I've stayed at this hotel for about a week while on a business trip.. the place is nice and cheap, and the staff is very courtious.
Although there were plenty of drawers in the room for my clothes, there was no closet.

On the good side the room was big and was very clean. The hotel provides free breakfast for all its guest every morning...

Overall.. if ur looking for an affordable place to stay in Augusta, this would be a good place to stay!

Stayed here on a business trip.  the girl at the front desk was very nice.  Room was a little out dated with an old tube tv.  The cable tv signal was fuzzy on all channels but that wasnt a big deal for us.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable, I had a nice restful sleep.  The shower and bathroom was clean.  Linens were clean and soft.  There was soap available but no shampoos.

Free wifi and desk/table in the room.  There was a fridge and microwave in the room.

Free continental breakfast including scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits n gravy, yogurt, cereal, and other typical breakfast items.  The food was surprisingly delicious for a free hotel breakfast.  They had wait staff serving coffee and water table side.

We didn't tasker advantage of it but this hotel has a really nice outdoor pool area.  They have a huge pool and lots of patio furniture all around the pool right in the center of the hotel.

Overall a very pleasant experience, especially for the price.

This place is far from fancy, but it gets the job done. Safe location, free parking, free wi-fi, free breakfast, and clean rooms....all for under $100 bucks. Good thing my work pays for my hotels!

What made this stay the bomb was Morgan, at the front desk. She was very pleasant while checking us in. We asked her for a place that had "local flair" and she suggested the perfect place!

The hotel was nice. It has a breakfast area and even a bar area that is open late. The pool area was also impressive. The rooms were in good shape, no complaints.

The dining facilities are decent and the pool's courtyard looks nice, but the rooms are awful. One of the oldest Holiday Inns we have stayed at and as a Platinum member that's saying a lot. We smelled mold the first night and woke to the smell of sewage. We will be switching hotels for the rest of our stay in Augusta. I'm not sure where the other reviewers stayed. The second star is only because of the dining.

Nice staff, newer rooms.  Bed was a little hard.  Pillows were great.

As previous posters have mentioned, the staff here all really great.
Recognized at check in for being platinum and offered a choice of snacks.
This is an older property but very well maintained,on site bar/restaurant and a nice pool area.
The internet is great here as well.
Free breakfast with a nice assortment of items.
My double has lcd flat screen telly, micro and fridge and a comfy bed with a mixture of pillows all of the little things I look forward to at IHG brand hotels.

Let's get down to it.... My room was nice and clean and the shower pressure was great.  TV didn't get as good reception a other places, but it's tough to fault the hotel for that.

But free wife and bfast, always hard to go wrong there.  They even had some nutrigrain bars and nature valleys to take with me.

I wish the workout room was a little bigger, but it was manageable, and if I had another night here, I would've taken advantage of the indoor pool as well.

Agreed with the previous posters; they were all very friendly and welcoming to us on our stay here.   They suggested some places to eat and were really cool to chat with.

Located less than 20min from AGS airport makes this a good choice for a work trip to the area. The entrance to the hotel can a little tricky to see when driving in as our ride almost missed it. The road at the turn could also use a resurfacing of asphalt.

Lobby: Great lobby with great service and plenty of comfortable meeting space. The downside was I found the instant coffee in the room better than the coffee was in the lobby. Well let me correct that...only later in the afternoon and evening. In the morning it was great. Big plus for me was they had International Delight flavored creamers.

Room: Large, clean with the appearance of recent remodel. The microwave and mini-refrigerator would've made it real convenient had I stayed longer than a single night. I found the bed linen good quality and the mattress quite soft and comfortable. As were the pillows and the lounging chair in the room. The night stand lamps had outlets on them making it convenient for charging smart phones, laptop, etc.

Bathroom: I especially liked the oversized tiled shower verses an old fashioned tub that no one uses. The Neutrogena products were also a nice touch. The shower, sink, floor and toilet were all spotless. The towels were good quality and clean without stains. My only complaint with the bathroom was the water in sink never got as hot as I prefer for shaving but the shower was more than hot enough, and quickly got to the right temperature.

Quietness: Unfortunately it was a little loud early in the evening due to kids staying in the room next to mine running in and out of their room and making a load of noise in the hallway. I can't really fault the hotel for that and it wasn't bad enough that I couldn't sleep so no stars lost there.

Amenities: Good gym and pool but the lack of room service was a little hard for us as we didn't have a rental car and were starving when we were dropped off at the hotel. There are a couple of restaurants that deliver but we didn't find out from the front desk until our ride came to get us for dinner. Probably good idea to put them in guest services book

Overall: This was a great find for the price. Modern, clean and great customer service but with all the little things I think I'm going to have to give it 4 Stars.

Good and bad. The bad is that the bathroom was like a closet, very uncomfortable. In fact, the room overall was fairly small and there weren't sufficient outlets around the bed area--two around the desk, which made life harder for two people looking to plug in. My guess is that it's an old building that's had some work done, but some more outlets would help. The heater was very loud. I slept poorly due to a number of factors, some related to the room and others not. The outdoor pool looked nice but of course being an outdoor pool in January, was not usable.

The service was nice, and the breakfast was actually something resembling a breakfast--not particularly good, but at least something more than the usual fare. Also, the room was clean. The bed was ok, but I didn't like the pillows.

I'd have liked this a bit better for $20 cheaper--I don't know why the hotels in this area were more expensive than other areas.

Are you kidding me? The restaurant isn't normally open on the weekends? Wtf is this all about? People DO fucking eat on Saturdays and Jebus-days. At least normal ones. And don't tell me any of you southern deep fried body builders are missing meals. Pfft whatever.

This hotel is a little older, but the staff are super sweet and nice. Very hospitable other than having a place to eat and not opening it very much. Not a big fan of rooms with doors to the outside though... Especially with all the riff-raff around, if you know what I mean.

Great, beautiful local place. Only tip is to try to go on a cloudy day because you're walking around in the sun looking up.
