Need a clean new hotel perfectly located for quick trips into historical Savannah?  This is the place for you.  As with all Embassy Suites, breakfast is hot and free, as are evening drinks and munchies at the "manager's reception".  The staff was outgoing and helpful.

Great hotel and easy drive toeverything Savannah!  Saved quite a few dollars and stayed in a nicer hotel than if we stayed in downtown Savannah.  Loved the included cooked to order breakfast and nightly manager's reception every night.  Pool was great (important to my two sons) and rooms were large, clean and comfortable.  Another great hilton hotel

A great hotel.  Free breakfast, including chef-cooked omelets.  Free happy hour every night!  Hotel looked brand new, rooms were fresh and clean.  Every unit is a one-bed room with separate living room.  Includes microwave, coffee maker, small sink and mini-fridge.  Excellent!  Hotel also has a grill where you can order sandwiches, salads and more all day long.  Just 20 minutes outside of downtown, and very close to the airport.  Good alternative to staying in the city center.

We enjoyed our stay here.  Everything was clean and the staff was very nice.  Definitely stay here if looking for a reasonably priced hotel off 95.  Price included a full breakfast buffet in the morning and it was excellent.

I dont understand why people will pay alot more to stay down town to only get a smaller room, pay for parking and not get a free amazing breakfast. Well that is what your going to get here. The pool was nice and clean as well was the hot tub. Room was immaculate. The staff were professional and very helpful. Do yourself a favor stay here wake up to that nice free breakfast with made to order eggs. You will thank me and so will your wallet compared to how they overcharge to be in downtown savannah.

Ok, so this hotel is pretty close to brand new, but the staff at the front desk seemed like they were in-experienced,because it took 20mins to check in, and I was second in line. Not only that but the girl who checked me in, didn't have a smile on and just didn't seem like she was happy to be there.
After I got up to my room, it was the way I like it, beautiful A/C on full, the room was cozy, and very well appointed. I asked for good barbecue, and they gave me a menu to a place 2 mins away, said it was the best within 50 miles. Barbecue was from the Smokin Pig and was pretty darn good, some of the best that I had. Their Baked beans and pulled pork were perfect, and I could not have asked for a better cup of sweet tea.
Back to the hotel though, they had a great fitness room, with all Precor equipment and had some free weights. Never used the pool. Enjoyed the Managers Reception @ 1800, the beers were a little small for my taste but that's fine.

So now on to the reason I gave this hotel only four stars; I've visited many hotels and Embassy Suites is one that sticks out, they put on a fairly decent spread for breakfast, which in a way was the same here, however the thing that made me decline breakfast and check out right then was the fact that the omelet/waffle station was right in line with the normal buffet items, which meant that if you just wanted the normal buffet items you had to wait behind everyone that was getting an omelet. That in my book is no good. Every other Embassy Suites that I've been to (10) has the regular buffet separate from the omelet area, which makes it so I can grab some scrambled eggs and sausage/bacon and have something to eat w/o standing in line 20 mins to go through an area that I didn't want anything to do with.

I like this hotel. It's almost brand new, staff is friendly, big lobby, bar for happy hour.

Rooms are nice, quiet, and standard Embassy suites size.

Close to the airport, not much "old Savannah" around. More like a walmart and a dozen fast food restaurants.

This is going to be our "go to" hotel when we travel from New Jersey to Florida and need to stop for the night.  This was a big beautiful and modern hotel tucked away just off I-95.  The rate was very reasonable and the free hot breakfast  was  very good.  The entire staff was very friendly and warm.  The woman who checked us in went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable.  The chef who cooked our breakfast was a gentleman who cared.  I hadn't stayed in an Embassy Suites in many years but I was always fond of them.  The only issue I had with them was that the countertops in our room as well as in the bathroom were badly stained and discolored.  They looked like granite countertops but granite doesn't stain like this.  This was a cheap knockoff.  The air  vent in bathroom was also falling off .  Despite these two minor issues, the overall stay was very nice and wouldn't hesitate to go back.  Great value!

