We onyl stayed one night and we were literally only there at night to sleep. However, we were VERY pleased with out room and we had a spectacular view of the River, without requesting it ahead of time. I reserved the room on Hotels.com and had researched A LOT of places. Our room was beautiful, well designed and decorated. The mini-fridge buzzed a little but we took care of that with just a little tap on the door. The bed was comfortable and we slept wonderfully. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and knowledgable. I didn't get a chance to talk with the concierge, but he seemed like the old-skool story-telling type, maybe a local who has lived in Savannah for 30+ years. I would recommend this hotel.

Stayed here after reading yelp reviews. We were not disappointed! Nice rooms, comfy beds, clean and the employees were friendly and helpful. Loved the rooftop deck, the pool, views, exercise room. Breakfast was decent. Great location. And the price was right! Would definitely stay here again.

This place is GREAT! We found this place without knowing how good it would be, just because we stay at Holiday Inns a lot. It seemed we were staying in an upscale hotel. The room was very nice and clean, bed was very comfortable and everyone was friendly. The location was perfect!

You really can't ask for a better location than this - truly the perfect place to be! You can walk everywhere, but you're enough of a distance from the bars on Bay Street that you don't hear the raucous drunks. We stayed in a suite, and I thought the rooms were a little small for the rate, but everything was impeccably clean and the staff was very polite.

We pricelined this hotel for Columbus Day weekend - and were happy about the rate we received (which was about $50 less a night than the hotel itself and other sites advertised.) Score. The hotel is in a great location - East Bay Street is one up from River Street - and thus, we had a pretty cool view of the barges going down the river. (We didn't select the room on priceline, but did get a water view.) The hotel was clean, had a nice quiet bar downstairs, and also features a hot breakfast until 10am (late, by most standards.) We were happy with how clean it was - and it was a sold-out weekend from what we were told, but the other patrons weren't loud. The staff was reasonably friendly - though not as much as I anticipated for southerners (I'm a northeastern girl.)

The first night, my boyfriend and I turned in early. We were both up at unreasonable hours (traveling) - and needed some rest for the rest of the weekend. Housekeeping banged (and opened) the door at 9PM! Have no idea why - thankfully, the bolt was on. I went to the door - and he acknowledged it was the wrong room. Saturday rolled around - we had no replacement bath towels. Called twice to get some so we should shower for dinner. Saturday night, our microwave started beeping at 5am - no idea why. We actually had to unplug it from the wall. We were up on Monday morning (Columbus Day) - and had housekeeping knocking on the door AGAIN at 930am. Why ? No clue. Again, we had the door bolted with the"privacy" sign on. Check out is at 11am. My lord - I regretted not calling management Friday night.

Push came to shove - we were getting our car from the valet (35 minutes to get the car - we thought it broke down, but they just forgot where they put it) - I had a discussion with a lovely manager about our experience. They ended up crediting 2 nights of our stay and our parking fee.

Advice: contact management if you find an issue - regardless if it is an isolated event. I truthfully - wanted a happy weekend with someone I hadn't seen in 3 months - not a credit to my card.

I am giving the hotel 4 stars based on the cleanliness, location, view, and ease of booking. The attention from management is really what saved this review. I would recommend this hotel to others - but would advice the hotel that the housekeeping staff need some manners and additional training. I am sure that they will work to resolve these issues. (And hopefully - they were isolated to a 'holiday' weekend, with a full roster of guests.)

Great for a business trip or St. Patty's Weekend.

I have never stayed in the rooms, but I have stayed in the suite/apartments that are behind the Hotel and owned by whoever owns the Holiday Inn/Hampton Inn/Mulberry Inn.  If you call the Holiday Inn they can give you more info.

Had I only stayed here once I'd probably give it 3 stars. But I've come to Savannah a billion times for business, and after long term stays at several places, this is my preference.

You have a nice sized kitchen, large beds, large televisions, huge bathrooms, and privacy. You also have your own parking space (although random people park in your designated spot and you have to get the staff to take care of it).

You are within walking distance of quite a few restaurants, for a variety of tastes.

The staff is very friendly and will go out of their way to make you comfortable.

Is everything here perfect? No. But you can tell that the front desk associates are really trying to make a difference and raise the bar.

Breakfast? Meh. Bar? Meh. Location and Friendliness? TWO THUMBS UP.

