.  The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful from those at the desk to the shuttle drivers.  The hotel has full amenities with 2 pools - 1 inside and 1 out.  The food in the lobby restaurant was very good.  Rooms are very nice although you can hear stairwell doors closing through the walls so location may matter.  Very clean. The beds are very comfortable.   Plenty of parking.  Easy access to interstates.  This is a great place to stay if you are looking to be near the airport but want a nice, clean, safe place.

Great accommodation, clean facilities, the staff is wonderful. From the front desk to the grill staff (Ashley) to Erne (sales process 101) who displayed customer centric and a servant leader spirit by going above and beyond and even volunteering to go to greater length to ensure that I had color copies of an important document I needed that day.

I am delighted and could not ask for a better place to call home when I am visiting Atlanta. I strongly recommend you use their services for your lodging and conference needs.

I will never stay at this hotel AGAIN!

RAYMOND NEVILLE is extremely rude and makes the company look horrible.  THANKS TO RAYMOND NEVILLE I WAS LEFT HOMELESS! YES HOMELESS.

I was staying at this hotel for business and my company's finance department took care of all the booking.  When I first was trying to check into my hotel, a different gentlemen other than Raymond told me that the authorization form hadn't been received and that I needed to contact my rep for approval. So I called her and she spoke to the gentlemen who said everything was a go! After staying 3 days I checked out and left one of my suitcases because I would be checking back in two days later. Done, no issue there.

Upon returning to the hotel to check in I called to double check with the hotel that the reservation was complete and ready for me to check in. The representative assured me I wouldn't have any issues because I would be checking in very late around 4 AM. Again, he assured me I wouldn't have any issues and that he notated it as well.

Now, it's 4AM and I am trying to check in because i have a flight to catch in the later morning so I was exhausted and ready to get some sleep after being on the road all day.  

RAYMOND NEVILLE was the rep checking me in and refused to check me in because he couldn't find the authorization form.  I then assured him that everything should be there somewhere because I was staying here earlier in the week.  I even had him go in the back and claim my luggage which I had documentation for.  BUT HE STILL REFUSED TO CHECK ME IN. As a loyalty customer I was outraged at the attitude and customer service of RAYMOND NEVILLE.  What more proof do you need? My suitcase was stored at the hotel so that proves I was staying there, I also told him and he saw the previous dates I stayed there but REFUSED to provide my room which was non refundable.  

THANKS TO RAYMOND NEVILLE I WAS LEFT HOMELESS! YES HOMELESS.

I couldn't call the office at 4AM to handle the issue. Who has an office open at that hour?

SO the HILTON GARDEN INN will no longer have me as a loyalty customer nor my friends or family all thanks to RAYMOND NEVILLE.

Hotel was very nice looking and very convenient however i would not recommend wandering too far away from the hotel as it is in a rough part of town. When we asked for a taxi to go into atlanta, the hotel called a very sketchy taxi who charged us a ridiculous amount for a very short drive. When we returned around 4 pm, our room had still not been cleaned and at around 5 the cleaning people finally came. The next day our flight did not leave until 5 pm so we asked about late checkout and they told us that we could stay until 1230 which was fine however at about 10 am the cleaning people came knocking on our door asking if we were checking out which i found ridiculous because they hadnt come until 4 the previous day! The manager was very kind when we voiced our complaints when we checked out, and even gave us a night free, but overall i would recommend staying at a hampton.

The desk staff here is really great, but the hotel itself is by far the worst doubletree branded hotel that I've ever stayed at.... Carpets look like they haven't been changed since the 80's and when I got in this week my bed wasn't even fully made properly (missing sheets - kinda important) Last week when I was here my room service tray stayed outside my room for two days before it was taken away and at breakfast I wasn't even offered coffee or anything and I was completely ignored.

My standards are high because I spend about a hundred nights a year in hotels, but this is just incredibly unprofessional and embarrassing for the double tree brand.

Stayed here one night while I was in Atlanta.  Shuttle service to and from the airport was great!  Once I arrived at the hotel check in was easy and the staff friendly.  The room was standard so not much to speak of there.  The one bright star was ordering dinner in the Lounge.  The waiter was very friendly and the food tasty!

After a long day, my teammates and I wanted a place to spend the night until the next morning. The Hilton Garden Inn was the closest hotel near our area that we read good reviews about. The room cost close to $100 for an overnight stay and was very clean and comfortable.

I would recommend anyone looking for a nice quiet place to stay for the night to spend their night at the Hilton.

After this stay, I've stayed at every Hilton branded hotel in the ATL airport area. This HGI is one of the nicer and affordable options. To compare to the other Hilton properties in the area, it is right up there with the Hampton across the street and pretty much the same price (maybe a $20 difference which of course adds up on a longer stay but I was only there one night.) It is better than the Doubletree (old and outdated) and the Hilton (nice but overpriced).

So if you do stay here, you get the standard HGI amenties for Diamond members are offered (free wi-fi and breakfast). And there's an airport shuttle that runs every 30 minutes. Staff seemed friendly enough and are efficient as I expect for an airport hotel.
Parking can fill up pretty quickly (no spots in the front and had to find the back entrance to get in after going out for dinner.

I'd definitely consider staying here again if I was in ATL and needed to be closer to the airport than downtown.

I arrived with my family to participate in an event that was being held at the hotel. Let me first mention that staff and service were simply amazing. Our overall experience was good. The hotel was clean and smelled nice (very important to me since I hate that "hotel smell") Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. There is a (free) shuttle that goes to and from the airport, which is very nice since I had no intention on purchasing a rental car. The shuttle runs every 30 minutes and even the driver was spirited and up-beat.

However, after a long day of travelling, my family was hungry did not want to journey to far for a nice meal (even though the shuttle would transport us to nearby restaurants). Naturally, our first option was to relax and order some room service, however that plan was soon eliminated because of the mandatory 18% gratuity and $4 delivery fee to all orders. This may seem insignificant, however, feeding a family of four can easily add up to hefty sum.

Therefore, we decided to head down to enjoy the restaurant located in the lobby. Again, great appearance, decent atmosphere, and the menu was suitable to our tastes. The high prices were accommodated by the larger portion sizes and delicious food. Unfortunately, we were waiting almost 15 minutes before some one visited our table to even take the drink order and the waits  were consistent from that point forward. We understand that great food takes time, however, when there are only a few people at the bar and only one other table full of people, why would we have to wait almost 15 minutes before someone visits our table? Long waits seem to be the norm as we experienced the same thing at breakfast the following morning.

I guess it all depends on what we see as important
