Room ,very clean and nice furniture with flat screen TV and fridge.
Too many pets inside

This hotel is exactly what I expected it to be for the price and the location, by which to say it was clean and adequate. I have a few nitpicks, but since the cost of the hotel was more than affordable, I feel like I shouldn't complain much. The hotel was clean and well-maintained. I would guess it had been renovated in the last few years. The staff was very friendly. The continental breakfast was well-stocked and one of the better ones I've seen in comparable hotels recently. Check-out time was 12, which is nice since many places have check-out at 11 am.

The only thing we were really bummed about was the fact that the pool was closed. It was a little chilly for full-on swimming, but we were looking forward to dipping our toes in, sitting on the deck, or maybe trying out the hot tub (not too cold for that!). The employee at the check-in desk told us the pool would open after Memorial Day. I wish we had known that since the hotel website did not distinguish that it would be completely inaccessible this time of year (mid-April).

What can I say about a La Quinta hotel. It is what it is.
Prices were reasonable and the room was a hotel room. A little dated and could use some touch up, otherwise the A/C worked as did the tv.
The beds are not that comfortable so more than a 2 night stay might be pushing it and the fast food delivery menus that end up all over the floor being pushed under the door might be a little much.
The good news - they had toothpaste at the front desk when I ran out!

Good hotel, clean rooms. Very poor staff and service.

Booked a weekly rate (should be $500 ish). and arrived to discover that i was on a day-to-day rate ($700-ish), and staff at front desk ensures me day-by-day that it will be taken care of and adjusted since I had booked a weekly rate. On the last day (day of check out) they inform me that there is nothing that can be done. Despite staying a 7-days and being under the impression that I booked a weekly rate. I was billed a day-by-day rate, and that's "too bad"- no adjustments can be made.

Becareful not to get tricked as i did.  Other than that, and being led on by the staff that it would be fixed, the room was good.

Our stay was very delightful! Stan, at the front desk was very hospitable. The location was perfect and definitely not far from downtown. We will definitely book again on our next visit. :)

When I was at the check in desk the lady behind the counter was more concerned about having a conversation with the lady who shift she took over and where she was going for her day off . Once she acknowledged me she took my id and checked me in didn't tell me no info about nothing (check out time, where anything is) so I look on my card and it says 522. So I go to my room once ive unloaded my car n put it on the bell cart. Get to room and card doesnt work. So I go back to front desk and im n line behind someone else who is having the same issue.she tells me o I ment 2 put you in 622. Room was hot so I cut air on, clean the mirror needed to be clean but other than that it was ok. Overall is good. Close to perimeter mall, publix, a Marshall, old navy, gigis.

Stayed here recently to attend a wedding nearby. I love that they are pet friendly, so I was able to bring my dog and cat with me! The room was very clean and quite large. There was a fridge and microwave in the room which was a major plus. My only complaint is that breakfast is served very early and ends extremely early, so if you sleep in until 9 a.m., you are out of luck and don't get the free breakfast, that is included with your stay. Even extending breakfast until 10 a.m. or 11 a.m. would have been much better. Pool area was clean and nice as well. If you are staying in the Atlanta area and traveling with your pets, this is a great, affordable place to stay. The rooms are very modern (either the hotel is new or was recently remodeled). Free wi-fi too!

Long story short, it's a nice place.

This is a moderately priced hotel - there's nothing particularly special about it.  The breakfast is well stocked, the parking is plentiful and well lit, the property is well cared for and conveniently located.  

If you get a room that hasn't been used in a while, you can expect a TON of take out menus tossed under the door.  The elevator is quite possibly the slowest in the area.  

It's a La Quinta - it's never going to be high end.  It's clean, spacious, and well cared for.  In terms of value, you get more than you pay for.

Friendly folks, decent room rates and decent rooms with no frills makes this place a decent place to stay. The location is a bit far from downtown Atlanta, about 30 minutes by MARTA. You'll have to have a rental car to take you to the MARTA Station and airport. My room the toilet is a bit hard to flush. The room is comfy with a king size bed and microwave and mini fridge. The free WiFi can be extremely slow to the point of not being useful. There are several dining options around but you still need a car just to grab a bite. They provide free breakfast but its pretty standard stuff, no meat and no fresh egg options.  I think it might be a better option to stay at a fancier place downtown to save the travel time and rental car expenses.

For the first time in my career, I got to stay in a hotel at my company's expense.  Granted, I didn't get to choose where, but all in all- I was familiar with the area, and it was close where I needed to be.

A month before, my boss called the LaQuinta reservation line to get me setup.  He told them we were with UPS, and we should have had a block of rooms.  They played dumb, and transferred us to group sales.  Go figure, when we got connected to group sales, they played dumb too.  So by this time, it was time to call the hotel back.

Thankfully, someone that was smarter and nicer made the reservation.  It was for 3 nights, totaling 212$.  For Sandy Springs, that's not bad at all.

I first arrived Tuesday night, around 10PM.  It should be empty, right?  After realizing it shared the land of 2 other hotels, I thought I would be in for a treat- but I was able to park.  

I then got to the check in, and the guy in front of me was such a pain in the ass, asking every unnecessary question. Dude, get your key and get the hell out of the way.  When it was my turn, it was quick and easy.  

They told me about the breakfast, the wifi, the fitness- I just went for the wifi.  There was only one elevator, but thankfully it wasn't unbearable.

I had room 613.  It seemed clean.  And then when I went to the bathroom and closed the french doors, I saw a pair of gym shorts just hanging there.  And they were 2XL- so I knew it was a big mfer.  With that being said, I slept with one eye open.  At least the bed was comfy.

Speaking of odd, every night I came home, I would get more and more take out menus thrown under my door.  By the end of the stay, I had 13 menus- no joke!

Besides the shorts, my only other complaint was the shower pressure.  I could drool faster than the water came out.  But it cleansed me.  

Great value for a business traveler but there are so many options out there, it would be tough for me coming back- unless it was on the company's dime.

The staff was very friendly, and very busy.  The room was large and well-laid out.  The decor reminded me of a pre-Dot-Com office, which was a nice retro touch.

The toilet had a horrid cloven seat, with no lid.  Aside from that, the bath was nice.

The breakfast was pretty standard, so not great.

Overall... this is a pretty nice Inn. There were just a few things that made my stay slightly aggravating.

First issue: My key card did not want to work. I'm very glad I was traveling with a work colleague, and she was able to get us into the building when my card continually failed to let us in from outside. I literally had to swipe the card 10 times for it to work one night, then the next it didn't work at all. I went down to the front desk, they reset the same exact card. Sigh. It's obviously something wrong with the magnetic strip people. Oh well.

Second issue: Thin walls. I could hear toilets and dogs barking down the hall. That brings me to the third issue...they allow pets at the hotel. Ugh. Annoying.

The continental breakfast was decent enough and the facility is large and I very much liked my room and it had comfy beds. So it wasn't bad. Just a few slight hiccups that made it not a fantastic stay.

Probably the nicest La Quinta I've stayed at. I stayed in the King Suite for a whopping $95 per night. The decor is very nice. The room was fairly clean, random hair here and there...ehhh. Also the hotel was very quiet.

I also liked the equipment in the gym, one of the cycles was broken though.

Staff was friendly. I give this La Quinta 5x5.