Stopped by on a Monday night without reservations.  The hotel is very clean and well maintained. Had drinks in the evening - very nice. The beds were comfortable.  The shower had no mold at all- and was clean throughout. The rooms were fantastic.

We got up the next morning for the breakfast.  The omelet wasn't my favorite - but everyone usually likes their own way of making an omelet.  For the record - the cook added all the ingredients except the cheese with the egg to the pan.  I usually like the add the egg first, then enclose the other ingredients within the two halves.  But they had lots of other items as well.  Nobody walked away hungry.

For the I-95 corridor, this hotel is a gem.  I would recommend it to anyone staying in the area during the evening.  Very satisfied.

Best hotel experience I've had in a long time. The location is in close proximity to the airport, interstate, and good food. The hotel staff is helpful and friendly and the facility spotless!

Also, attended a banquet and the food was amazing.

I went to Embassy Suites in Pooler, GA.  for an overnight stay with my husband.

Location:  Conveniently close to the highway  4/5

Decor:  Modern, clean, and new 4/5

Complimentary breakfast:  Average but large selection.  Cook needs more training and finesse with making omlettes. Omelettes were hard and brown. Breads and bagels were stale.  Tea area was not function; I was hardpressed to find a pale to discard sugar wrappings. 2/5

Rooms:  Clean but some appliances defective.  Iron and TV in the living room area were broken.  3/5

Service:  Fine but not memorable. 3/5

I would go back only because of convenient location and because husband loves the hotel chain but quality of food needs to be upgraded.

Visited Savannah as I was driving down to Florida.  The Embassy Suites hotel was fabulous.  If you are looking to stay close to the city and get good value for your money, consider staying here.  I found it to be quite perfect!

The hotel is beautiful, modern and clean.  Immediately as you walk in, the lobby is on your left and they have a great lounge area outfitted with plush couches and a bar on the right.

Checking in was easy, quick and efficient.  The staff wasn't super friendly but did inform me about the free breakfast they offered in the morning as well as the manager's reception that was to start shortly after I arrived.

Our room was great.  There was only two of us staying here, but the suite setup allowed us to each have our own space.  There was a tv in the living room area and another in the bedroom.  There was also a nice little kitchen table which provided plenty of space to set myself up on my laptop and spread out.  Wireless internet access worked easily and made me very happy!

The bathroom was awesome, too.  It was large and clean and just as modern as the rest of the room.

I hope all Embassy Suites are like this one because I plan on making this my Hilton hotel line of choice going forward...

My family likes staying at all Embassy Suites because of the comfortable rooms, breakfast and courteous staff.  However at this certain Embassy Suites there was one out of the ordinary encounter that we thought was odd.  I would have given this place 5 stars if it weren't for it.  We stayed in Oct right around Halloween wknd during the time of the time zone change.  We came cause my husband went to one of the many Gulf Stream conferences.  Anyway, we had to check out Sunday morning the day of the time zone change.  We called front desk to double check the check out time which was confirmed at noon.  It was a surprise when someone came knocking at our door to "check" to see if someone was still in the room is what they said.  What the heck?  It was only 10 am and we had the tv on so anyone passing by can hear that there was someone in the room.  I felt like they were kicking us out.  We pay good money to stay till the allotted time.  I don't like it when hotels try to kick you out before the time you are suppose to leave.

Looked for reviews online and found excellent reviews from the night before. This place was fantastic.  Clean and upscale in appearance, but with a decent price given the suite and breakfast.  Room was immaculate and huge (kitchenette, living room area, huge bathroom and 2 double beds -- super comfy).  Breakfast was delicious with made to order eggs and omelettes as well as all other breakfast fare.  Pool was nice for a quick swim (5 foot deep along with hot tub).  Definitely would stay again.

