Everything was excellent - beautiful inside and out. From the moment you drive up the manicured driveway you are treated to high quality at every turn. Landscaping was inspiring, as was the fact that this home is a historical landmark. The bathroom in my room, the Farnsworth, was just remodelled and pristine. The bed was probably the ...most comfortable I've been in - those SHEETS! I loved the fact that they took care to be as green as possible, but without sacrificing the feeling of luxury. The descriptions of the decor (tidbits about photos on the wall, chandeliers, etc) made you aware of the attention to detail. I loved the gourmet breakfast (crab egg benedict) and the treats available in almost every room. Location was perfect for me. I highly recommend this BnB and hope to stay there again.

Lovely, just lovely! My husband and I recently spend our ten year anniversary in Atlanta, and this was the perfect spot for that getaway. The location is the perfect balance of feeling residential, but being very close to all midtown has to offer. The inkeepers are so kind and the breakfast was to die for! Our room, the Gables, was beautifully appointed and super spacious. The huge rain shower was a highlight! My husband has already booked Stonehurst for his next business trip, and we plan to return again next summer! If you are in Atlanta, stay here, you won't regret it!

One of the best in the city of its kind. Why?

If you're staying in Atlanta and want a break from the boring, monotonous halls of national-chain hotels - Stonehurst Place is for you.

If you're looking for an elegant, upscale B&B that has the best of the best of everything for guests, again, make your reservations here.

If you're looking to patronize an establishment with a deep commitment to sustainability and the environment, then definitely check this place out!

And finally, the location is deep in the heart of midtown and walking distance to everything - from Piedmont Park to the Fox Theatre.

Perfect solution for honeymooners and business travelers. You'll thank me later...

We were expecting a cool new experience staying here, something different from a traditional hotel stay.  We got so much more than we expected!

The house, gardens, and rooms are absolutely beautiful.  The breakfasts were delicious.  The snacks were always tempting.  And the people were a delight (we miss you Lori, Paul, and Ms. Jackie!).

I'm forcing myself not to go into too many details about how warm, inviting, and downright impressive this establishment is, otherwise I'd never be quiet.

If you're interested in staying somewhere that feels more like home, somewhere you can treat as part of your trip instead of just the place you happened to sleep, then this place is definitely for you.  Give it a try - you'll be joining the chorus of praises for this place in no time.

I was entirely blown away by this gem.

Usually I travel between Boston and New York, almost on a weekly basis, but suddenly--Atlanta. I cannot wait to have another reason to come down. Stonehurst itself is well-situated, charming, elegant, perfect. And the caretakers, Paul & Lori, are amazing, sweet, and downright talented. I wish I could wake up every morning to one of their french presses at the dining table.

    Five stars, two thumbs up.

I'm a Georgia girl and always will be. Even though I live in Vegas. After being away for about eight years, my mom and I decided to make a trip back and visit some old haunts and friends that still lived in Atlanta. I'm a major fan of cool discount travel... Jetsetter, Groupon, Living Social; that kind. I found an AMAZING deal for a suite here and after checking reviews, decided to go for it. Not only was it a great price for a really perfect location; it was also the biggest room in the house! And by house, I mean house. It used to be a house.

We got here WAY early since we took the redeye but the owners were awake and cooking so they let us in, took our bags, and told us as soon as our room was open, they would bring our bags to our room. The house is GORGEOUS. We did some sightseeing (my version, which included a one hour drive to the sticks) and came back after check-in.

There is never a lack of food and refreshment in this B&B. And the term B&B is kind of loose. It's like an upscale boutique/B&B. It has all the quaintness of a B&B and all the conveniences of a boutique hotel (and the cool factor). The innkeeper (Caroline, such a sweetheart) bakes some awesomeness every single day and puts it in the dining room for guests. There is a fully stocked cupboard in the parlor with drinks and cookies. Upstairs there are fixings for coffee and tea. There are books and movies scattered around. And unlike a regular B&B, the bathrooms are severely upgraded (and not the shared kind).

Breakfast was an explosion of flavor (my attempt to sound really really pretentious but it was true) and we didn't feel forced to mingle with the other guests (even though we did). The location was perfect for us (right down the way from the Margaret Mitchell House and a Marta station); however, the house is a bit difficult to find. It is in a fairly residential area and everything with the word Piedmont gets confusing. Even for a former local. The house is also by Piedmont Park and a long-ish but beautiful walk from Virginia Highland. I absolutely adore this B&B and would love to stay here again next time!

The experience was amazing! From being personally greeted upon arrival , to the tour of the property, the customer service was exceptional. The home was renovated impeccably (luxurious European style) and all the extra touches to address the guests anticipated needs and wants was superb. My husband and I were celebrating my birthday and decided to check off staying at a bed and breakfast which was on my bucket list of things I wanted to do.  laury was great to work with and coordinated with my children to stage the room with rose petals , chilled wine and chocolates for our pleasure when we returned from our dinner in town.  Thank you for such a fabulous time!

It is great value for price and in an excellent location. No, it is not the Waldorf!!! It is, however, an immaculately clean and safe place to stay in Atlanta City, and I am grateful it is there.

Beautiful, excellent place. Far exceeded our expectations. First, the bed is not your typical hard as a brick hotel bed. It was top notch and so comfortable. The bathroom was amazing...heated tile and heated towel rack. Amazing jacuzzi tub with a faucet head attached. And a HUGE shower with about 5 different shower heads...so much nicer than a hotel. The personal touches and ammenities make all the difference. I think the best part was the breakfast. Everything was from scratch and unique...the service is so personable too. An amazing place to relax after a long day of sightseeing or to just get away. Will definitely be back next time im in Atlanta.
