What a great location for this hotel-right across from River Street.  The staff was always helpful-kindly offering directions, recommendations, and help when they could.  The room was great and we had a nice street view.  The valet parking is really not worth it-$12 per day and they park your car in a garage one block behind the hotel.  It was much more reasonable to park out front on the street and for 50 minute increments (25 cents for 50 minutes).  On days when we left the car parked all day, it cost no more than $3.  Animal friendly-a lot of people had their dogs with them.

This hotel is awesome! You should definitely consider staying here!

My parents and I stayed there last fall when I was moving to Savannah to go to SCAD. We went a few days before move in day to get acquainted with the city. We booked the room through the SCAD Travel Department (they can get discounted hotel rates for SCAD students, FYI). It is in a great location, right across the street from River Street, a very fun, semi-touristy place full of eating and shopping. And Downtown Savannah is very small and you can walk anywhere you need to go.

There were 4 of us in the room and it was plenty comfortable for us. There were 2 queen (I think) beds and a kitchenette with a full size fridge, microwave, and stove. The staff is as nice as could be and everything is very clean. There is a happy hour for guests with drinks and snacks and breakfast in the morning.

All in all, it was just perfect for us and I highly recommend it and would stay here again.

Nice room, switched me to a window room---there are rooms in the interior that only open to the hallway---yuck!   Nice front room, great fireplace.  Wonderful food setup---breakfast and snacks at night.  

Only issue was the free wi-fi.  It would be okay and then cut out.  A real issue.  I see from other posters that this has been an issue before.  I am going to give three stars because of this.

Loved this hotel!!! The staff was unbelievable.  Doesn't get any nicer or friendlier than the people that work there.  We recently stayed there and it was our first time in Savannah.  The location is excellent.  Right across the street is River Street.  But you are within walking distance to everything.  The rooms are clean and spacious.  You've got your own little kitchen, which is good when you've got kids.  The breakfast is pretty good too.  And if your traveling with pets, this is the hotel for you.  They are pet friendly.  I will definitely stay here, if I'm in Savannah again.

I stayed here while in town on a business trip and had a great experience.The staff was helpful and pleasant with everything and the room was perfect. I also enjoyed the location as it was close to the spot where I could catch the ferry to the convention center.
Overall a great experience.

Loved our corner room two walls of windows facing the street.The rooms were clean and you can`t beat the location.$9 for parking overnight which is the least I have ever paid in a city.I can't speak for other rooms however.

This place is all about the location.  Otherwise it is not great.  Very small but telling point, the cleaning staff couldn't be bothered to set the clock in the room.  No tissue.  Interior room with a view of other rooms.  Not again.

Very nice hotel and great location. This place is walking distance to all of the major city attractions, is across the street from the waterfront and is also nice and quiet. I highly recommend. Also has more character than the other chain hotel options nearby.

This was a fantastic choice. We got a great government/military rate and the location was perfect.  It was near everything and safe.  You do have to pay for parking which is to be expected in the downtown area.  The breakfast is great and the evening food and drinks was great also.  I have not met a ore friendly staff in a long time.  Maids greeted us warmly in the hallways, while looking at brochures a couple stopped to give us advice and answer questions, the front desk was courteous and quick, the management was visible and walked around checking on everyone, and the concierge desk was on top of things.  Our room was standard with a little kitchen and desk.  Clean and everything worked well. We did get a handicap accessible room for some reason and the way the shower was set up wasn't great since it got the whole bathroom floor wet, but it wasn't a big deal.  I would definitely recommend this place to others.

This is a no frill hotel, however it seems to have more frills then most others. I was able to get wi-fi throughout my stay, there wasn't any trouble with it. It just required me to log in again each time I closed the computer. They also have a business center that you can utilize if you don't have your laptop with you.
They also have free breakfast for the guest, and they didn't charge me extra on the 5th person. I particularly liked their guest area with the fireplace. It was very comforting, warm and definitely one of the better ones I have seen in a while.
The staff was friendly - particularly the night shift, with the occasional one or two (kitchen) that couldn't bring it to themselves to say excuse me when they were in the way. Fortunately, you don't need to deal with them on a one on one basis.
I definitely will consider staying here again on future visits to Savannah.

