    We just came back from Savannah staying at The Brice, a member of the Kimpton family. The hotel just opened is is not ready for prime time. First of all, the pool did not open with the hotel and they neglected to let us know. The notification  was buried on the website. Since they could not get the big thing right they should have focussed more on the small things, not so much unfortunately. Here is a brief list, the morning coffee did not go smoothly, no one to mind the coffee. They ran out and were just not attentive. They did not clean up the dishes and glasses from the wine social hour outside, and we're late setting up one night. Also, no dishes, etc. for the nosh. It is a dog friendly hotel so be aware that dogs sometimes don't get along and that might pose a problem. You can only park your car using their valet service, sometimes had to hunt for them. And the managers just did not seem to care enough to make it all better. Oh well, maybe in a few months they will get their act together.

    My husband and I stopped in here for one night at the tail end of our southern US road trip. Of the 4 4-star hotels we stayed in, this was the nicest. We were happy to find affordable street parking close to the hotel when we arrived. There is also valet parking available.  The lobby of this place is very well designed and interesting to look at. It's an interesting combination of traditional antique southern decor and chic modern design.  When we arrived they were serving the nightly complimentary wine and chips. We did not partake, but it looked very nice. We checked in with the helpful fellows at the front desk and made our way to our room, past the friendly wall paper designs, and got settled in for the night. The beds were extremely comfortable with down pillows and matress.  The modern lighting was a nice change from dimly lit rooms I've had in the past. The room also featured nice fluffy robes and better-than-average soaps/toiletries.  My only complaints about this hotel were the bed frames and the smallness off the bathroom. The bed frame stuck out several inches from the actual bed, and I tripped over it several times and stubbed some toes. My husband also tripped and bruised his ankle.  The downside of the bathroom was that I had no place to set my belongings. A small shelf (besides the one IN the shower) would have made all the difference.  All in all, this is a lovely hotel and I'd love to stay there again on future trips to Savannah! I just recommend watching your feet around those bed frames!

    Haven't written a Yelp review in ages but I feel compelled to post a glowing review for The Brice! We didn't know anything about this place, but we saw they welcome dogs and offered a AAA discount, so we took a risk. Wow -- it so paid off! One of our best hotel stays in a while. The staff was EXCEPTIONAL, friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself was lovely, elegant but not too stuffy. We ended up getting upgrade to a suite and were welcomed with a wonderful selection of crostini, hummus and tapenade. Every detail of the room was perfect, from the  luxurious bed, to the beautiful decor to the brilliantly located electrical and USB plugs. Wi-fi was included and easy to access. Will definitely be back again soon!

    We loved this hotel! First and foremost, the staff (clad in seersucker) was warm and helpful at all times. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and cool on a very hot weekend in Savannah. The wine hour in the afternoon, with flatbread from the adjacent restaurant, was a welcome bonus. Coffee in the morning was great, too. The lobby and common areas are very inviting and comfortable for visiting. The patio outside is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon wine. The only improvement I would have made would be to make the bathrooms bigger. We had a delicious brunch in the restaurant on Sunday mornings. I recommend the buckwheat crepes!

    Similar to another review below, I think the stars simply weren't aligned. I sound silly but it was just a small number of things that left a slightly meh vibe. (Let me say I love the Kimpton properties and think they train staff really well. They also have great aesthetic, this is no exception. The property is beautiful and people were polite and courteous. However, when we arrived at check in time we were unable to check in. We have a dog so this is problematic as we had a planned bike ride. However, our room wasn't ready for another two hours.  This meant we couldn't do much since we can't abandon the pup. When we asked for a late check out the next day, it wasn't honored--making our planned bike trip from the day before-undoable. We got "two free" drink tickets to compensate for the late check in, but actually only one.  The person next to us complained excessively and got a free upgrade and bottle of champagne, which is great for him, but makes you feel a little cranky when you are checking in simultaneously.  They also accidentally called our room a few times trying to deal with a host of problems. Which didn't matter, because we were up, but it all felt a bit chaotic.  Wouldn't normally care. 50 room, great--but when you're paying between 300 and 400$ you just want more.