Fantastic stay at this hotel.  The young lady at the front desk was incredibly friendly and the location simply cannot be beat.  We could walk to all of the wonderful restaurants and sites in the historic district from the hotel.  The room itself was in great condition.  Now I like my beds a bit
softer, but the hotel has to do what the brand tells them to do!  Free, hot breakfast as well. I'd definitely stay here again.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!!!

This hotel is a great value for a stay in Historic Savannah.  My husband and I had no idea even where to go our first night there...we set out to explore.  We stumbled upon River Street and had a wonderful time.  THis hotel is beautiful...we had a wonderful view of the historic district and they gave us a free voucher for parking on the street when the lot was full.

The rooms are spotlessly clean and neat and tidy.  I wouldn't ever consider staying anywhere else in Savannah.

You won't find a better location than this Holiday Inn Express, which is an easy walk to downtown eateries and attractions, and is just across the cobblestone arteries that lead to River Street.

Valet parking is worth the $14 per day, as parking in that area is cumbersome, and everything in downtown Savannah is walkable from the hotel.

The rooms were clean minus a few stains on the carpet and another on the wall under the window we couldn't discern what it might have been, but then again, maybe we didn't want to know. Aside from that, we were assigned to an adjoining room, even though I requested one without connecting doors on the web reservation, because my husband abhors them. We forgot to confirm it when we checked in, and by the time we had hauled our kids and our stuff up to the room after an almost four hour drive, he decided to overlook it this time.

From our seventh floor windows, we had a lovely view of the Savannah River and Bridge, but we could still hear some noise from the road. It didn't end up being a problem, but I was concerned about it because the only place big enough to set up the Pack N' Play for our 18-month-old was between one of the beds and the window.

Since we booked this hotel in part because of the allure of the rooftop pool described on their website the evening before, we were disappointed when we arrived to hear that it was closed for repairs. We were told we could use the pool across the street at the Best Western, which is not a rooftop pool. The idea of dragging our small kids and our pool gear across the street in our bathing suits was less than enticing, so we passed.

Breakfast was the typical cereals, bagels, muffins, toast yogurt, coffee and juices; the standouts were the bacon and sausage, which were better than one would expect. There are high chairs, but they don't have barriers that go between the legs of children that will keep smaller babies from falling through the openings.

I also left my purse at the breakfast table when we were rounding up the children, and didn't realize it until several minutes after I had returned to my room. When I returned for it, a staff member had rescued it and stored it safely, and all contents were intact.

If you are traveling to Savannah for a raucous St. Patrick's Day weekend, this certainly a place to consider.

Overall a very pleasant stay and hotel. Reasonably priced and the location is perfect. My group was a walk up after another hotel lost our reservation. Room was a little small for 4 people, but we made do just fine. I would totally recommend this place!

My wife and I stayed here several years ago and were very impressed with it. I even wrote a very glowing review of it. We stayed here for three days recently and I dont know what happened but the hotel's standards have slipped.  There were three main issues that concerned me.

One was that the wifi was spotty at best. We had an ipad and and iphone with us. Half the time the wifi was not working. We checked with another couple who were with us and were staying nearby and they experienced the same issues.

Two was that our room was not cleaned the first day that we were there. We left at 10 am and saw a maid in the room next door. We got back at about 4 and a maid said that she forgot to give us towels. She gave us the towels, but when we got into the room, the bed was not made, nor was the room cleaned.

Finally was the attitude of one of the valet parking attendants. We dropped off our car yesterday afternoon and when we got to our room, we realized that we had left something in our car. My wife called front desk. They transferred and she explained the problem to them. They said that they would bring the car around again so we could retrieve the item. I went down expecting the car to be there. When I got there it wasnt and the valet had such an attitude that I would up getting the keys from him, and going to where the car was parked in the adjacent garage and then getting the item myself.  If you are going to charge me for valet parking, dont give me an attitude when something like this happens.

We would have brought these issues to the managers attention, however we had a long drive home today and checked out at 5 am. We did not feel like bringing it the issues up then.

Overall this stay was a disappointment. There are a lot of other hotels in the same price range as this one in Savannah. We will be staying at one of them the next time that we are in town.

