I've never stayed here BUT while reading reviews on other sites I noticed the hotel had changed owners and a few people mentioned construction.  So I found the actual website, got the phone number and called to verify.  (At the time I noted the nightly rate for our check in date was $99) I was greeted by a very rude reservation specialist who informed me that "whutnt no construction going in around here" and I was grossly misinformed. Soooo I ask well we were planning a visit... Gave him/her (I honestly don't know) the dates and inquired the price. I was told quite rudely (an after a very loud exasperated sigh) it would be $169.  When I said "wow why is it so much higher when your website says the same room is only $99" I was asked " then why didn't you just reserve online" to which I replied "looks like I won't be staying here thank you" prior to hanging up.   Great customer service.

I stayed 2 nights with a tour group. The lobby is attractive and staff helpful. The halls smelled musty and the carpet was water stained. The faucet for the shower fell apart and I was unable to take a shower in the morning. They could not fix the shower, and we had to be moved. The breakfast was included for our tour.  The breakfast was adequate and there was always hot coffee. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone

Stayed here only one night but wish we could have stayed longer. Great location and great room. Walking distance to a lot of the sights and nightlife. Parking is additional in a garage across the street. Would stay here again!

Great customer service, well located. I stayed in this hotel two nights (Dec 20 & 21) and I enjoyed it. Stylish & charming. Recommended.

Stayed here for four nights. The lobby is very attractive and the front desk staff is super friendly. The beds/pillows were awesome, I slept very well. I'm also not sure what people are complaining about with the garage. We pulled up out front and were instructed to unload, then given a key card for the really nice garage across the street. Parking is $12 a night, which is to be expected in city hotel. The only downside was the house keeping. Our room was never cleaned after our first night and wasn't overly clean when we arrived.

HORRIBLE!!! A disgrace to this hotel group!

This hotel used to be some other mediocre hotel but recently changed ownership.

The lobby is really appealing, but that's it.

The lady who checked me in was so rude! She was annoyed that she had to check me in instead of texting on her phone which she kept out at the desk and checked twice while checking me in.

After check in, I went to go park my car downstairs in this tiny little garage under the hotel. There's probably 10 parking spots total and they are so tight that I couldn't even get my little Audi A4 into the spot. The garage smelled so bad of cigarettes that the smell invaded my car.  I went back up to the desk and asked what I was supposed to do about parking and they gave me a tap card for a garage across the street. I went to go move my car from that impossible spot downstairs and I was trapped between a pole on my side and a huge wall behind me. I had to make a 16 point turn with guidance to get out of that spot without destroying my car.

I then went up to my room. 3rd floor, elevator opens and the hallway smells a little stale, the floor has outdated carpets, but other than that it's fine.

Open the room and the carpets are disgusting. Black and brown stains all over the floor. Chipped and dirty furniture, stains on the yellow plaid curtains and a lumpy bed.

Whatever though we aren't here for the hotel, we are here for the town. So we go out and Savannah is nice, we come back at night and get into our lumpy bed. The air conditioning is on, and so loud that it sounds like an airplane is landing in our room. I turn it off for peace and quiet.

My fiancé falls asleep fast, as usual, but I can't get to sleep. At around 1 am I try to turn the TV on, but there is no signal, just static, I tried messing with the TV a little, but nothing worked. So I just sat in the lumpy bed staring at the yellow plaid curtains for about an hour until it got so hot without the air conditioning that I was sweating. But of course the air conditioning on was so loud that I couldn't fall asleep.

All in all I would have thrown a fit downstairs the morning of checkout if I wasn't so tired from not sleeping. I would never stay here. And I would never recommend it, I'm just trying to forget all about it.

Beautiful hotel that is in walking distance to the downtown area of Savannah.  It is situated right off the highway that exits onto the main road passing by the hotel.

It is also a block away from the convention center. The hotel has a parking lot the you have to pay an additional $12 for.

Now onto the accommodation.  The lobby/main entrance has a fireplace front desk, seating area and concierge service. Passed the fireplace is the eating area for the complimentary breakfast. All are a nice touch and very inviting feel.

My room was clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was functional and had all the amenities most decent hotels have.  I had two issues with the room and it was the loudness of the A/C unit. It gets extremely loud when it turns on, which was a problem to me when trying to sleep. The second issue was the sound from the road outside. I could hear the vehicles burrowing off the highway or down Montgomery Ave. I wanted to ask about getting both fix but I knew i was with a big group and the hotel was pack. Wasn't going to be able to move rooms and a couple other people complained about having problems with their A/C units.

I stayed six nights. Split between location and the accommodation and the quality of the room, it's hard to say if I would recommend or stay at this hotel again.

I stayed here two nights at the beginning of April and it was a great stay in the city of Savannah. I had been to Sav-town before but stayed elsewhere and far away from the city center. This hotel is situated only a few blocks away from everything (15 min walk tops!)

When we got there on Friday afternoon, the woman that checked us in was so friendly and was very quick to assist us with the parking situation. You have to meter park at check in (kinda) and then they'll give you a card to get in and out of the parking garage across the street. It was really nice to offer it for a cheap fee because we had a half marathon to run that next am and needed to be efficient with being in and out.

The rooms were average and I thought they could be updated a little but the bathroom was fine/clean as well. The only problem was the TV. I know, who watches TV on vacation? I do. I fall asleep to TV because it's my thing. There's didn't work at all and was in black and white. Very bizarre but an easy fix! I also got news that they're majorly renovating this summer so with that said, I will definitely recommend this place. Everyone was very inviting and hospitable! :)