    The hotel, location and amenities (aside from the pool which is still under construction) were amazing, but what really made our stay was the friendly, attentive and helpful staff.

    We've stayed at a lot of boutique hotels across the US, and I would put this one at the top of our list. When we arrived they immediately had a luggage cart which was whisked off to our room, and glasses of wine for us while we checked in.  We also had our Great Dane puppy with us, who the entire staff adored and had plenty of treats for; they even had a huge dog bed waiting for him in our room.  We didn't arrange it in time, but they also offer doggy daycare and other pet services.

    Just an awesome experience all around, I would definitely recommend this to anyone traveling to savannah.

    Just checked out of the hotel, as this was a pit stop on our Miami-DC road trip with my boyfriend and our 5 month puppy. What a great choice we made. Located right in historic savannah, we were able to walk everywhere. Even to dinner, although we took a street peddler for the ride home. The facilities (with exception to the pool) and rooms are newly renovated which was a huge plus. Everything felt very clean (and I'm a germ freak). The service was EXCEPTIONAL. Our valet/bell boy Rodney was a character and so helpful. His welcome upon arrival and check out really made us feel welcome at the Brice. Their pet friendly policy is something to make note of. If you travel with your pet (or would like to) you know how inconvenient non-pet friendly places can be. The staff loved our puppy and never complained despite his playful barking in the courtyard occasionally. They have a beautiful courtyard in the center of the hotel. Having a view into the court yard would have been the only thing I would have changed about our stay. We looked at the un-renovated pool which didn't impact our short stay- but if that's a deciding factor for you, that's something to consider. They have complimentary wine hour from 5-6 pm with flatbreads to pick at, and a red or white wine to enjoy in their courtyard patio. We also came here at night after dinner to wind down with our puppy, and it was even more beautiful in the evening with all the string lights lit up. The Brice is decorated beautifully too- contemporary modern while still retaining that authentic southern feel. We ate at pacci on our last night and the hostess was kind enough to let us sit in the courtyard area (although their tables were right next to the courtyard but not lit as nicely) and the servers were very kind too. We were the only ones outside, so we brought our puppy and iPod speakers as there isn't any music outside, and had a great dinner. Would also note that the Brice is right in between Washington Square and another park. That was a big plus for someone who needs to make frequent walks with their four legged friend. We joined the Kimpton "karma rewards" to start accumulating stays and got free wifi! Definitely coming back to the beautiful Brice next time in Savannah, and very impressed with my first Kimpton experience. Will definitely look into their other properties whenever traveling.

    "Don't be fooled by the outside"...This hotel is Fabulous! It looked ok from the outside. My wife and I stay at Kimptons quite a bit because of our 4 legged son who is just pampered at this awesome boutique hotel. We knew it was going to be gorgeous inside. The outstanding service and presentation begins from the time you book your reservation all the way from the checkout with the valet guys! The rooms and decor throughout were artistically well done. It was the little things like when the complimentary coffee was out; a staff member would run back and grab a cup for you from the kitchen while the main pot was being prepared...EVERY STAFF member was THE BEST!!!

    Updating this to 4 stars, the GM followed up with the problem we experienced and I have to say- he is extremely professional and genuinely cares about customer service. I work at a 4 diamond resort in the spa at a tourist beach similar to Savannah and I was thoroughly impressed at how he handled the situation. Thank you.

    Excellent property! Wonderful and attentive service from the front desk to the valet and bell service. A special shout out to the 3 Ts at the door. You guys were great.
    The beds were well appointed and the rooms comfortable. The courtyard was beautiful as well. Complimentary wine social was very nice.
    Though not particularly a kid hotel, my 7 year old loved it and the staff.
    A request to change our reservation from a king to 2 queens was met without any hesitation, and though we were held up by traffic and weather until 10pm, the front desk staff checked us in with a smile and steered us to the on site restaurant for a good late night meal.
    Highly recommended.