We really loved our stay!!  The room was huge, and really clean and we had a balcony overlooking Bay Street.
We'd had all the walking we could do, so we stayed in, but it was really nice....
There was a fantastic bartender in the downstairs bar, who let us take our drinks up to the rooftop patio & pool area.  That was a gorgeous view of the river!!  And the breeze was amazing.
There's a semi-enclosed area that made it seem private, even though it was still pretty wide open.
The parking and concierge were fantastic, too.  Such a great value for the location and amenities!!!

THANKS Yelpers - I wouldn't have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express if not for your recommendations.  This hotel is upscale and should consider a name change as it's better than its brand.  The corner room, bed and breakfast were terrific value.  Located right in the heart of the historic district it's within easy walking district of many parks, restaurants and museums.  Why pay $100 a night more to stay at Marriott and Hyatt brands a block away?  Stay at this excellent hotel and invest the savings in a very good dinner at the Olde Pink House restaurant only a few blocks away.

Recently stayed at Holiday inn in Savannah, wow what  a shocker.  Every year I usually stay at the Hyatt for a conference.  The Holiday Inn makes the Hyatt look like a motel 6.  The only suggestion I have is that the cleaning staff needs to do a better job.  Shower door was pretty nasty so makes me wonder about the rest of the hotel.
I would definitely stay again, especially of the price.

Savannah is known as the Hostess city. This hotel lives up to that.   We loved this place.  This hotel is in a perfect location at the corner of Bay Street and Abercorn Street.  It's just down the street from Reynolds Square and across the street from River Street and the River front shops, restaurants and bars.

Our room was amazing. It was on the eighth floor (top floor) and it had a sitting area with a pull out couch, a small flat screen TV (that could face the couch or the bed), a "bar" area with a sink,  refrigerator and  microwave with a large mirror.

The bed was very comfy with both firm and soft pillows. There was adequate black out curtains in the windows.  Speaking of windows our view was of the river facing east and the Hampton Hotel pool.

There was also a desk with a large mirror on the  wall in front of that.

The bathroom was large and great.  Adequate lighting a large mirror, a magnified shaving mirror, and a large shower (big enough for two).  The towels were soft and plentiful.

There was also a full length mirror in the room and a mirrored large closet for clothing as well as a 4 drawer dresser.

The hotel is lovely. They serve only breakfast. It is continental with eggs, pancakes (they have a cool machine that makes them), cereal, cinnamon buns, bacon, ham, toast, bagels and more.  It is complimentary with your stay.   There is a smallish rooftop pool with a hot tub as well as a fitness room.

The staff is also great. They left us a gift bag with a bottle of wine and some snacks for his birthday in our room with a lovely note.

I highly recommend this hotel. The prices are comparable with others in the area.

Great location to everything. Friendly staff for the most part. Rooms were clean and comfortable, however, the elevators were the dirtiest I have ever seen. I can't imagine why the cleaning staff doesn't take a moment to clean them. If I were running up to check out a room before renting it and had to get in the elevator I would have turned back. Would have liked to sit up on the roof near the pool to enjoy the view but the area closes with the pool.

Nice hotel.  Comfortable beds.  Great location with a short walk to the river and other nearby attractions.  I hate places that charge $20 for you to park your car.  There is a parking garage next door, but I'm unsure how much it cost.  Nice continental breakfast.

The hotel is in a good spot across River St. Its also near a lot of restaurants & bars. The bathroom wasn't totally spotless, but thats ok. We did notice what looked like a blood stain on the mattress under one of the pillows.

The staff was nice & helpful. Apparently the bartender's mother passed away so nobody was tending it. One of the front desk clerks quickly hopped over and served us beer.

Lovely location...you can walk to almost everything.  Staff is welcoming and helpful.  We got a great upgrade because of our Priority Club membership, to a deluxe river view room, which made the stay even better.  The room is spacious and comfortable, scrupulously clean, with plenty of outlets and lights, and convenient switches.  We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel. Didn't expect too much from a holiday inn express. The front desk staff overall was friendly although when I checked in, a guy assuming is the manager on staff was sort of strange in the sense that he didn't speak up. Not unfriendly but not the customer service I was expecting. I had a king sized bed room on the 2nd floor sort of overlooking the river walk. Expect for the street light shining in my window as well as the crosswalk light flashing constantly in the dark, it was fine. I would rec to request a higher level though. I didn't have them clean my room daily but when I did, they didn't bother replenishing the styrofoam cups. The breakfast was ok. Plenty of options but again didn't expect too much for a free meal. Very close proximity to everything!

