This is for the restaurant, not the hotel accomodation.
The food was acceptable, nothing outstanding. The soup was very welcome on this cool night; the ribs took f-o-r-e-v-e-r to come and were a little dry...but there was lots of them. The waitress was kind enough to switch out the salad for the soup so I didn't pay extra. Nice.
May be this being a cool and cloudy Tuesday night made me stingy on the rating, but it's a 3.5 at best. The service was mediocre and the restaurant wholly lacking in atmosphere. Luckily, I sat near the bar where there were some interesting characters trying to dance along to the TV show "Dancing with the Stars". This side show was interrupted by the occasional 'baseball cap on backwards' dude wandering in from the sister hotel next door looking lost - the hotels seem to share amenities.
But, I can still taste funky water from the restaurant..like it came out of an algae-ridden drum of water. Later, I started to cough phlegm. Yuck.

I arrived in Atlanta at 2 am from a delayed flight, and couldn't wait to get to my hotel and crash. When we got to the hotel, I see that it's situated right next to a freeway, but I felt like it was 8 mile. One side of the freeway was really ghetto but the other side became much nicer. We were on the nicer side so I still expected a nice experience.
Upon arrival, the reception was nice and she assigned our rooms without too much trouble. We were near the top floor, which I always prefer, and overlooks the courtyard and pool. The bed is huge and comfy, there was a sofa and an office desk available for my laptop work. The LCD flatscreen was also a nice added touch and we were happy with the initial inspection.
However, all night, the AC was on, but the room didn't seem to cool down. Sweating in my sheets [without doing anything] is not something I like doing when I'm on vaca. I slept like a zombie [but then I just came from a 7 hr flight] but my friend didn't and basically did not get a nights rest at all. On that, the hotel lost 2 stars.

This hotel was lovely. Based on its name, location, appearance and price, I was expecting Motel-6 mediocrity, but this place was great! Huge room with a king bed, full-sized writing desk and desklamp, cable, wi-fi and a very clean pool. The staff was very nice and helpful, and they kept my bags for free all day after I checked out. Best of all, it is RIGHT on the edge of downtown - 3 blocks from the Peachtree Ctr MARTA stop.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Out of all the Hotel's downtown Atlanta this was a good fit as it was close to everything. It was modern Hotel with new amenities and blush comforters and pillows. This was the highlight for me, because after sightseeing this was what I was looking forward to.
The complimentary breakfast was also nice so it was us have to avoid having to venture out for some breakfast options.
I think what made me enjoy this Hotel was the customer service. The front desk receptionists were very pleasant, gave us great recommendations and were always helpful.
