I stayed at Staybridge this past weekend with my friends from out of town. Plenty of space in the double room and all the utensils glasses and plates made it easier for us to eat and drink. Great stay overall but next time it's the W I'll be staying at. Customer service was great.

It's not the Four Season, but not horrible. In reality, I'd give 2.5 stars, but their workout room actually works, so I am in a better mood.
The hotel lobby is decent, not opulent by any means, but nice enough. My room, a king nonsmoking suite, was big enough and well laid out. I like space, and this wasn't huge, but big enough. It had a small kitchen, with actual utensils, plates, etc. not disposable. Kudos for that.
It was clean, witht he exception of one used/dirty washcloth left by the previous guest, that's kind of nasty. The also "forgot" to clean my room my second day there, which was a bit annoying, but I lived. Also missing from my room, one of those stands for my luggage, there was bassically no place to put my suitcase to have easy access, there were shelves in the closet, but none big enough for any sort of suitcase, etc. Strange choice by them, in my opinion.
The work out room has WORKING treadmills, thank God for small favors, an elliptical machine, bike, and a small circuit machine that worked well enough.
The also had the standard Holiday express inn breakfast, which is rather bland. I'd like for them to use at least a little imagination, but again, this isn't the Four Seasons, it's a Holiday Inn.
Their wireless actually works, and usually has a decent data rate, though it does drop once in a while and kicks you back to the home screen, where you have to accept terms and conditions to use it. this got old fast, having to do this every half hour.
One thing, though, is that they should lower the price a bit, it's not worth $170 a night, not by a long shot.

Absolutely enjoyable stay... excellent customer service...very clean and convenient location! Price wasn't to pocket wrenching neither!... only reason not giving 5 stars because of the cleaning service... little perplexed as to why they were coming to our room at 4 pm asking if they could then.

I've been a other Staybridge hotels and sadly this one was not my favorite. I had booked the "standard suite" and ended up getting a "king studio" because the lady at the front desk said they were all booked.
She did not even attempt to look on the computer. The room was right next to the parking garage -- I literally was able to look out my window and see my car. This was okay except for when you are trying to sleep and people are locking their cars turning on the security which beeps. Also, it was a constant car door slamming -- geez!
The breakfast buffet was the most disappointing for me. Unlike most other Staybridges, this one offered very little -- basically eggs and ham or sausge for hot items. I have always been used to more hot stuff on their bar.
Next time I think I may try the other Staybridge in Atlanta -- definitely not going back to this one.

Love the Staybridge suites in Buckhead. Stayed here for 3 days. Nice clean rooms with really comfy bed. Only complaint maid service is not that great. You have to ask the front desk for service. There were no signs on my door. I just got missed TWICE!!

So currently I am bunking here for two to however many days - long story- and it's lovely!!
Very NPWH. All of the staff is so helpful and fun - one was especially interested in my cooking mags I read during my first night here (they do a nightly as well as hot breakfast buffet, included in your room price) so of course I gave them to her when I was done. It was a simple gesture on my part but she was delighted.
The rooms are set up like suites in the sense that you have a kitchen, full size fridge, cookware and silverware, etc. Not a bad place at all to be for a several day visit - especially when their rates are typically between $95-$129 a night! Most Hampton Inns don't even have that kind of pricing. Plus, free WiFi. Nice.
They have what they call "The Pantry" that is open 24/7 and has everything from Advil and the like to frozen meals and soups and all kinds of drinks.
The breakfast spread is pretty impressive - mini omelettes with cheese, either sausage (yesterday) or bacon (today), grits, bananas, oranges, apples, all kinds of toast and muffins and everything from OJ or cran juice to skim and chocolate milk. Oh, and good yogurt!!
And they have a shuttle that will take you anywhere you need to go within three miles - though where the hotel is located everything from Pricci to TJ's to WaHo is within walking distance!
I highly endorse this place if you're ever in need of a shortish-longish hotel stay in Atlanta.
[OH! And they allow pets for a small fee. Luke is being cared for by a dear friend but if need be, he could have respite here, too!]