Wonderful location!  The woman who checked us in was a little rude.  The nearby public parking garage was full, but we quickly realized we could overnight park at a meter right out front, which was a steal (free parking 5pm-8am, $1/hr thereafter).  We stayed on the 7th floor, and the ice machine was broken, which was a small inconvenience.  Clean, quiet room.  Nice hotel overall, especially for the price.  Paid $159 through kayak.

Excellent hotel. Stayed in Savannah one extra night and needed a place to stay so we moved here from a few doors down. Nice staff and very clean room. This will be our primary hotel the next time we're in Savannah. The AC is very quiet too, and we kept the room very cold. Good for light sleepers. The biggest takeaways are (1) very clean, (2) modern fittings, and (3) quiet.

Downtown Savannah equals FUN. If you want a nicer hotel without the high price, this is the place for you. There's a free breakfast from 6am - 10am. It's nothing fancy, but is fairly decent for free (eggs, bacon, cinnamon rolls, cereal, fruit, etc). There's a rooftop bar with a pool & hot tub, and it's worth going up just for the views. This hotel is within walking distance to many of Savannah's top restaurants (The Olde Pink House), shopping, & city tours. I would stay here again when visiting Savannah.

We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of our stay. The hotel is pretty old but appeared to be recently renovated. We had a room with a king bed, non-smoking, with a view. The view was amazing! The service in this hotel was pretty great too!

We didn't utilize the free continental breakfast during our stay, so can't comment on it.

The elevators were having issues while we were there, but worked nonetheless.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. It's in a great location, close to everything in the historic district to walk to except maybe a much desired Waffle House.

Clean, Super Friendly Staff, quiet for being on Bay Street. Large breakfast area, which is a plus, no waiting on a table, or having to share with a stranger. Rooms are nicely appointed, mine had a queen and a sofa bed. Microwave and a small refrigerator in the room, nice for leftovers, or a snack. Close to everything downtown. Walking distance to River Street, Bay Street and the City Market area. Did I mention the Super Friendly Staff? All of them are pleasant and willing to help. I didn't have any special requests, but if I did you can bet that the staff would accommodate it for you. One of the nicer places I have stayed at in a while.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. It's in a great location, walkable to anything and everything in the historic district, near the river. The rooms were nice and clean, with ample space, and the staff was very friendly. Our room overlooked the river which was just lovely. There is a $20 overnight parking charge but it seems that all the hotels in the area charge the same rate. Breakfast is included which is a nice bonus.  It's nothing fancy but it offers the basics. If you're looking for a more hearty or gourmet type breakfast, you're better off eating at a restaurant in the area. If we were to come back to Savannah, we would, without a doubt, stay here again!

We chose this hotel because it is in the heart of downtown Savannah and within walking distance of all points of interest.
If we had paid a *normal* rate per night, we would've been satisfied with the *normal* stay we had.  But, being that we paid an upwards of $300 for one night (including taxes and their $20 a day parking fee) we felt like the stay left much to be desired.
Starting with the positives:
The room and bathroom are nice to look at. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The front desk staff (when present) were friendly and helpful.

Now, with the negatives:
We spent a good amount of time looking for ... Just water. To drink. There was a vending machine available that offered snacks and an ice machine. We improvised and filled our bucket with ice and waited for it to melt so we could have drinking water available.

The shower head: in need of a change. Water spraying EVERYWHERE.

The pillows were soft and squishy, and there are two per person. If you're anything like my husband, though, you like a lot of pillows and there were no extras in the closet.

There is a strange smell lurking in all the hallways and rooms that is reminiscent of what a smoker's morning breath would smell like. The smell was so prominent that it woke me up in the middle of the night.  I'm wondering if there is a floor that allows smoking?

Housekeeping knocked on our door three times before 10 am.

We overheard the valet complaining about us as we got into our car that he got the "thank you very much" tip from us. I understand that these guys look forward to making tips, but when you charge every guest $20 a day just to park the car, isn't it part of the job description of the valet to park and retrieve your car?  Maybe if we'd been happy patrons, we would've given more of an effort to tip.

