Nice hotel. Rooms were very nice. The front desk staff was very friendly and efficient. I would stay here again.

After having to stay in Savannah for another night unexpectedly, we left the airport and immediately saw the Holiday Inn Express on the right.  We drove up to the hotel and walked in and we noticed how clean and new it looked.  The lady behind the counter was very friendly and let us know that they had rooms available that we could have immediately (as we had arrived at approximately 12:30 - so about 2 and a half hours before normal check in.)

We were given a room on the top floor...room 329.  We walked in and noticed that the room was larger than your standard hotel.  There was a couch and coffee table, a computer desk and then the beds.  The room was very clean.

That night, we did not hear a thing in the hotel... it was very quiet and we slept very sound.  The bed was comfortable.

We had to leave the hotel at 5:30am so we were not able to take advantage of the free hot breakfast  which started at 6:30am but we were told that the breakfast included pancakes and eggs and wasn't just the standard continental breakfast.

Im rating this hotel 2 stars for anything negative, except..... PAPER THIN WALLS! You hear everything. Every night I heard my neighbor call his wife and snore, all night long. All the doors slam shut so that is a nuisance as well. the door has a big gap under it so light shines through and it amplifies footsteps down the hall and house keeping starting to clean at about 730am.

Other that that, the staff is super nice, and the the rooms are clean and spacious. If I am back in Savannah, I might try somewhere else.

My husband and I stayed here in October 2013.  We chose this holiday inn express because of its proximity to the airport and low cost.  This is a recently renovated property, which meant that everything was brand spanking new.  The  furniture and bedding were awesome (which can't be said for most holiday inn expresses!).

The breakfast was standard holiday inn express fare, which met my expectations.  Sausage gravy and biscuits, egg pucks, instant oatmeal, cereal, bagels, donuts, and the like.  It's nice that the breakfast and free wi-fi is included in the price.  There is plenty of parking and a nice indoor pool and workout room.

The only drawback: the walls are really really thin.  People in the hall sounded like they were IN OUR ROOM.  It was kind of creepy.  I kept checking to make sure I had actually closed the door.  It was manageable since we were only there for one night, but I can imagine that it would get really old if I was there for several nights.  Just make sure they put you on the top floor away from other guests if possible!