    Great place to stop! The people were so nice and kind to us. The rooms were nice and spacious, great for the dog. The hotel is right in town, making it easy to walk anywhere. Glass of wine during complimentary happy hour was just what we needed after the long trip.

    A friend and I recently stayed at the Brice on a girl's trip to Savannah and it was absolutely perfect! Great location on the edge of the small historic district and easy to walk to everything. The staff couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. They were so welcoming, gave us great recommendations for places to eat and one of the valets even moved his own car so we could have his parking spot on the street instead of paying for the garage (it was a Sunday so parking was free but street parking wasn't a problem at all on weekdays and the meters are inexpensive).

    The hotel itself is beautiful, both the lobby and the rooms are decorated in a modern yet comfortable style. The courtyard is the perfect place to relax, lots of comfy couches and chairs and it's strung with lights overhead. We loved the happy hour the hotel puts on each evening. Unlike some hotels that offer complimentary drinks, it's actually good wine and the flat bread from the restaurant next door, Pacci, was delicious and a nice little appetizer before heading out to dinner. They offer free coffee in the morning as well.

    I cannot recommend the Brice and their staff enough! The only downfall was it made every other hotel we stayed at on our trip pale by comparison!

    If you like dogs this is the place to be. We love Kimptons, they are always fun and unique. We especially liked the handwritten note by the maid with chocolate. So many fun colors and patterns... The happy hour was fun, lots of dogs and good conversation. The only issue we had with the happy hour was that they quickly ran out of snacks and these were not frequently replenished. The parking is expensive. We found other alternatives. The best part was that it was easy to get to the main areas within 10 minutes on foot.

    Love this property...they really did a nice job with the remodel.  From the rooms, courtyard (amazing to sit and relax), and 'family room', the decor is stylish, sophisticated, and right up my alley.  Service was fantastic too.  Front desk team, valets, housekeeping...everyone was friendly and very helpful.  Complimentary coffee in the AMs, wine hour in the evening is an added bonus.  We didn't bring our pooch along, but the hotel is pet friendly and saw several dogs...and a bird.

    Note, the pool doesn't open until July...I guess that just means we will have to make a return trip soon.

    Stay here. It's a lovely boutique hotel.

    This hotel is absolutely amazing!! The decor is beautiful, the location is perfect, and the staff... outstanding!!! Everyone that I came into contact with was so friendly and helpful! The room service was delicious! I came here for a special event and the staff made it even more special! Upon checking in they upgraded my room to a suite and they helped me bring my luggage up... everyone was more than willing to help in any way they could! This restaurant is sure to be gem in the heart of historic savannah!!! I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone I can and I will be back!!

    A brand-new renovation of a previously run down Savannah property at the east edge of downtown, this is an excellent place to stay in town.

    I have stayed at a lot of Kimptons and other nice hotels, and in terms of quality of the inside, this is as good as any.  it's in a quit part of downtown at its east edge, but since Savannah is so compact, you can still get around pretty easily. It is very close to Water street. There's a very nice inner courtyard which is quiet and relaxing.

    The thing that set this place apart was the service. I usually get good service at Kimptons but mixing in the Savannah niceness really took it to the next level. Will definitely plan on staying here again when in town.

    Amazing place, just opened in June after joining the Kimpton network, they did a fantastic job on a beautiful and historic property. Like the rest of the Kimpton network, they really put a priority on great staff.

    There is an evening reception with wine and flatbread which is always pleasant. In the morning there is decent coffee and a nice assortment of teas.  Free wifi. Expensive parking (but par for the course). Friendly valets who get to know guests during their stay. Delicious attached restaurant.