This is one of my favorite Holiday Inn Express locations. It feels like a much more expensive hotel when you walk into the lobby, but still offers all the great pricing and amenities of the Holiday Inn Express chain. They even validate your parking at the public garage next door.

Location is awesome and you are in walking distance of almost anything in the Historic District. For example, River Street (with it's heavenly smelling candy shops) is just across the street and down the cobblestone steps. Many of the Squares are close by and of course you just have to go to Paula Deen's or Mrs. Wilkes!!! The Pink House and Telfair Museum are also nearby.

They have a rooftop pool with great views of the harbor, suspension bridge and a nice exercise room just inside from the pool. Breakfast is nothing to get excited about, but it's free and a good variety of hot and cold items. Very attractive building, comfy beds, VERY CLEAN facilities & rooms, and really nice staff make this an ideal central hub to visiting this charming city.

This hotel is a really good deal. Its location is great-- right across the street from the river and in the middle of the historic district. We also got a really good rate compared to the competition, and the room was really nice and clean. I feel like you don't always know what you're going to get with a Holiday Inn, but I have no complaints.

Provided toiletries included shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, lotion and bar soap. Also, if you need any other basic toiletries (toothpaste, toothbrush, shaving cream, razor, etc.) they will provide them for free. My boyfriend called the front door to request shaving cream, and the manager showed up at our door with a whole box. The rooms have hair dryers as well.

Wifi is free (I hate when hotels charge extra).

For parking, you can pay $12 a day to park in the public garage immediately next door or $20 for hotel valet. The valet parks you in the reserved monthly spots in the same garage, so it's only worth it when the public spots are full.

The breakfast is standard hot hotel fare, so it's good if you're looking for a quick bite early in the morning but otherwise I'd definitely recommend heading to local restaurants.

I honestly can't say anything new or different about this hotel. You can't beat the convenience or the free breakfast. I was overjoyed when I saw gluten free bagels! What a nice touch! I loved staying here.

One thing that knocked down my rating--I paid $20 for Valet parking only to find out later that their go-to spot is the roof of the parking garage. The rest of the floor was empty. Why not move my car 10 spots so that it's not in the 100 degree sun during the summer? I was horrified and promptly moved it. Beware if you are valet parking!

We are currently in Savannah for the Rock n Roll Marathon and we've been blown away with the friendly, attentive, and conscientious staff.

We just got a phone call regarding a hit and run with our car-- the valet staff (Alfont) noticed a ding, reviewed video, and are working on reporting the incident for us. This situation is out of the hotel staff and our control-- but they are doing their best to reconcile the situation with the utmost courtesy and care.

Any hotel can have clean bathrooms and comfortable beds-- but quality and genuine customer care is hard to come by. We are by far impressed and will remain loyal because of our consistent excellent experiences with the Holiday Inn chain. Thank you for taking care of us and keep up the good work!

I agree with all of the previous positive feedback on this hotel.  Very convenient to most of the "must see" attractions.  Friendly staff and clean, comfortable rooms.  A tad pricey, and the King room was kind of small in regard to other similar plaves I've stayed, buy it's all about location location location.  Despite being street side on the very busy Bay St., the room was very quiet as street noise.  Good windows I guess.

Awesome location across from river st. Trolley stop across street.  Free wifi.  Free hot breakfast. Fridge and microwave. Concierge knowledgeable. Front desk staff attentive and friendly.

Valet parking $20 per day and slow service. Public parking next door but always full. Bar was not open late and very limited drink offerings.  Slow elevator. Not enough luggage carts.

I would recommend.

Stayed here with my husband in October 2013.  Like many other people have said, the location is AWESOME.  It's a short walk down to the Riverwalk and to multiple restaurant districts.  We had a spacious corner room facing the river.  The furnishings were still nice and the bed was comfy.

The amenities were pretty nice.  The rooftop pool and hot tub are awesome.  They weren't overly crowded and there are plenty of chaise chairs.  The gym was pretty standard for a HIE - two treadmills and an elliptical.  Breakfast was typical for a HIE - eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, breads, cereals, instant oatmeal, and fruit.  It was pretty busy when we arrived but by the time we had our food, a table had opened up.   Coffee, tea, and cocoa are available all day.

The only drawback is the cost.  The rooms are expensive plus it's $20 to valet park the car.  Fortunately, in-and-out privileges are included!