Our stay was nice... you can tell that some of the employees really strive to go above and beyond for the customer. Others... well, not so much.
The location of the Staybridge Suites is in a fairly convenient part of Buckhead. If you're arriving into Hartsfield Airport, you can theoretically take the train to the closest station and the hotel will pick you up, however a cab will get you there faster if you're traveling during non-rush hour and can spare the expense. The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle to the local train (MARTA) station and local attractions (i.e. Lennox Mall, Atlanta International School, Atlanta Fish Market, etc... etc...). The rooms that have been remodeled are nicely appointed and tastefully decorated. The soundproofing of the building is reasonable however you will hear your neighbors if their loud (or drunk). The complimentary breakfast items are nice but they are hardly a meal, so don't plan on getting a full breakfast or dinner (they offer an afternoon meal, too.).
The reason for not giving a higher rating? 1) My room was prepaid by my work and my personal car was charged anyway. Although they fixed that, it shouldn't have happened. 2) A young lady working in the afternoon during the IB conference in June got snippy with conferencegoers when we requested a shuttle to and from various places. Granted some teachers were probably rude and demanding, but customers always come first my dear. I had more sympathy for the very courteous shuttle driver than the receptionist. 3) The location can be better. Although it's not in a dumpy part of town, it's not as centrally located as the Hyatt or Westin.
All in all, Staybridge is a competitive offering that with some further refinements would probably earn my business if I return.

My wife and I have been coming to Pharr Road Staybridge for the past 3 years I have lived in ATL. We live just down the road but some circumstances have made it that we have had to leave the house for a few days, sometimes weeks when renovations have been done to the house or we have had A/C or powere outages. We have also put friends up in there when visiting from out of town.
We have always been extremely satisfied with the service and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There are free meals with booze, also breakfasts, and the best thing is the hotel is dog friendly, this is one major reason we stick with Staybridge.
Recent renovations have made our stay even more comfortable, and the rooms are quite stylish now, Flat screens, nice furniture, wi-fi and so on.
My only peeve is that I wish the internet was faster as it is very slow for streaming movies on Netflix and playing Playstation online as when I stay here I bring my console so I can watch movies and play video games.

This place is a traveler's dream!
A functional kitchen, nice living space with a sectional couch, comfy beds and a lovely "Welcome Reception" with free food & booze Tuesday through Thursday each week.
Minus one star because the walls were a tad thin and you could hear your neighbors pretty clearly...
I would 100% stay here again as long as I could get a reasonable hotel rate. (Thanks hotels.com !)

We entered Room 513, and already something odd smells, I didn't say a thing. But I was sitting on the edge of the bed, and noticed from the window light, the couch looked moldy. I'm sure it was just my imagination, but I went downstairs and asked if we could move to a 'city view' room on the other side of the hotel. We were told, there wasn't any room with the 'city view', but the best he could do was move us to Room 514. I said OK, hoping it was better than the one we were in.
When I got back to our room, my husband opened 2 windows to air the room. He then told me, the room DID SMELL odd! So, I was right! It wasn't my imagination! Outside Room 514, the corner of our rug @ the door entrance, looked very dirty!
Other than that, I'm happier! Even the view is a tad better.
I'll update about our meal in the morning. UPDATE: Food was good! Shower was like I'm home! BUT, going back to my room, so I could brush my teeth & finish getting ready, I can't get back in my room, using my key. I heard the housekeeper down the hallway, I went to find her & told her, could she let me in my room? My key doesn't work. She said she can't, I have to go downstairs. While standing there, waiting for my husband to come in, I met 2 more of customers who were staying across from me. One told me, his spare key couldn't get him in, either and his daughter complained that the bathroom wasn't getting flushed. The closet door was also falling forward (tipping) out, and they didn't come & fix the toilet, This morning it still wouldn't flush! I pointed them out, the dirt on the rug, outside my door, and the man told me: "they could do better than that!"
While we were talking, the housekeeper finally showed up to let us IN, but too late, my husband came @ the same time! I was waiting outside for until I made a call to my husband to get your butt up here, I can't get in! LOL

This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. I can't wait to come back here.
The pool and hot tub were both very clean. The hot tub was actually hot, which was great. Most places it is just warm.
The managers reception and breakfast were both nice. The only thing I wish is that the soda would be on during breakfast since I don't do coffee.
The staff was extremely accommodating and pleasant. I hurt my ankle while we were staying and they made me bags of ice since the ice maker in our room wasn't working. The lady who was helping at the managers reception was very friendly and went out of her way to make sure every one felt at home. She was very funny and had a contagious laugh.
The location of the hotel was right near all the places we wanted to go. It was great to have the couple mile shuttle available.
The towels were soft, there were extra pillows in the closet for the bed, the tv was adjustable. You got a free bag of popcorn which was awesome. We had a lamp missing a light bulb and the stove top burner was messed up, but when we told the front desk they sent someone that same minute to fix it. Bed was a little firm for our liking but atleast it was clean and smelled nice.