    The rooms are very comfortable, I highly recommend it and plan to always return to this hotel when visiting Savannah! Also, wonderful hotel if you're traveling with pets. They don't upcharge for pets, and are very welcoming to your pets.

    Disregard any negative reviews you read about this hotel, my recent stay exceeded my expectations!

    This hotel is modern in its decor without being pretentious. The hotel staff is professional and exude southern hospitality.  I contacted the staff via email while in route from Ohio with some questions about my stay and was promptly contacted by phone by a hotel administrator with answers. Our room, which was lovely and very clean, was ready early.  The staff had already been informed we were possibly arriving early and I was impressed that the gentleman at the front desk said they were awaiting us.

    The happy hour with complimentary wine and appetizers was an unexpected treat!  The gym and pool are not completed yet, but arrive knowing you will be working out at another local gym, for free, if working out is of importance to you.

    Thank you to the entire staff at The Brice, I look forward to returning to your hotel & staying at other Kipton Hotels in the future.

    This was our first stay at a Kimpton hotel. Kudos! First impressions are key, and the valet staff were friendly and helpful. Our check in process was smooth, even though I'd just booked our room through Orbitz less than 24 hours ago. Our room was a King with separate living room area, divided by a hallway, closet and bath (with TVs in both rooms). We'd previously stayed at the Marriott riverfront, but found the open atrium with pool design too noisy. Our room at the Brice, though right on Bay St., was super quiet. The bartenders at Pacci were great, but this is probably biased because they had my favorite Sav Blanc. The best part is the location, a brief walk to the best restaurants in town. My one complaint is that there should be a fan in the bathroom - it gets pretty humid in there, and shower floor/towels weren't really drying between use.
    The Skinny: check in at 4, free wine happy hour in the lobby at 5 PM plus coffee & (mighty leaf) tea in the AM, snacks and a minibar fridge (very mini) in room.
    Best Tip: if you sign up online for the Kimpton rewards program you get decent free Internet access.

    We decided to take a last minute trip to Savannah and found The Brice online while looking for a pet friendly hotel that would allow our 2 large dogs. Having the dogs stay free was amazing! I'm so glad we chose this hotel! Every single member of their staff was so friendly! Everyone stopped to see our pups, say hi and ask how we were doing and wish us a nice day. They let us check in a few hours early which was fantastic. Everything was so clean and the whole place has a very cool,funky vibe. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was very quiet. We will definitely be looking into other Kimpton hotels for future trips.

    The Brice has smoothed out the opening bumps and my most recent visit was truly dreamy. The pool still isn't completed and the rooms haven't gotten any bigger, but those are the only quibbles. Every staff member I encountered greeted me so affectionately, I wanted to claim them as relatives. I ate 3 meals at Pacci. Could have gone elsewhere. Didn't want to.

    Great hotel as expected from Kimpton lines.  Well appointed room and luxury amenities.  The valet staff are friendly and helpful.  The front desk staff are not friendly and has a bit of an attitude. I get it, you work at a very nice hotel but, should not treat your guests with a condescending attitude when asked a simple question.  Maybe it's a new hotel excitement thing but that needs to improve.  It takes away the other positive aspects of this beautiful property.

    The most enjoyable hotel I have ever stayed at. Great staff! The most amazing lobby and courtyard you could dream up!!

    Savannah Downtown is small! You can walk end to end in 25 minutes.

    This hotel is in one corner of the district but it is still PERFECTION.

    Amazing in house restaurant but it's just the rooms and the staff that will blow you away. Modern, chic, smart.

    No complaints. Would never stay anywhere else in Savannah.

    Oh. And easily the greatest shower I've ever had in a hotel room.