My wife and kids here while they traveled to the "Nanny State".  The trip down there was a 4.5 stars. Room was awesome, amenities just flat out rocked.  But on return,it went 2.5.  The sofa bed wasn't very comfortable and the room service overcharged them. Once management was engaged, they credited us for the inconvenience   So they recovered nicely.

Clean, great location, quiet, and very nice staff. I enjoyed the managers reception which includes free draft beer, wine, and cocktails as well as chips and salsa and non alcoholic drinks for the kids from 5:30 to 7:30. The free breakfast was very good; not just your typical box of cereal, banana and pastries. This hotel has made to order omelets, pancakes, sausage, bacon, fruit, oatmeal, yogurt and the traditional bagels, cereal, etc. It was better than most places I've stayed. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. No complaints. Location was good for travelers (right off 95). Your view from the top floor is 95, but it's far enough back that you won't hear any traffic. Also, we forgot to pack a couple things, so it was nice that Walmart was right around the corner. We didn't eat dinner at the hotel, but there are plenty of restaurants right around the corner (including Cheddars, B&D burgers, Mo's, McDonald's, Olive Garden, jalapeños, Jersey Mikes, a pizza place and a chicken place. Someone's review on here said there was nothing within walking distance. All of this is very close. My family of 5 could have walked it in two to five minutes with no problem.  The work out facility, indoor pool, and hot tub looked nice, but I didn't have time to use them during our overnight stay. The only negative is there's no outdoor pool, but only staying one night it didn't impact me. I would stay again.

This hotel refuses to honor the military/government rate on multiple occasions. I would completely understand if the hotel was booked, but multiple times several coworkers and myself have attempted to book rooms here at the military rate when multiple rooms are available.  We are told point plank on the phone that rooms are available but they will NOT honor the military rate (even after speaking with the manager). EVERY SINGLE other Hilton property in the entire Savannah area, even downtown Bay Street Hilton properties and Hilton Desoto ALL will give military rate if they have ANY rooms available. I don't want handouts at all as a military member, but something just doesn't seem right when this is the only Hilton property in the entire Savannah area that continually refuses military discounts.

Stayed here with my mom all the way from San Diego in February, a number of things happened at this hotel.. Nothing drastic I just had expected better. First off it was a 5 day stay and when we walked into the room it was very clean and I was impressed!
A note card on the bed said they change your bedding every 3 days of your stay or if you want them changed sooner then leave the card on your pillow whenever your ready. On our third day we figured we better be safe than sorry and we put the card on the bed. At the end of the day I went to get into bed and found my hair all over the sheets. Obviously they were not changed...
Throughout the entire stay, except for the third day, we kept the do not disturb sign on the door. I just don't like the thought of someone around my things everyday when I'm not there. After my stay I had emailed the hotel telling them about this and the manager inferred that it was because we had the do not disturb sign on our entire stay.. so wrong, but I didn't want to respond back.
Also, kind of random, there was a staple laying on the floor in the bathroom that stayed there our entire stay as well so we know the bathroom wasn't swept. But the towels were refilled Thank goodness!
Managers reception: I appreciated the free drinks but the food was basically chex mix, carrots, broccolli and ranch dip.
Room service: kids cheese pizza, okay. Spinach dip, okay as well chips were stale.
The coffee machine in our room did not work, and the daily newspapers and express checkout papers under our door didn't happen either. And their pool was green but the manager said they were in the process of fixing it.
Overall it was just a place to sleep for us, the beds were very comfy and the building was nice! And the drive to savannah wasn't bad at all! But I can't help feel like we would've received better service in the more expensive hotels in the city?? Guess you do get what you pay for...

It's not my nature to denigrate a business, but I believe in honest appraisal.

-- Heaven help you if you plan to use the sofa bed, which apparently is there for marketing purposes only. The mattress is thin -- we could live with that -- but there are spring-like protrusions all over, rendering the mattress un-sleepable. The front desk sent a second mattress to double up the first, but as I explained to the clerk -- with wiry things jutting out all over, a second inferior mattress does nothing to remedy the problem. I suggested they provide a foam pad that one could buy inexpensively in WalMart -- but the hotel refused. "You should have booked two rooms," the maintenance man presumptuously said.