Check in was fast. The front desk staff offered to move her car so a guest could park closer as it was raining. All of the cleaning staff were so cheerful. Good free breakfast. Nice room our view not so good but if you were on the front side of building it would be sweet!  Great hotel for the money in a great location!

This was a very nice hotel and you couldn't ask for a better location. Since we were going to be visiting for a while, we needed a suite-style hotel that provided kitchens. Those types of hotels, at least the affordable ones, are usually way out in the middle of nowhere, but not Staybridge. The rooms were very nice with very adequate kitchens. They have a happy hour in the lobby, which is a beautiful room with huge windows facing Bay St. The breakfast was pretty lame unless you like scrambled eggs and bacon and danishes and all sorts of heart attack inducing foods. The staff was really helpful and parking is included (for a fee) just behind the hotel, which is amazing when you're staying downtown. For the price, it was a really nice place to stay.

The location can't be beat.  The hotel is close to absolutely everything.  We were disappointed to find out that the king suite we reserved was unavailable and we were stuck in a double instead for our trip.  The room itself was nice and clean.  Unfortunately, we were right on Bay Street, so the road and sidewalk noise could be a little annoying at night or in early morning before we were really awake.  The hotel is dog-friendly, which was great for us.  Outside of a crying dog waking us up one morning, you wouldn't have known there were other dogs in the building.  Other than the king/double mixup, our only real complaint were the other guests.  Some people were so horribly rude.  Put breakfast or a sundowner reception in front of some people and they just lose control, I suppose.  The staff was super friendly and the breakfasts were good.  Would definitely consider staying again.

Boutique-style rooms with nice little kitchenettes. We stayed on the Bay Street side with a nice picture window view of the downtown activity and pretty little square. Great beds and very clean. Had a problem with our TV and they quickly fixed it. I'd recommend for a downtown Savannah stay. Close to SCAD. Reasonable. Excited about the complimentary hot breakfast. And, our concierge is knowledgeable and helpful.

Nice room and great service.  TIP:  Ask for an outside room, otherwise your window will look into the interior of the building which is both creepy and claustrophobic! Morgan at the front desk was a doll!

Clean, free breakfast buffet was nice with occasional free dinner like nachos.
Nice kitchen with stove top, microwave, frig with supplied popcorn and dish washer.

Small gripes: Free wireless connection keeps on cutting out requires numerous "forget SIDD and reconnect".   The TV is a bit blurry (not HD quality) and the TV remote has limited range.

Staybridge did an adequate job of re-purposing this historic building. Though smaller than the typical hotel room of the day, our 2 bed suite was clean and comfortable. The beds were quite cozy and the hotel was quiet.
The complimentary breakfast was fully stocked and the concierge was very friendly.
Access to River St. is just across the street via a good set of stairs. Also, this location is near east end of River st. so you don't have to go far in BOTH directions.
Only staying one night we didn't get to take advantage of Straybridges sundowner reception, but I have on extended stays at their other properties and have been impressed. On one two week stay I took advantage of it most nights as an alternative to eating out in a restaurant.
Parking sucks - to be expected in a downtown location.

Situated right off River Street, it is hard to beat this location in the historic district. It was our first time in Savannah and the perfect place to stay to be near it all.

The room was nice. It had plenty of space for us and included a kitchenette, which I didn't think we'd need but actually came in very handy with leftovers from our delicious Savannah meals. Our view onto the street and park was perfect, complimented by the frequent taps of horse carriages strolling by.

The lobby was really nice and huge, with plenty of tables to sit and work or relax with a cup of coffee. The complimentary breakfast was surprisingly good compared to other free hotel breakfasts I've had.

The staff wasn't overly enthusiastic, but friendly enough. One of the employees helped select our restaurant the first night and made an excellent choice for us.

