    I have never felt more welcome or taken care of in any hotel I have stayed in as of yet.  We stayed for three days.  The staff gladly drove us to wherever we needed or wanted to be.  Check in and check out went as smooth as butter.  Breakfast was awesome for a "continental" fare.  Thanks so much!

    This was our 2nd time staying here.  Good location, great rate.  Can walk to a Marta, Lennox Square, Phipps Plaza, etc., but they can be a bit of a hike.  Room was nice, with separate room with couch and desk, separated by a small wall - not a door.  
    Would stay here again.

    I was here for a night on business, and it was awesome. The room was huge with a little couch/desk seating area in addition to the bed area. About 10 minutes from downtown depending on traffic, but there's plenty to do right across the street.

    Always a great stay. My company has used this hotel for our conferences for the past ten years and a great relationship has resulted. Oh, and there's a Chipotle right next door! Just what I need after a long-ass flight from San Francisco. :)

    I am an elite member of Marriott and have a certain level of expectation.... however, the experience I had at SpringHill Suites in Buckhead was just unimaginable. First off I had the Assistant Manager was completely rude upon on arrival. He accused me of not having a valid credit card saying "maybe I should get a card that won't be declined", in front of colleagues, and then said "oops I'm on the wrong screen... it works". I WAS SO EMBARRASSED!

    A little later we called down to the front desk to ask which restaurants delivered... the girl who answered the phone was terribly rude... saying she didn't know and hung up! SERIOUSLY!

    I called back and she said, you can come down and look at the book I guess.... and hung up AGAIN!

    The next day, I was in business meetings and have left my DND sign on my door.... only to come back and find the maid HAD come in and cleaned my bathroom... after that I guess she saw the sign and didn't do anything else! I am sure I am not the only one... but I don't LIKE to have people in my room when I am not there, which is why I put the DND sign up. I called down to the front desk and asked for the manager. The same rude girl as before said, they aren't available... and hung up on me! I called back and said I was disconnected.... and she said, no there isn't anyone available. and I said I need to talk to SOMEONE... she transferred me to the same Assistant Manager from when we checked in... his response... "what do you want me to do". I was completely appalled.

    I left that next day and moved to a Hilton hotel. I am VERY unhappy and also send a review to Marriott. If you're looking to be treated badly... go the the Springhill Suites in Buckhead. The hotel is nice, but service is just UNACCEPTABLE!

    Don't do it unless you want to pay $20 a day for parking! The rooms are not all that up to date either.  I would recommend the doubletree in the area. At least you get warm cookies :-)

    This is truly one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had with a major chain. I've stayed at other Springhill locations in Chicago (good) and Tampa (great)...but this is completely unacceptable. The refrigerator was so loud and unrelenting I unplugged it. The bathroom sink doesn't have cold water, the window doesn't have proper shades and the bed is the most uncomfortable I've ever experienced. Add to that the strange smell and noisy people in the hall and I might as well be in some fleabag motel at the side of the road, not in one of Atlantas most exclusive zip codes.

    After a long day and being stuck in an airport for 4 hours I just needed someplace to crash...this isn't it.

    Stayed here 4 times in the past 3 years. Every time something has happened. Ranging from housekeeping theft to an entire hotel without hot water in the mornings. I stay in hotels for my job and in the past year I have stayed at around 40 different hotels. I am a Marriott junkie so typically marriotts/residence inns. It is now 8:00 and I have been waiting over an hour for hot water to start back up again.  Yes that's correct- NO HOT WATER to shower with. They also cleaned my room but took EVERY TOWEL & WASHCLOTH in the room and didn't leave me new ones! I do not know much about the hotel industry from an employees point of view but this is not how you keep guests coming back.

    I stayed here while I was in ATL on business middle of April.

    I was surprised (not in the sense that I thought it would be dirty) but the hotel was very well upkept! If there was a mess somewhere, they were quick to act.