-- My 90 year old mother nearly fell, taking a shower. The bottom of the tub is shiny, slick. There are no bath mats. There are no anti-slip strips. When we asked for a mat -- again, cheap and easy to buy in WalMart -- the hotel refused.

-- At dawn, after our first un-sleepable night, the fire alarm sounded. People evacuated their rooms. False alarm,  because the staff neglected to properly clean their grill the day before, which caused smoke when they fired up for breakfast.

-- We returned at 5 p.m., and found that our room still had not been made up.

My husband is a Hilton Honors Diamond member. Ironically, upon our arrival the general manager left a welcome note signed "hospitably yours." If this is their idea of hospitality.........

Writing cursory notes without taking action, when confronted with  legitimate and easy-to-solve problems, is bad business.  With the number of good hotels in the Savannah area, there is no need for us to return to this place.

I have been intrigued by the rave reviews of this hotel, and finally had a chance to stay.  It was neither far from I-95, nor "airport" noisy/crazy, as I had feared.

In fact, the hotel is just off I-95's exit 104, and next to the restaurants we were already patronizing, such as Fatz.  We have tried many hotels in the Pooler area, but this was clearly the best.  With the AAA discount, we probably only paid a $20 premium to stay here over the previous hotels, but felt this was a good trade for the comfort and convenience, including professional staff, free cocktails, and hot breakfast.

We arrived in time to take advantage of the manager's reception which I believe runs evenings from 6:00 until 7:30.  Included are a variety of drinks, including beer, wine, and alcohol.

The non-smoking suite with king bed was beautiful.  Apparently this hotel is less than three years old, and looks brand new.  Visitors are first greeted by an entrance that includes a three story ceiling, and several fountains.

The complementary breakfast was very satisfying, and included one of the most efficient omelette productions I have ever seen.  The families had lots of young children, so this must be a popular layover for folks heading to Disney.

Bottom line:  Very nice hotel, with very quiet rooms.  With easy access to I-95, this is more than just an airport hotel.

We travelled to Savannah in May for a graduation and were undecided about where to stay. We thought about a Hilton property in Savannah but decided to stay try the Embassy Suites at the Savannah Airport.  Yelp reviews, Tripadvisor reviews and Price were all factors.

Being a business traveller, I've stayed at Hilton properties around the country because they usually offer a consistently good experience.  This particular Embassy Suites did not dissappoint. This is a very new hotel located right by the airport.  And, it's only 15-20 minutes to downtown Savannah. Reminded me a lot of the Embassy Suites in downtown Houston. Quiet, comfortable and clean.

The hotel management was very courteous, going out of their way to make sure we were enjoying our visit.

The breakfast was Ok.  The usual hotel breakfast fare, cereals, waffles, fruit.  They did have a good omlete station though.  I would stay at this hotel again

Arrived at Midnight after a long drive South. Originally stopped in SC for a room but there was nothing available but a Best Western with bad reviews. We decided to keep driving. We were happy we did.

The staff was inviting and courteous even at Midnight. The room was clean and modern and smelled well...the point I guess is that it didn't smell like anything.  Breakfast was offered but we were so comfy sleeping that we slept through it. highly recommended for the weary traveler looking for a worry free comfy stay. Not the cheapest so bargain seekers keep driving.

First impression after a late check-in was a roach on the bathroom floor.  I was also not very impressed to see a 1/2 empty toilet paper roll hanging up (although it was folded with the traditional triangle.).

All that said - the room was comfortable and seemed clean.  The bathroom has a door on the living room side and the bedroom side so it can be easy to disturb the people in the bedroom if you are in the bathroom blow drying your hair.

Breakfast was good but be aware they will not allow you to carry it upstairs (must be consumed in dining area.)