I'd happily stay here again. It would be a great place for extended stays as there's laundry service, a gym, a business center, and of course the kitchenettes. I heard they have a cocktail hour on some weekdays, but unfortunately we weren't there for that.

Ideally, I would like to give this hotel 4.5 stars!
This place is really great!  

We came here for Labor Day weekend.  This was my first stay in a Staybridge Suite and I'm definitely coming back to this one.

The location can't get any better than this (for the price): right on River Street, maybe only a few blocks away from the center of things.  Everything is within walking distance.  

I came to Savannah last year and stayed in a cheaper hotel outside of the historic district, but ended up spending the difference in hotel price on parking fees in the various parking decks.  This was perfect!  The parking right behind the hotel was very convenient and I found the $9 a day very reasonable.

We had a room on the first floor with view of the street, which I thought was very neat.

The room was very clean, the beds are comfortable, and the shower pressure was excellent (one of my biggest pet peeves in hotels!).

The free breakfast was great, considering the long lines I witnessed outside of some of the popular brunch spots.

The only minor annoyance to me was the staff setting up the breakfast.  We had to be somewhere very early in the morning and were hoping to get breakfast just 5 minutes before the official opening time at 7:30am (on weekends).  However, the ladies setting up the breakfast were guarding that buffet like their jobs depended on it and even though food was already sitting out, they told us we couldn't get any of it yet.  I also got yelled at when I grabbed a bagel with my hands, because I couldn't find the tongs.  Give me a break!!  I also was disappointed that they ran out of waffle batter on Monday morning.... that was the best part!!!

So, maybe next time I'll make my own breakfast, if I have to be somewhere in a hurry... I'll definitely be back again!!!

I found Staybridge Suites, Savannah Historic District, to be mixed. First, the name is inaccurate as what I had was in no way a suite but was one smallish room with a kitchen in the corner, an arrangement I found trashy and reminiscent of a cheap rooming house.  Second, some things are excellent---location is good and breakfast was generous, so this review should not be taken as 100% criticism. STILL, we come to, Third: I was inconvenienced by confusion. One evening my room was accidentally registered to someone else, a man who arrived with a key and opened my door before the desk could realize the mistake and warn me---I had just gotten out of the shower (I am an old lady and was traveling alone). A few hours later I was awakened by a maid entering my room with her key---later she apologized and said "I just got mixed up---I wanted another room".  When I then called downstairs about all the confusion, the girl on the desk refused to give me her name. Later, when I finally got back to sleep, she phoned and woke me (again) to tell me I would get a free night as apology for the confusion.  I never heard any more about that and my bill was not reduced. The next day I got a stern and dismissive call from a manager telling me I was not to worry for my security as Staybridge Suites is secure (after my room had already been breached twice).  When I checked out several days later, I asked the concierge to call a taxi for me for the next morning, but next morning no taxi showed up and he turned out to have called a startup company that Yellow Cab later told me "has only two cars". So my general impression of this hotel is that it hasn't got its act together, and I doubt I would stay there again.

Yeah, I know. There are a ton of fancy hotels and B&Bs all over Savannah, but for the location and overall value, I was very happy with Staybridge Suites (part of Holiday Inn properties). Pretty much everything is within walking distance of the hotel, including plenty of dining and shopping along Bay and River Streets, as well as the numerous sites in the Historic District. The hotel is bigger than it seems and the room with kitchenette was neat and clean. They also host an evening reception in the large lobby, if you're so inclined. Parking, either directly behind the hotel or in the neighboring parking garage, is only $12/day, a great deal considering nearby metered street parking is very limited from 30 min to two hours. A great find at a great price!

First of all I have to compliment the staff! They were so friendly and nice, and informative about recommending places in the area. I was greeted every time I walked into the lobby, and they remembered me each time-referencing prior conversations.
The rooms were nice and clean.
They had a nice complimentary breakfast in the morning, and coffee all day.
The location is amazing and parking is reasonable compared to other hotels.

I have to preface this review by saying that I used my Priority Club Points for this stay so I can't really comment on prices as I really didn't look.

