This place is a dump.  There was a mouse in our room! We got a new room for the night and checked out the next morning, 2 days ahead of schedule. The furniture and carpet were stained and moldy. The sofa bed cushions had ashes or mouse droppings all over them. The bed linens weren't clean and the tub was stained. The patio furniture around the pool was filthy. There was a complimentary hot breakfast buffet but it was inedible.  The bacon was cold and rubbery. The coffee machine spit out tons of grounds and the OJ machine spit out water.  We threw it away and went to McDonald's down the street.  The people working at the hotel were extremely nice and tried to be helpful, but are just in a bad situation.  You TRULY don't want to stay here.

The Clarion Suites features a five story building with exterior entrances. Duel elevators make it easy to access the floors above ground level.  The property is older, but well maintained.

My king suite was massive and featured a separate bedroom.  Seating room included sofa, desk area, mini bar area with refrigerator, microwave, and sink. and small dining table.  Two television sets - one in the seating room and the other in the bedroom.  Also two heating/ac units in the suite.

Bed was comfortable, wifi signal was strong, great choice of tv channels.

The breakfast bar is promoted as a "Southern breakfast buffet" and is free to guests when you present your ticket obtained at the front desk.  Hot items included regular grits, cheese grits, sausage, scrambled eggs, and potatoes.

Rooms rates quite reasonable.  Only negative is that some of the room furnishings are beginning to show wear.

Our room was clean and the staff was great.  We had a small area with a couch, desk and a TV and a separate bedroom area with a King sized bed, another TV and a huge bathroom.  The hotel was very clean and quiet.  In the morning there was a hot breakfast in the lobby with eggs, grits, bacon, sausage, waffles, juices, coffee and cereals.  The cable is extensive- tons of channels and the internet was great.  I spent the whole day at the hotel working on my computer as my husband was out on site and had no issues with the internet, as a matter of fact, it was fairly fast.

There are plenty of options for food within walking distance including a Waffle House next door and a Pizza Hut, Wild Wings Cafe and a Captain's D right across the street.  The only issue we had was that there were no sidewalks so it wasn't too safe to walk too far from the hotel- (though this is no fault of the hotel).  The hotel sits back on a busy street so it was hard to hear the traffic in our room.

We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

My stay at this hotel was fair, simply because one of the televisions didn't work and I had to stay in a smoking room (due to all non-smoking rooms sold out basketball various tournaments taking place).

However, the staff is exceptional and very attentive. The front desk staff provided great recommendations for restaurants and places to go out in the Augusta and Downtown area.

The room and hotel grounds were clean. Also, guests receive free breakfast and two drinks during the hotel's happy hour. Free wifi is available. I would stay at the hotel again but only in a non-smoking room.