    I have never had a more amazing hotel experience than at The Brice. I informed the hotel that my boyfriend and I booked our stay for our anniversary. Not only were we upgraded to a premium room, there was champagne and cake waiting for us when when arrived. This made the start of our evening so romantic, especially since since he popped "the question" after dinner! The room itself was gorgeous; the huge canopy bed, the gigantic tub, and the beautiful balcony were to die for. There were plenty of plugs for all our devices and a wall-sized mirror perfect for checking my outfit before strolling the squares. The rest of the hotel was so pretty and modern, I felt the need to Instagram everything from the swing in the lobby to the "secret garden" where I drank my morning coffee (available in the lobby each morning). Valet parking was convenient and $26 a day, which I found pretty standard. The staff itself was so friendly that we felt like old friends. Rodney showed us all the features of our room and took great care of us from arrival to departure. The wine happy hour each evening was a lovely touch. The hotel was located right across from River St. and had a few DOT shuttle stops conveniently nearby. I would absolutely recommend The Brice to any and all.

    Stars looked to be aligned for me to absolutely love this hotel. The exterior colors (gray, yellow, white) match my home living room.  The interior rooms (gray, lime green) matched my sneakers.  I love hotels, but I was surprised I didn't like this cute one more, until I started writing it all down in a review when it started to make sense.  You know the feeling you sometimes get at fancy joints when you are underdressed or when you're at the airport gate trying to get a first class seat but the gate attendant would rather leave the seat empty than give it to you?  Yeah, I felt a little of that at this hotel...not from everyone, but from some. (BTW, Valets and cleaning crew were great...greeting me each time we passed by and upon entrance/exit of the hotel.)

    Cranky and hangry from my travels and dressed in yoga wear (since I was on my way to the spa), I arrived to check in.  The upgrade certificate I received was not honored, with the front desk staff saying there were no upgrades available, and there were no king bed rooms clean at my check-in time (which was early), so I got a room with 2 queen beds. Wish they didn't even offer the upgrades...that and the great reviews made my expectations way too high. I had also received an email the day before my arrival, saying that upgrades were still available for purchase as well, so while it is entirely possible that other people with reservations bought all the upgrades the day before, I'm highly skeptical.  Kimpton is very responsive via social media but the flip side is that it gives the illusion of customer service, without actually receiving any benefits or fixes.  

    While its decor and colors are totally my taste, the Brice remains a regular hotel, with regular rooms and tiny bathrooms. There was a $10 voucher for mini bar items that came with my room rate, but I would have much preferred faster wifi or a quieter room with a king bed over getting $10 of minibar stuff (hoping that the voucher is correctly applied to my bill later...we'll see, otherwise, I would be stuck with an extra $10 of mini bar items). The room was very clean with a big window (mine overlooked the pool and Bay St), with white sun shades and room darkening curtains.  Bathroom with the shower tub and toilet is very small and a bit claustrophobic.  Small sink and vanity is outside the bathroom door in the hallway, which is a good feature especially if you are sharing the room (but didn't matter much if not sharing).  I turned off the room air, since the heat made a lot of noise, but I could still hear the loud vent in the hallway, along with lots of noise from the cleaning staff since there was also a utility room across the hall from my room.  The toilet also kept running for a long period of time each time it was flushed.  Really slow wifi in the rooms.  I got to see one of the suites that friends of mine are staying in...definitely more spacious bath vanity and sitting area, but also in higher traffic locations from some of the rooms that are accessed from outdoor hallways.

    Yes, there is a happy hour with wine and small snacks in the cute lobby, but it is very crowded. It is probably better in warmer weather when people can move out side to the courtyard.  There are 4 elevators in the square layout hotel, which is good so you don't have to walk far to get to your room, but bad with the incessant dinging sound that is way too close to the rooms.  

    Lots of positive reviews from dog owners who can bring their pets, but if you're not a pet person like me, it makes me a bit nervous having dogs around food and barking at each other.  Each time the pets passed each other and I was between them, I felt like I was in the middle of a pending duel.  Some owners also left their dogs unattended in their rooms...I could hear some dogs barking in a nearby room for quite some time.