I'm a big fan of Staybridge. I travel fairly extensively and and stay in them whenever the opportunity presents itself, especially when traveling with my wife. We appreciate the space their suites generally provide, especially when we well be somewhere for more than a couple of days.

The lack of this space is my only real problem with this property. This property should never have been branded a Staybridge. That branding brings with it a expectation on the part of customers who have stayed at other Staybridge properties that these rooms simply do not meet. In fact, I considered our first room tiny and cramped. It lacked a workspace other than the kitchenette counter. No normal chairs only stools. and barely enough floorspace to maneuver around in.

Our second room (there was a leak in the first on day 2) was slightly better. It lacked a counter but had a desk and significantly more floorspace.

These issue are due to the restrictions placed on the build by being in the Historic District, so it is not entirely their fault. But they would have been much better served foregoing the "kitchens," freeing up that space and branding the place a Crowne Plaza.

OK, with that said, the place has a fabulous location. Easily within walking distance of much of the Historic District. The beds were quite comfortable and rooms clean and fresh. We had none of the housekeeping or bed type issues encountered by some others who have reviewed it here.

But perhaps the most appealing aspect of this property is the staff. I have stayed in well over a thousand hotels all over the world over the years, from 5 Star to motels and the staff at this hotel was, by far, the most pleasant, polite, and accommodating that I have ever encountered. And this goes for the maintenance staff, buffet minders, front desk personnel and managers who were constantly wandering around asking if there was anything they could do to make our stay better.

Now that I know what to expect, I would most likely return when in the area again.

Right off Bay St. Walk across the street and you are at River street and the water front. Old TV didn't have HDMI inputs, at these price, time for upgrades!  They were upgrading some rooms, carts for tools and stuff in the way outside the room all day.  The roof ladder was down for 2 days blocking part of the emergency exit stairwell.  The room was clean, a fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, and kitchen utensils! They have a nice complimentary breakfast in the morning, and coffee all day.  Couple of Manager specials 2 evening we were there, food and drinks during Happy Hour. Small parking lot out back, over flow is on top floor of the parking garage a little farther down the block.  Staff was friendly and helpfully.

Room was nice and clean, loved having a fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, and kitchen utensils! It was like I brought my apartment with me!

Staff was friendly, prompt and courteous; I appreciate their zeal with which they greeted us (I'm definitely a morning person; perhaps non-morning persons would not enjoy this as much, ha!). Even the food prep staff were enjoyable. Ms. Euris looked at me one night this week and said, "you /are/ coming to have quesadillas tonight, aren't you?" I almost felt like I was at home, or at a boarding house, with a momma looking over my shoulder, making sure I was getting my three square meals.

Breakfasts and dinner receptions were solid and pretty good for complementary meals. Breakfast spreads included grits, scrambled and hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereals, baked goods, waffle makers, fresh fruit, oatmeal and sausage or bacon. Dinner (Tues-Thurs) varied from night to night, but I was refreshingly surprised that they had Red Hare (beer local to ATL) on tap in addition to Bud Light. Cool points to Staybridge Suites.

Add all this on top of the EXTREMELY convenient location?

Yes, yes, yes, yes.

I will definitely be returning.

The hotel has a pretty decent sundowner reception (Tues-Thurs) from 5:30-7:30 pm.  Totally awesome deal for budget travelers!!  It changes up per week though.  I had a hot dog, burger and side salad for dinner tonight. Check the Yelp photos for a calendar of food being served.

Okay , maybe I could squeak out 1 and 1/2 more stars but the front desk has completely poisoned my attitude.  Only been here for 5 hours and this hotel that wants to be like the other big boy hotels in downtown Savannah can't seem to staff 2 people at the front desk, no matter what time it is.  Judging from what I see much of the staff that should know better seem to be hiding on permanent break somewhere in the bowels of this re-done building in the historic district of old Savannah.  There is NO excuse for not taking care of customers at the front counter in a timely fashion, (unless they all walk in at the same time).  I usually find it hard not to afford 4 stars for a Staybridge anywhere.  This is all about poor management, not the rank and file.  Sorry if your short and your a manager, roll up your sleeves and jump on those customers.  Simple.

