I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Historic Savannah during a girls weekend trip with my mom for her birthday( my first time in this awesome town)! Not only was the customer service outstanding, but the newly renovated hotel surpassed all of our expectations! The comfortable rooms were accompanied by a reasonably priced all you can eat breakfast buffet and a quaint bar for pre-dinner drinks. The location was convenient to both the City Market (fun shops and restaurants) as well as the River walk (more fun shops and restaurants) . I am looking forward to my next visit to Savannah and will definitely be staying at the Holiday Inn!

We cannot recommend this hotel at all. The first room (2nd floor) we got was musty and dingy- from the carpet to the chair. My boyfriend even started having some asthma issues. While he was taking a puff from his inhaler, I decided to do my routine bed bug check and pulled back the corners of the sheets and guess what?!? No bed bugs, but instead dirty, old, crusty men's underwear falls out from between the mattress and the box spring!!! Ewww!!!
We immediately spoke to management and they moved us to the renovated 5th floor. Great...much cleaner and no asthma issues.
So the next day we leave for a while and get back to our room around 1pm to find housekeeping in our room despite our "Shhh- privacy please" sign on our door knob. That has always had the 'do not come in, we do not need housekeeping' meaning in our minds. We had valuables and intimate items laying around (lol, who hasn't?!)...and to top it off when I asked the housekeeper why she went in our room when we had the sign up and she actually said "I didn't think you really meant it". OMG, why wouldn't we mean it??
So another call was made to management and all we were compensated for the whole debacle was a free breakfast. LOL, why would we eat at this clearly crazy hotel? So instead we asked for free valet service and did receive that instead.
We'll gladly give the hotel 1 star for the good location and nice valet service people- Josh and Kim, BUT they did change the computer settings on our car and that wasn't appreciated. Despite management's efforts to rectify these issues, we will never stay here again. Ugh.

First I worried about staying here because somebody posted 1 star. I entered the hotel and got impressed. Nice decollation with cute furniture. It seems like they have free coffee 24/7. There is a concierge room. One part is under construction. A tiny bar is at the corner.
I'm an IHG member. Front desk asked me which I prefer free drinks at bar or extra points. I went to the bar right away. They don't have many things. Just simple common stuff. The bartender is FANTASTIC! He has great experiences at many places and the southern accent. I really enjoyed his stories and tips about local bars and breweries. i wished I could have drunk out.
The room was Junior feet. i got a free upgrade somehow. Amazing view. Bed room and living room and bathroom. Good size. No fridge and no microwave. Super clean.
It was about $150. A good deal for all of this above. Also it is good location. Cool riverside area and a local brewery are in walking distance.