    Great location on Washington Square at the edge of historic district, and probably one of the reasons I would definitely stay here again.  I valet parked my car (at $25/night) when I arrived and walked around Savannah my entire stay, with easy walks to the riverfront area, through all the squares, and to Forsyth Park.  Great restaurant and bar at the hotel (Pacci), and of course, many options in the surrounding area.  3.5 stars.

    I booked The Brice on a whim and was so happy. The concierge to the restaurant, everyone was so nice and friendly. Mostly everyone seemed happy to be there and that's such a great sign. Dinner was amazing. I would recommend having a bite in house. The whole hotel was really clean and super nice. I would definitely stay here again.

    Awesome pet friendly hotel near the heart of Savannah! No fee for pets too! About a 10 minute walk to Ellis square and the heart of Savannah.

    The Brice was perfect. Very welcoming and accommodating staff that extrudes southern hospitality. The design and decor of the hotel and rooms are trendy. Everything from the furniture to the wallpaper makes a statement.

    The outdoor courtyard in the center of the hotel is beautiful; perfect spot for the free wine hour and relaxing with friends.

    Staff was quick to ask us how our day was going and made recommendations on restaurants/bars along with local attractions.

    Parking is steep at $25 per night, but that was on par with nearby hotels.

    Absolutely the best.

    Feels like home, with an incredibly friendly and efficient staff. The hotel goes above and beyond to make this a memorable stay with great personalities throughout;  the wine hour at the beautifully decorated living room lobby is fun and a great way to start the evening before going off to dinner. True feeling of an independent boutique hotel.

    I typically have a preference for Airbnb over most hotels when traveling but this property really made me reconsider future trips. I will, with out any doubt stay here each and every time I come up to Savannah.

    Location wise the hotel is on the further side of the historic district, which encourages you to walk around the streets freely and explore beautiful Savannah.  

    I stayed in room 201, and will make sure to request it every time.

    Such an enjoyable stay. The rooms were clean and had a modern feel. If you are looking for a southern vibe this wouldn't be your place to stay. Great pool area. The valet men are all so wonderful and truly care about their guests. My only complaint would be: there is no breakfast that comes with booking..only hot coffee and tea in the AM..and you have to pay for wifi unless you sign up for their rewards program. Otherwise this place is great and the location is amazing! Right in downtown Savannah within walking distance to River Street.

    Awsome experience.   Got a room w/ 2 queen beds.  Huge room, dog bed, dog food bowl w/ treats and water bowl provided.  Clean.  Very happy.  No dogs allowed in the pool area.  Nice courtyard for the pool & the comp wine & appitizers area (dogs allowed here).  Can eat in courtyard w/ dog at the attached restaurant.  W Everyone was super nice and NOT pretentious.   Allowed me to keep my car parked in their parking & hang around in the court yard (with my dog) after check out, no problem.

    6. Our room was amazing.
    7. Since my first visit at a Klimton hotel I got a welcome cheese plate and beer!
    8. Robes!

    I really have gotten to an age where I like a bathrobe in the room. I think I wore their comfy robe the whole time I was there.

    I hadn't been to Savannah in over 10 years but will be back for the Brice!

    "I love your hair!"... Says the lady at check in. Oh ma'am..  Flattery will get you everywhere.

    Not only is the staff extremely friendly but the hotel is also a jewel! I mean the rooms are spacious, clean and updated.

    The bed was fluffy. Loved the extras. I normally Lysol everything down and wear shower shoes, but I questioned this here as everything was clean and neat.

    My only teeny gripes:

    1. They are dog friendly but at 8 this morning someone left their dog in the room barking for at least 10-15 min. Maybe you shouldn't allow this as everyone's dogs aren't trained.

    2. The the showers are nice with a bench inside, roomy... But there's a crack at the bottom which means water is going to be on the floor by the time you're done... Not good.

    3. The 5 PM appetizers... Maybe provide enough for all the guests. Definitely enough alcohol but when my dude and I got there at 5:15 there was no food left. I wasnt looking for a meal, but at least the chance to put one thing in my hand to try.