Other than this major annoyance, yes because it's a rebuild historic building, so the rooms are slightly smaller than most Staybridge hotels, the AC works great, we have all the kitchenette trappings we will ever need, the beds are fine and the internet does actually works though slowly etc.  So if it were not for my rant on a major flaw where the customer meets the business, I probably would have given the full 4 stars.

It now seemed that two people can be spotted at the front counter for about 2 days in a row, though off and on.  That was progress.  The chief building support engineer (or Jack of getting all things done, no matter what his job description) seemed to have gone into customer service overdrive by day 3 of our stay.  He was doing everything from meet and greets during all social events along with his usual laundry list of hotel issues.  Kudos to this can-do attitude.  

Other issues:  On day 3 in the early afternoon, boom(!), the fire alarms go off in the building, yes they are very loud as they should be, however upon inquiry by several guests other than myself we  simply hear, ' false alarm ' .  Okay, could be dust or heat near a sensor somewhere or some other sequence of events, don't know.  However if nobody knows what the cause of the alarm is then I tend to fall back to that old time honored Help Desk mantra, "Loose Nuts on the Keyboard" .  Or the problem could be between the computer and the keyboard etc.  Still we have no way of knowing.

Speaking of keyboards.   As we occasionally passed by the front counter where customers meet the business and we frequently noticed that it could take only one customer to cause some kind of kluge at that work station front counter.  It's always the computer system is down or not working correctly e.g. software issues, slow computers, other front counter issues, issues like I have already mentioned, as in get two people monitoring the front counter even from a back room at all times even if by closed circuit surveillance to partner and assist work flow.    So if the computer system is slow, fix it, or as I might suspect, that there could be a dearth pile of training issues that could be addressed with much improved results in this area.  

So the front counter and also for customers a faster internet speed are the only two real issues that affected our stay.  True Savannah was approaching the big St. Pat's day celebration the following weekend and that does have an effect on hotel issues, but anyway, speed up the i-net and front counter, both need a boost.  

Why another star,? for at least a 3 star rating.  Well I got to experience the gratis customer laundry service, gotta love that and it's the right price! Also gratis social hour beer and genre munchies on Tue, Wed and Thu's.  Also the staff was pleasurably courteous to us and other customers consistently.  Can't fault them here.

Great hotel in a perfect location.  The staff were amazing and made us feel so welcome.  The breakfast was wonderful and the rooms were very clean and had all the amenities we needed.  I have to give a special shout out to William the manager and Margaret who worked at the front desk.  They went above and beyond with their hospitality!

We have had some great experiences with Staybridge Suites, so chose this hotel when planning a 2 night stay. It is a fairly nice place but doesn't measure up to other Staybridge Suites where we have stayed.

The breakfast is excellent and rooms are well appointed, clean and comfortable. Most staff make a decent effort to help. But there are certainly issues at this hotel.

First, you need to park in the back lot or adjacent parking garage. The garage is creepy at night and although the hotel clerk assured us there was security, we never saw any.

There is no way to secure laptops except to tak them with you. There are no in-room safes, as there are at many other Staybridges, and the safes at the front desk do not accommodate laptops. This was disconcerting since the hotel security doesn't seem to be stellar- the back entrance door does not shut so anyone could come in from the alley and go up the back stairway to rooms.


Problems occurred although there is supposed to be high speed wireless in the rooms, we had terrible trouble. Our cellphones and computers would access the wireless, but sporadically and then drop the wireless after a few minutes. The front desk said that he was having the wireless router rebooted but that didn't help. There fore, we could not work in our room without using the DSL, which was DREADFULLY slow and only permitted one of the two of us to use the internet at a time.