    The staff was always super nice, smiling, and always greeting guests as they walked in. There were times when we would call for the shuttle and it would take about 30-45 minutes and occasionally would get a little rude when we called and asked if the shuttle was on it's way but I have to admit that there were 40 of total in a group going to many different places let alone other guests that were staying in the hotel as well. So I understand at times they were a little testy with some people about calling all the time :) lol

    The food in the moring, although tasty, was always the same with sausage and eggs. Of course, there were bagels, bread for toast, cereal, etc. but when your staying there for 2 weeks, it does get a little boring.

    All in all the establishment was well preserved with all the foot traffic coming in and out, the staff was so helpful and nice!

    I can't wait to stay here again in the near future!!

    Very nice hotel. Quentin was very nice at the front desk. Rooms were clean and so nice. $99.00 for one night which sounds good for sch a nice room but hen you have to pay $20 to park. Pretty crazy if you are already renting a room. They have a pool and a hot tub but as soon as you walk into the room the chlorine fumes will just about kill you. There has to be a better way. Atleast they need t get better ventilation. That was insane. Everyone had red eyes! Other than that I loved our room.

    First time staying at Springhill Suites and overall I'm not impressed.  The rooms are OK, the workout room is tiny as is the pool area, the breakfast is crap and they charge you for parking.  This hotel is in a good location but don't expect it to be an awesome Marriott experience, at least it wasn't for me.

    Antoinette at the front desk was so helpful and friendly.  She checked us in right away and even printed out directions for us. The shuttle driver was very nice too! Great location ! Close to Marta and shopping

    I haven't stayed in a hotel this bad in many years    The only reason we stayed here was because of the Marriott name attached to it but this hotel does not live up to the Marriott standard.  

    The staff was super friendly and helpful.   But being from New York, I'd rather have a great hotel room than a great staff.

    First off,  why do they call this a "Suite".  It's all contained within one room.  (Embassy suites hotel has two rooms to each suite with a door to close the bedroom off from the living room.)   My 2 1/2 year old went to sleep at 9pm so the rest of us had to do the same because there's no door to separate her bed from the rest of us.  The rooms are cramped and old looking.  The pull out couch is lumpy and worn out with no sheets and no pillow.   (Had to call the front desk to get pillows for it). They charge extra fees just to park your car.  This place feels more like a Motel 6 than a Marriott property.  We stayed all week at the embassy suites in Alpharetta and absolutely loved it.   Came here for tonight and now I wish we just stayed where we were.   This hotel is horrible.  Sorry, just being brutally honest.   I wouldn't stay here again.  I'm sleeping on the pull out couch and it's making me itch already.  Don't do it to yourself.  Stay someplace else.

    I stayed here over a week when I visited Atlanta, and it was a great location.

    SUITES
    They are suites, so you get a bedroom and a living room area. Our room had a little wall divider that help segregate the room into two, which makes it look smaller, but is actually pretty functional for when you need to get some work done in the office or living room area while the other person sleeps.

    BEDS
    Down comforters and very comfy.

    LOCATION
    This is the main reason why I loved this hotel. It was center to everything I wanted to do and go. I made reservations for my birthday at Southern Art, and we could almost walk there. The mall was across the street if I needed anything, and the the movie theatres was also walking distance.

    This hotel is in a nice location.  Easy in and easy out ok.    Parking is understandable.   Room is typical of a "Spring Hill Suite",  it serve its purpose well.  Breakfast was ok.   The staff was ok...outside of the "bossip".    The area is typical of Atlanta.....All cars and no consistant sidewalks to Lenox Mall.    Like the fact that Marta is nearby even though i need a car to get anywhere else.    Marriott is the best, always though.

    This has quickly become one of my favorite hotels when I have to travel to Atlanta for business. The staff is superb consistently. The prices are always quite reasonable compared to other choices nearby. The rooms are as expected, while slightly dated they are always very clean. I really enjoy the living room area after a long day of work, and always use the desk area to catch up on work.

