I recently visited this property and it was a great experience for a "business hotel."  The property is very new (opened in April 2013) and modern.  The gym is spacious, has good cardio equipment, dumbbells and other equipment so you can stay fit.  The location is very convenient for highway access.  The staff was very friendly (as expected) and the service was wonderful (as usual).

As a Hyatt Gold Passport member, I recommend this hotel over the Hyatt Place property just down the street.  There's noting wrong that that property, but having a newer building is just so much better.  The HVAC unit is quieter (central vs the big chunk of plastic beneath the window at most Hyatt Places) and the in-room TVs have DirecTV (more channels and digital).  Plus, with different types of rooms, upgrades are possible.

The in-unit kitchen and other amenities aren't that important to me, but were nice to see.

When I visit again, I'll definitely compare prices with the Hyatts in the area, but if the Hyatt Place is comparable in cost, I'll for sure pick this property.

To be fair, you can't compare this tier of hotel with the higher level ones - but I might.  Since this just doesn't have the "wow" factor of a Park Hyatt, I can't give it five stars, but with more stays, I may reconsider.  My expectations for business hotels are fairly low.  If this property continues to surprise and delight me, one extra star might be coming.

My thinking:

3-star: basic hotel that is clean and efficient
4-star: an upgrade from standard (new, great value, etc)
5-star: somewhere I can get treated like I'm at a high-end hotel, but at a much better price!

I recently stayed here after an unexpected water outage in my neighborhood, and could not have been more pleased.  The design of the rooms and property in general makes for a very comfortable environment which seemed much more welcoming than other "traditional" hotels.  Rates were very reasonable for everything they offer.  From check in all the way to check out, the entire staff was friendly, professional, and helpful.  If you're visiting the area, do yourself a favor: bypass the obscenely expensive downtown places and stay here!

Clean, sleek and modern.  We stay in a lot of hotels, and this was one of the nicest experiences we have ever had.  The full breakfast with made-to-order omelets each morning was exceptional, and we even had dessert one night without having to go out from the bar.  First time we had been in a hotel that had no room service but you could get what you needed from the bar downstairs by going down to get it yourself.  Kinda nice not to have that extra surcharge and tip to deal with!  The bed was very comfortable and I also liked not having to deal with a bellman as we prefer to move around our things ourselves.  We stayed here four nights for our fall break from school, and I enjoyed the indoor pool each morning too. Location is perfect for shopping, restaurants and theatre, with easy on and off access.  Even though it is right next to the interstate we never heard traffic noises.  A wonderful experience that we will enjoy often.

I frequently Hyatt House and I love this location. I've been to many Hyatt locations, a few San Antonio, several in Houston, Corpus Christi, Austin, but this one it's by far my favorite them all. It's like a vacation in a vacation. It really made my 16 hour drive seen worth it. I could go on and on about this place, but I think the other posts covered most of what I was going to say. Thanks for the hospitality Hyatt, til next time..

Driving down to Florida and found this spot, glad we did. Very friendly front staff, clean hotel, wonderful room, just a king not a suite. Great shower with room for two (Knock Knock) The breakfast was very good as well with made to order omelets, baked goods, fresh fruits, meats cereals, eggs etc...enjoyed our stay and will stay there again.

Man am I glad I finally got to stay in a Hyatt House. My favorite hotel brand and now they have a extended stay hotel which is very nice. There's a descent sized gym and indoor pool. This location is convenient to I-75, 285, the mall, restaurants less than a mile away, a YMCA about 5 miles away, grocery stores, etc. just about everything you need while visiting Atlanta. I also like the fact that you have a stove top for those of us wanting to cook for ourselves. The Hyatt is always above average. Very good staff and omelets are made to your liking at the  complimentary breakfast! I'll be back for sure!

This is what I love about the Hyatt hotel chain...they are the BEST in the business for the money! Where to start...well, when you stay here, it is the home away from home you've been looking for...modern, clean, spacious, near the highway (but you can't hear it), shopping & restaurants a hop away, unparalleled customer service...I could go on...I have had the luxury of staying in many different types of rooms they offer...they have ranged from $90-130 a night...of course holidays are packed & pricey...and it gets pretty busy on Valentine's Day (no pun intended). Their breakfast is really good so get up early & have them make an omelette for you...this puts the Hyatt Place, further down the street, to shame..there are times, if you are really watching,  when both of them are within a few buckaroos of each other..don't ever change Hyatt House!

Beautiful hotel. We booked the king suite for $138. The family enjoyed the sports room with a pool table and the breakfast was top notch with a lot of hot food choices and an omelet bar. The room and hotel was clean with great upgraded features. Huge shower, comfortable beds! Only issue we experienced in our room was a noisy fridge which we reported to maintenance. Late standard checkout is noon which is nice. We definitely plan to stay here again!

Talk about traveling in style! Hyatt House offers full kitchen and living rooms for the weary traveller or longer staying patron. Either way, all of the details are covered to make you feel like you've rented a high rise condo.

- Free parking
- Free WiFi
- Free breakfast with omelets
- Large, house style rooms
- Short drive to downtown or Atlantic Station
- Check out my photos!

I have stayed at a few Hyatt Hotels recently and have been impressed with the variety if style they offer. I would stay at Hyatt House again, especially because the staff upgraded my room for free and I stayed for less than $100.

DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR- the best value in the area.

Brand new rooms and very well appointed. Modern and clean.
Great workout facility
Free Pool Table
Decent bar

I have to say, this was a very welcome surprise and is my favorite hotel in the area. The sheraton is old (its been remodeled) and the courtyard is getting old too. This place has free breakfast and just overall great value.