Because we had some important business to conduct via the internet, after breakfast, we went to use the 'business center' which is actually two screens and printers on a counter. Problems abounded
-one printer was out of black ink and almost out of colored ink
- both screens were set to this one printer and the other printer could not be used as default without effort for every document needing printing and then the printing was not formatted properly on some documents
-both printers were almost out of paper and there was no paper available in the area
-the software seems to be corrupted or some common features haven't even been downloaded properly - I couldn't open ZIP files, PDF files
-One  Desk staff person tried to help but although we were both computer savvy, weird problems kept happening.
- the staff person in charge of the computer center came by and tried to help but knew little about computers. When he called the support center, he handed me the cellphone to talk with off-site support! I had already spent an hour trying to get work done. And now I was supposed to stay online while support accessed the computer and walked me through he problems! NOT.
I do not think an already inconvenienced hotel guest should be the one sitting on the phone with off site support. This hotel needs to have someone onsite who can manage to keep all computer systems working properly. This is not a guest's responsibility.

The noise made by cleaning staff in the hallways in the afternoon is unacceptable.

This isn't a bad hotel, but for a Staybridge it was not up to expectations

You can't beat the location of this hotel. It is nestled in the heart of the old city, a block from River street and walking distance to shops, parks, restaurants and bars. I will definitely consider staying here next time I return to Savannah.

We spent 3 nights here and had a great stay. Our room wasn't large, but was clean, quiet, and had the most comfortable bed. I loved the kitchen it included. I expected a kitchenette, but it was much more complete than that. It had a full refrigerator, microwave, a dishwasher and came with plates and utensils. One of my only complaints was that we had an interior room that looked into a tiny courtyard rather than out into the city. I would request one of the exterior rooms if you would like more natural light. (If you prefer to not be able to tell the time of day while in your room an interior room should suit you just fine).

The complimentary breakfast every morning is very complete: eggs, cereal, sausage, coffee, tea, waffle maker, fruit, cake.... really no complaints. Parking was $12 a day at a lot half a block away from the hotel.

We were directed to stay here as part of a room block for a wedding we were attending. Great room rate, with comfortable beds & pillows.  Nice clean bathroom, cool a/c! I am currently 8 months pregnant and found this bed to be surprisingly comfortable given my state!! Kudos! Our room #219, had a great view of Bay St. My husband is a very sensitive sleeper and only woke once due to the street traffic... Perhaps a higher floor would have helped.Our suite had a fridge, microwave, coffee pot & sink. The layout did not feel cramped at all. Mornings provided a complimentary breakfast bar complete with eggs, bacon, pastries & cereal. Dining was in the cutely decorated lobby area. Pet friendly!

I can honestly and genuinely say I hate this hotel. We stayed here for a friends birthday. She had never been to Savannah and my friend and I have been there well over a dozen times. We typically stay at the Holiday Inn Express and have never had a problem. This hotel had a kitchen in the room so she wanted to stay here.. We knew we weren't going to use it, but it's her birthday. Let's try it out...

The staff was RUDE!! It started from the second we checked in (it was just an attitude like she hated her job). Then when asking simple questions about there sketchy parking (I'll get into that later) she literally says, "Don't it say it on the card." Okay.... I will say the cleaning staff was nice. The concierge seemed nice too! Front desk, rude every time we interacted with them... Oh! Except when someone tried to steal our credit card info and we got our car broken into.. They were nice then. I'll get into that.....

We got a call in our room at about 4am from the "front desk guy" saying their computers crashed and they needed our credit card number that we payed the room with. Our friend thought this was sketchy, so she went to the front desk and the lady working said "no one here has called your room it's just me." Oh, okay.. So what we figured out is some random called the desk, asked for our room at 4am, she transferred the call and then he played his front desk act. This isn't the front desks fault per say.. But I travel regularly for work and have stayed in Savannah many many times. This is a first!

To top it off our Jeep was broken into in the parking lot directly behind the hotel (not the parking structure). We do not leave valuables in it because, it's a Jeep! But after the rudeness, the credit card incident and now the Jeep... Never ever will we stay here or recommend it. Absolutely terrible... I wouldn't stay here even if I only based it on how I felt treated by the staff.. :(

I love this place. The accomodations are very well priced. The rooms are clean. The staff friendly and best of all the location is a street from the River in the heart of the historic district. They also have private parking for $12 a day.