    Other than that BRAVO Kimpton. Location is excellent along with all the little touches.

    Had a fantastic stay at The Brice during my recent trip to Savannah! Located right at the end of Bay St, The Brice is walking distance from many great restaurants and shops in historic downtown Savannah. The decor is super cool, with a mix of old Southern charm (the concierges all wore grey suits and bowties, there are vintage bikes available to borrow right in the lobby!) and modern touches (like a color-coordinated book display and pop art pieces in the hallways.)

    If you get a room with a balcony, it'll either overlook the pool area or the courtyard in the middle, which is a great place to kick back with a glass of wine during their daily free happy hour from 5 - 6!

    As with all Kimpton Hotels, The Brice is super pet-friendly (and baby-friendly, as we found out since my 2-year-old niece joined me for part of my trip) and if you're a Kimpton Karma Rewards member (which everyone should be, it's FREE!) you get a free $10 to spend at the bar or at the minibar.

    I would absolutely stay at The Brice again the next time I'm called to Savannah!

    Savannah, being a small town with local nuances, offered my wife and I an abundance of boutique hotels to choose from, and The Brice suited us well--a wine happy hour, (albeit a small selection), clean-cut rooms, and a good view of the town.

    The staff here know how to treat clientele well, and as well, they continue to afford out of town guests some Southern hospitality.

    In terms of the layout, I found the design to be a little cramped (one elevator, to boot), but with 3 stories in the heart of Savannah, you can't expect it to be the J.W. Marriott, with 10 elevators and hallways the size of a 8-lane highway. At the least, the bellmen and attendants were extremely hospitable and willing to meet needs at the drop of a hat.

    The Brice offers visitors to this boutique hotel, ready to give a little bonus to your time in Savannah.

    Ahhhhh...Kimpton has done it again.  Another winner and I was so excited to see a hotel in Savannah.  Right in the Historic District and of course another top notch restaurant / bar attached.  More on Pacci in another review.

    The arrive offers everything you would expect from a Kimpton Property - Uber friendly staff who know their craft and truly take care of their guests and hip and clean with every detail taken care of.  I was here for my birthday and of course they didn't miss that detail.

    The rooms and bathrooms are large and very comfortable.  The Courtyard is absolutely spectacular and relaxed.  The service - again everything you would expect from a Kimpton.  Valet, check-In, housekeeping and on and on...they just always get it right.  This is a place where you know people here love working here.

    This location will soon be a 5 in my book.  They are still a bit new and still working on their setup - no dedicated gym yet, a bit of painting etc...they are well on their way and this is the place to stay in Savannah!!

    for the 2nd part of our anniversary I had been dying to come to Savannah and after finding out they had a new Kimpton hotel we had to stay here. of course I was getting over a bad cold which isn't what anyone wants before going on vacation. anyway when we got there really early, they held our bags while we went to have breakfast. it was great after we came back and found we had been upgraded to a suite! also great for my husband to be able to watch tv in the other room while I napped and tried to get over my cold asap lol. they also gave us a nice bottle of prosecco we brought home with us :) we just loved this hotel so much. I'm so happy we came here for our anniversary instead of my birthday because I don't think this was even open when we first planned on coming. just such a great hotel and we love the kimpton brand. the hot chocolate in the morning was delicious and I had no idea they'd have that. I'm a chocolate lover and went nuts lol.

    I only wish we had brought one of our dogs but that's jetblues fault for being so overpriced, not the hotel! which btw this hotel is beyond dog friendly, they just love dogs and even have treats for those with dogs :)

    oh and there is a wine happy hour we enjoyed nightly and omg that tub. I want that tub in our house..... also the whole design of the hotel was just so well done. I only wish our last day I wasn't feeling sick and we could have enjoyed Pacci... I see this as just a reason to come back one day lol :)