A lot of good retail stores around and they have started building a Tanger Factory Outlet Mall (only dirt as of May 2014).

Overall I'll probably go back - good value and good location.

I stay here frequently to break up a long drive between my home and my home town in FL. The amenities are great for the price, and the free breakfast actually has real food-not defrosted Danish and tiny boxes of frosted flakes. Free bacon? Can't beat that.
The only minus is that the staff, while friendly, can occasionally move as slow as molasses at check-in, and the wi-fi, while free, can be spotty and also rather slow.
Location is great, easy to get to off 95 and there's a ton of restaurants nearby for a quick travel meal. Also, the hotel itself has a small counter with a small menu of sandwiches and such. Most importantly, they also sell Chipwiches. I hadn't had one in probably a decade or more, but it was in the small freezer they have for sale the first time I stayed here and have availed myself of them every time since. If you don't like Chipwiches they have other ice cream bars for sale as well, but please don't tell me you dislike them and expect us to remain cordial.
I have serious feelings about ice cream, okay?

The hotel is nice the steak was very thin in the reasturant but over all the staff is friendly and accommodating.

The real issue here is location nothing is within walking distance the view is not pleasing. I would not call this a destination more like a place to lay your head down in route to your destination.

Again the staff is very nice just a bad location.

This is our family's stopping point on our yearly drives to Orlando.  It is the perfect distance and perfect place to stop after a long day of driving!

The hotel is beautiful, very clean and the staff is really hospitable.  The rates are a bit higher than other hotels nearby but it includes a HUGE buffet breakfast and manager's reception.  We also love having the extra bedroom with separate living room.

The convenience location right off 95 is so nice after driving all day.

I am from the South, but these folks put the hospitality in Southern Hospitality. Free drinks from 5:30pm to 7:30pm the free breakfast is awesome. They have a short order chef who works magic with an omelet. The room is a suite. Words cannot do this place justice. It is a short distance from here to Savannah. Great stores and restaurants just minutes away. The hotel restaurant is also a treasure. Indoor pool and jacuzzi. You cannot go wrong with this hotel.

Nice new property with a few issues:

    1) After our first night we noticed that our entire floor was not attended too.  (I had family staying on the same floor and they didn't have their room made up either)  We each had to call to have someone come to clean.  This only happened on the first day and had normal service throughout the rest of the stay.

    2) The location is quite far from downtown Savannah.  This was fine for this particular trip, but for the most part this is an "airport" hotel.

    3) The card keys kept demagnatizing.  I've stayed at plenty of Hilton properties this year and none had issues like this.  I had to get the card reporgrammed 3 times for a 4 day trip.  And yes, I kept the cards away from my phone and wallet.

    4) They could not scale correctly for high demand for their free breakfast service.  We went earlier in the day twice but got up later one day and wound up having to go to Panera Bread.

    5) The air conditioning in the bedroom was not quite up to par and we went in Dec.  I am afraid how it would be in the summer.

On a good note, the room was large and clean.  The staff was friendly and the parking was plentiful.

This was my home base when I was in Savannah for the Rock n Roll Savannah Marathon.  After looking at hotels in the historic district that would have cost me a lot of money over the course of a three day weekend, I decided that a cheaper hotel near the airport was a wiser choice.  The hotel is gorgeous and all of the staff members were gracious.  Check-in and check-out took less than five minutes and my room was spotless.  They do offer free breakfast and room service, but the hotel is also convenient enough to many restaurants (Chick Fil A, Panera Bread, Ruby Tuesday, etc) if you are wanting to try something different.  There is also a Walmart less than a half a mile from the hotel, and the hotel is situated  right off the interstate for added convenience.  Downtown Savannah is about 20 minutes away.

The only con I have have about this Embassy Suites is that it is situated in a hard to find spot (it's actually behind the Home Depot way off the main road).  There are no signs on the major road indicating where the hotel is and it's easy to pass.  Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel.