My wife and I stayed here for four nights while visiting Savannah. The hotel location is great for visiting the historic district, though it is on one edge so about a 20 minute walk to the Savannah Visitor Center or to places like Mrs Wilkes. There is self-parking as well as valet, expect to use the valet as the self-parking lot is often full. The valet staff was excellent, we never waited more than five minutes for our car to be brought around, and we almost never needed the car anyway. Check-in was fast and the lobby and lounge areas are very comfortable. They have free breakfast available which is convenient and can save you a few $$$ compared to the local restaurants.

The room was nice, though a bit small and slightly outdated in terms of available outlets. So many hotels now have USB charging connections, but they haven't yet installed them in this hotel. They offered free wi-fi, but the signal was very poor and nearly unusable which is why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars. There were just two elevators and they were a bit slow, so sometimes we had to wait to get up or down, and most of the time we just walked down the stairs (we were on the second floor). The street noise was minimal, though one evening there were some guests that arrived in the early AM on motorcycle and they spent a few minutes idling below our room. There is an outdoor pool on the roof which was small and usually occupied with children.

The location was great for us, several area restaurants were within a five minute walk including B Matthews (great for any meal, but make reservations) and Vic's (wonderful). It's only a few minute walk to the riverfront, though we found that area to be too much of a tourist trap as our tastes lean towards historic homes. Highly recommended as a great option if you want to stay economically in the historic district.

They accepted the Gov Rate. Woo Hoo!  The location was good.  The room was clean.  The concierge was nice.  Probably one of the nicest holiday inns I have ever stayed at.  The valet parking is a little pricey, and the breakfast is not free, but otherwise this place was pretty good for the amount we were paying.  If I go back for business again, I will stay again.

One of the best parts of Savannah!!  The staff at this hotel are unbelievable!  Cleanest rooms I've ever seen at a hotel!  If you plan to stay here, there is no need to have a rental car while you stay; it is within walking distance from everything.  We had a great balcony room overlooking Bay Street for the remarkable fireworks on the 4th of July.   Even though Bay is a busy street until 3am or 4am, we couldn't hear any of the folks getting smashed below.

Continental breakfast and fruit infused water throughout the day along with a complimentary concierge!  I do need to do a shout out to the ladies working the continental breakfast, "Our little guy misses your smiles"!

I stayed for 2 nights while in town for a conference. Booked with rewards points, which was a plus for me.  I was able to check in with out issue, the room was nice and clean, spacious and has a microwave.  Standard breakfast in the morning if you don't want to pay for breakfast elsewhere.  Within walking distance to the historic distance and to Bay St. and the River.

Valet Parking is $15 a day if you're a platinum member, $20 if not.  I will say though, that booking with points shouldn't be an excuse to not give you a receipt when you check out though!

We stayed here for 3 nights during a recent trip to Savannah. It is a very clean and comfortable hotel. The staff are very courteous and attentive. They were working on the elevators during this trip and kept apologizing for the wait while one elevator was down.

The room was clean and comfortable with a few of the river. The kitchenette was very clean and convenient. The bathroom is updated and spotless with plenty of towels. The breakfast is one of the best I've seen for a continental breakfast. I had the biscuits and sausage gravy as that is my favorite food ever...it was really good!

The bar , the Port Royal Tavern, has a great happy hour. Our bartenders- Rocky and Ken, were super nice and very friendly with a lot of suggestions for sights and dining. They do close pretty early which is unfortunate as I would probably have ended most nights there.

The parking is the only downside really. You can park for $20 a day with the valet (unlimited in/out). The garage is always full for private parking. There is on-street parking availbable (free after 5) but be mindful of the sweeping hours and such. We went cheap this time but next time I would probably just use the valet.

This is our new go-to hotel in Savannah.

The location is great and the staff is very friendly and helpful. You would think when you make a reservation 10 months in advance and check in first thing in the morning, you would get a room with a better view than staring straight at the parking garage.

Just spent 5 days in Savannah.  The hotel had very friendly staff, updated rooms, good breakfasts, great location and a good price.  Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was in walking distance so we only used the car once.

The only cons were the elevators as one wasn't always working.  Luckily, we stayed on the 2nd floor so we used the stairs.  Also, the mattress was very firm and the fridge was only partially cool.  We only used it for water so it didn't matter to us.