    The WiFi has always been reliable (and free), and as I'm here this week they are actually upgrading it to an even higher speed.

    My one downside is that parking in the on site garage is not included - an extra $20 per day is added to your room!

    My sister recently came down to Atlanta from Charlotte on a business trip.  They placed her in this hotel for the work week.  I showed my sister a fun night out on the town and decided to spend the night with her at the hotel to extend our time together.  Somewhere between 1-2 am, I felt a bite on my leg under the sheets.  I peeled back to the covers to discover a black bug on my leg.  I couldn't go back to sleep and alerted my sister.  She had to wake up early and decided to stick it out and change rooms in the AM.  

    Next day arrives, she gets her room changed.   She checked the sheets during the day and all seemed well.  Well, let's just say the freaks come out at night!  That night there were beg bugs in that bed too.  Completely grossed out at 11pm, the concierge didn't want to offer a full refund to her company, just another nasty room.   Needless to say,  she now has a hotel phobia!  I think I'm on a hotel free life for a while too.  She was so disappointed she drove all the way back to Charlotte just to sleep in her own bed.  They couldn't offer her a stay at the Marriott around the corner?  That's all she wanted....

    Not worthy the Marriott name.

    The building looks nice from the outside, and the front desk staff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast is included and so is wi-fi. I had an AAA rate that included parking in the underground garage. Everything worked in my room; the shower provided hot water instantly.

    The rest is rather disappointing. The look of the hallways and rooms looks very dated. The room has numerous lights, but there is no simple way to control them. Some lights were unplugged. One of the closets is in a dark corner with no lights, but has an ironing board and iron.

    The bathroom has no hook for a hanging toiletry bag, and no toiletries other than soap, shampoo and conditioner. After searching the whole room I found the hair dryer in a far dark corner of the closet. The soaps and conditioner were thrown away by the housekeeper after one use.

    The kitchen has a sink, microwave, coffee maker and a small refrigerator. No plates, silverware, paper towels or trash bin there. The coffee is very bitter.

    The pillows are thick; not good for back sleepers. The iPhone Dock on the clock radio did not work. The phone was filthy.

    The room was fairly noisy - both from the road and the AC (which can be turned off). I found that if I did not lock the window, I was able to position it such that it dampened street noise better.

    This place is more expensive than the nearby Homewood Suites, which I gave 3 stars. I hope that Marriott will soon renovate this facility. Until then, I will avoid coming back.

    I recently visited this hotel for a weekend business trip. I arrived super early, like 730 am on the day I was scheduled to check in. The gentleman at the front desk was super friendly and helpful and got me a room immediately even though check in wasn't until 3pm. I really liked the fact that his attitude was just like no big deal let me take care of my customer. That attitude makes everything better. The room was nice and clean. Spacious. Location of the hotel right by the exit for 400 to get to 85/75 which allows quick access to all of Atlanta. But still the big deal for me was the service as I didn't do anything in the room other than sleep and get dressed.

    This was our first time visiting Atlanta, and we chose this hotel based on the great price. Just about 20 minutes outside of Atlanta, we couldn't have asked for a nicer room. We stayed in a 2-queen bed suite, and it was perfect for the four of us. The only complaint I have (and it's more of a personal thing than anything else) is the over-fanciness of the place. We went down to the continental breakfast in our pajamas (since it was 8:30am and that's normally what you do in a hotel) and everyone was all dressed up! Business suits, women in dresses, full makeup and hair all done...they looked at us like we were disgusting. Didn't make THAT mistake again.

    That staff was nothing but friendly! Check-in was awesome, and they hooked us up with travel guides since they knew we were from out of state. There was even a night when we came across some shady looking people in the parking garage who appeared to be casing our truck. We mentioned it to the front desk, and security had just happened to be there while we expressed our concerns. They took down our room number, and security said he was going to be sure to take extra measures to watch our truck. It put our mind at ease!

    I would definitely stay here again if we are in the area. Very convenient location, and the staff was phenomenal!
