I was looking for a good deal for a hotel room for one night because I was visiting GRU, and I got a great deal online for $77/night for a room! However, please note that this price is only for a regular room. If you want a suite room, you will be paying at least $100/night. However, this information was not disclosed to me when I made the phone call to book the room, so if you are looking for a suite, make sure you clarify what price goes with what kind of room.
Pros: This hotel is conveniently located off of the highway and about 5 miles away from the GRU campus. There are a lot of restaurants near it. There is FREE parking, FREE wifi, and FREE hot breakfast. The wifi is pretty fast. There is a pool and gym facility. The woman who was working at breakfast was very kind and made sure that the food was refilled in a timely manner. The beds are comfortable.
Cons: I had a room next to the ice machine, and you could still kind of hear it through the walls. The front desk staff was a little snippy when I asked about my room, because I thought I had booked a suite. Maybe it was because it was almost 11:30PM and they were tired. The towels in the bathroom were gross: I found hairs lodged in multiple towels that I opened, and one of them had a green stain on it. The ironing board had burn marks and wet stains. There were stains on the ceiling in the bathroom.
In conclusion, the price was good and the freebies were very nice, but the towels and the bathrooms could be cleaner. There are other hotels right around this one, so I would probably check out another hotel near it, because of its nice location.

The 2 stars is for the ONLY 2 people who helped us the night we stayed from Feb 14-16, 2015. I've read all the reviews but decided to take a chance because I had points I can use for lower rates.
1st star for the evening person who let us do a late check in over the phone because we can't leave the wedding (esp being part of the wedding party and all.)
2nd star for the manager the morning of the 15th who gave us a free night... Which we may not use. Ever.
How they failed:
NO TOWELS the 2nd night we stayed there. When we got back around 11pm on Feb 15th, we called front desk and after 3 tries calling them and my husband finally going down to talk to them, they picked up the phone. Front desk lady said it will be 15-20 mins. Husband came back and was told that they "ran out" of towels but will send some shortly. I fell asleep waiting for the towels, and my husband finally went back downstairs around 1am looking for towels. He got attitude from the front desk lady like it was our fault. After talking to them, we finally got towels at 2am when my husband suggested getting the towels from their vacant rooms.
I don't understand how they ran out of towels and it's not even Masters Week.
They ran out of food at 9:15 am and breakfast wasn't over yet. After that horrible night, we went downstairs for the buffet that was empty. We didn't feel like arguing so we made some so-so pancakes then left.
Pls don't stay here unless you're really desperate.