The rooms all have a kitchinette. Some rooms do face the interior and have windows with plantation shutters. It is a very nice look but if you do not wish to fave the hall the staff with change your room if there is availability.

They serve a continental breakfast every morning and it very decent. In the afternoons they server wine/beer and salads with other snacks. Savannah is always hopping so a midday snack is great for those who wish to dine later in the evening.

They do not have a pool or hot tub but you will be so busy out walking the city that this is not a big loss. :)

I had high hopes for this place based on the reviews and location. Horribly disappointed! TeeJay was friendly and helpful but our room wasn't ready until 5:00 when check in was at 3:00. I could have overlooked that except the night staff were incredibly rude! Maragret/Mack treated guests like they were a bother, never greeted anyone when they walked by and acted like we were a huge burden. We visit Savannah about 2 times a year and have never ever had poor hotel service. This hotel has tons of competition and is doing a good job of losing guests. The beds are old, springs squeak every time you move. Walls are super thin and you can hear every conversation in the halls and doors all slam. This place is also dog friendly, which is fine, except when two dogs bark non-stop at 1am and 3am, echoing throughout the entire building. The rooms are also humid and when the AC kicks on it sounds like you are standing next to a Learjet. The room was clean except some left over soap in the shower. I'm giving two stars based on location alone, that I'm glad it wasn't filthy and that TeeJay allowed us to park in the lot before out reservation began. We will spend our money at the Kimpton (pet friendly) from now on, where guests are appreciated and all of the staff go out of their way to say "hi" and ask if you need anything. Definitely do not recommend StayBridge.

Friendly staff they all are great people will do anything for you. Breakfast very morning and Tuesday's Wednesday and Thursday they have social night food and beer and wine for the guests if u go to Savannah you need to stay here. Cannot wait to go back

This Staybridge  Suites location could not be better, sitting on Bay Street and offering up good views of the river side of town. I typically stay at the HIE right down the street, and it always been a great value, and I expected this Staybridge Suites location, being a sister property, to at least equal HIE.
Stepping inside around 10pm, I was greeted with a smile and all of the info I needed for my stay, so congrats on being customer service oriented. Also, the lobby area is unique and inviting, as it's a restored older building.
The room was acceptable, but it had a few issues that needed attention. For $200 per night, I don't want to see unfinished Sheetrock patches, trash behind furniture (nightstand), and unplugged lamps and alarm clocks when I walk in to unwind. The linens and towels were fine, but some detailed cleaning work needed to be done in the suite; dirt in the corners of the tile, dirty faucet handles, and streaked counters.
This is not a bad hotel, as a matter of fact it's a good hotel with a great location, but they need to step up their game with the rooms.
Oh yes, the breakfast was perfect by the way; I had loaded oatmeal both mornings!

Wow, we just got back from our stay from Dec 4th through Dec 8th we had an excellant experiance.  Everyone the front desk Tesha and Margaret were amazing. The conceigre recommend and set up a cemetery tour for us. (Yes we love old cemeteries), resturants and show tickets.  

Everyone was always friendly, the accomidations are immaculate and the location was perfect.  Just about everything we wanted to see was within walking distance so ne need to rent a car.  I hightly recommend!

This place is totally awesome. The people are extremely kind and the place was very clean. We found it to be in a perfect spot to visit the rest of savanna. They also had some leisurely snacks wine beer and cheese for us every night.

The only thing I will suggest for anyone reading this is you don't have to pay for parking in the hotel parking lot, you can just park in the street overnight. No need to waste that money.

We stayed here for 10 days over the 2015 Saint Patty's day celebration.  Perfect location, wonderful staff!

TeeJay at the front desk is one of those rare folks who combine experience and expertise with the right amount of professionalism, all while wielding a considerable amount of influence at the hotel.  He went above and beyond for my family and made our experience an excellent one. (six stars for him)
