This was probably the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I found a German cockroach in my room, there was no coffee at the "complementary breakfast" and they double charged my credit card for my stay. I called them three times to get refunded to no avail and finally had to file a claim with my credit card company.

Tiffany at the front desk provided excellent service. She's hard working and goes over and beyond. Thank you from Palm Coast Fl Girl Scouts!!!!!

My wife and found this to be clean, comfortable, courteous and cheap!  We have stayed at several motels at exit 94 on I 95 over the years because it's roughly halfway between our home in Orlando and relatives in NC.  Haven't been happy at all with them.  Glad we found this gem.  Breakfast is a bit Spartan but adequate and included.  Just don't eat at the nearby Cracker Barrel...it isn't good!  Will recommend this place to friends.

This place is a 3 at best.  I give it 3 for the comfortable beds and nice desk person.  There were shady characters everywhere, which I know isn't the hotels fault... But! Based on the security cameras in the halls I'd day this is a regular occurrence. The walls are thin and there were doors slamming all night.  The breakfast was pretty pitiful.  At 8 on a Saturday the best they had was some raisin bran.  The biscuits were sitting out, no gravy on the table (empty) and a long line at the waffles.  For the price I assumed there might be yogurt and fruit... Maybe some eggs? I won't stop here again.  Good proximity to a few eating choices.

They accept pets with no additional fee unless they leave a mess. On a Memorial Holiday weekend and traveling with a pet, I'm grateful. My doggie and I thank Tiffany (lobby worker/manager) and Red Roof Inn. Free WiFi! Clean and updated room! Clean bathroom! Refrigerator, microwave, and desk with executive chair.  On our way back down south, we might stop back here again!

The smell of the local "Paper Mill" (is what I was told) woke me up at 4:30am. We had to turn off the AC (in July) because the smell was so bad. You can hear everything in the room above you ,so beware. The room was clean, bathroom not so much. The lady at the front desk was very polite. We didn't get our money's worth in rest & that's why you have a hotel to begin with so overall I had to give it 2 stars.

I know they say you get what you pay for but I at least expect clean sheets in a room that costs over $90 a night. The room was worst than some $10 hostels I've stayed in. The room had dirt and grime both on the sheets and in the bathrooms. Even when we were moved to another room because the first was dirty, we were unpleasantly surprised by an old dried up blood stain on the comforter. We told the staff and he was not willing to give us a refund. We had to leave in the middle of the night to find another hotel because this was just unacceptable.

For the price it was fine.  The room was bare bones but it was clean and got the job done.  My only complaint would be the loud noise the bathroom exhaust made.  It sounded like a plane taking off or a food processor breaking stones.

I was really impressed with the service.  The front desk was extremely helpful and everyone was friendly.  There is free wi-fi and full breakfast.  I'm curious to know why motels can offer free wi-fi while the Marriott's and Sheraton's of the world charge $12 / night.

My husband and I stayed one night here after a day in Savannah and before heading up to Charleston, SC the next day. We got a pretty good deal on Kayak via Hotels.com , though the rate of the room on the door was less than what we paid. Still, it was very close to the interstate and some of the cheapest gas stations we saw through the entirety of our trip, as well as a shopping district, which was super convenient as we were up there from Florida where we hadn't found a good deal on cold weather clothing (wound up finding tons of great deals at the Target down the road). Check in was easy and friendly. Our room was clean and very nice considering this is a 2-star hotel. TV had a good selection. We did hear some knocking on the walls at night but as we were at the very end of our hallway by a vending area, I imagine it was just the machinery making it's usual noises... nothing too dramatic that kept us up. Shower water was HOT, which was heavenly, but the towels were quite rough... perhaps I would bring my own from home if I ever stayed here again. Breakfast was perfect, with a waffle iron, mini muffins, toast, cereal and coffee. All in all we had a fine experience here and wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

I was pleasantly surprised. We got our money's worth. Great for pets too. But keep in mind they will not clean the room if your pet is in there even if they are crated. The maids are Indian and most don't understand English except Jay. Bring your own towels. Theirs are awful. The first morning I went for breakfast and they were out of coffee and food except for cold cereal. Not all rooms have coffee pots. But there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Pillows and bedding very comfortable. Don't count on toiletries. Two bars of soap and a packet of shampoo.  We stayed on the 3rd floor at the end. Perfect. Would I stay again? Absolutely!! Just giving you a heads up. There is a guy that will try to charge 15.00 a night for your pet. The first pet is free. So make sure they don't charge you. But it was a great place. We paid 52-55.00 per night. So it was a good deal.

The Hotel looked good while stepping into the front desk. Luggage carts and Elevators make for easy baggage transportation. Though Breakfast isn't stocked well and the rooms are clean but poorly constructed. The doors did not even fit the door jambs and the walls were thin so privacy might be an issue.

Also there is no smoking in any rooms.

The staff is very unprofessional. The breakfast bar is a joke. I will never return. Two thumbs down.

Stayed here just for one night. The lady at the front desk upon check in was very nice. I came with my one dog and they gave me a room on the second floor right next to the stairs to the dog area it was perfect and easy to take my dog out. The room was nice and clean. One of the cleaner nicer rooms I stayed in on my trip across country. The staff checking in and out was very friendly. I would come back here again.

    Do. Not. Stay. Here.

I booked this hotel for 3 nights, just wanting a decent place to sleep and wifi to work during the day. Unfortunately I could neither sleep nor work here because it is SO loud. The ceilings and walls are paper thin. I was on the second floor (there are 3) and the noises from the floor above me were so loud at all times of the day that I could feel the bed I was laying in move and the room door shake. This was not a one time occurrence, but happened at all hours of my stay. I called the front desk one of the nights while the movement upstairs was shaking my room at midnight, and nothing was done about it. I could have gotten a better night's sleep in my car in the parking lot, honestly. Even wearing ear plugs, I could literally feel my bed shaking from the excessive and loud movement upstairs. You can hear everything -- doors slamming, people jumping, running, walking, PEEING in the toilet above you.

Will never stay here again and super disappointed that I still have one more night here.

Clean room, nice lobby, staff was very friendly. My only complaint would be the state of the shower. The shower was stained, and the shower floor itself seemed to sink in when you step on it. But for $100 I had a good night's sleep and the breakfast in the morning was a plus. Overall I would return again.
