The President's Quarters is everything a bed and breakfast should be...friendly service, cute & comfortably furnished rooms, and absolutely wonderful food! I stayed here two nights when in Savannah visiting family, and was very happy with every detail of my stay. Our room was large and full of natural light, the beds were soft and comfy with plenty of pillows, the room even had a fireplace and was decorated in a lovely blue and white Chinese porcelain theme. I am not used to staying in such a nice place so was pleasantly surprised by things like the turn down service and the evening wine and cheese. They go all out on the free snacks, offering tasty little cucumber tea sandwiches, hard and soft cheeses, crackers, and prosciutto. And the breakfast here is delicious, you can choose from a homemade fruit and granola option or the "chef's choice", which on the two mornings I was there, was a light, fluffy souffle and then sweet potato pancakes. Both were expertly made and far above your standard breakfast fare, and breakfast tasted especially nice while enjoying a pleasant Savannah morning in the inn's courtyard. Everyone working here was very friendly and helpful, you can tell they really care about their guests. Highly recommended and I would stay here again if I am lucky enough to make another Savannah trip soon!

We really liked our 2-day stay here. First off, great staff, very friendly and accommodating. Our rooms (2 couples) were quite comfortable, very roomy, roomy bathroom, had the exposed brick wall...just overall really nicely appointed. Delicious breakfasts, and served outside in the cozy courtyard, very fun. And finally the location! Staying here really added to the ambiance of Savannah.

the best thing about this b&b was the service. The people working the inn were great. The inn needs some fine tuning. Why do they list fireplaces in the rooms if they don't work? That is false advertising and a huge disappointment to us. The little tv s in the rooms need to be updated to larger flat screens. The door locks need updating to card access. The keys are to cumbersome. The breakfast area inside is too small and it is too cold in the winter to eat outside. Finally, the owners should take care of their people more. I hate paying those kind of lodging prices and then getting hit with tipping envelopes. I love the staff there, they really tried to take care of us, but I got they feeling they did not get the support they need and deserve.

top of the line service! I stay at this hotel any time I can while traveling through Savannah to Florida. It is a home away from home & the people are soooo nice.

Stayed here late June.
Pros: great place to stay, great location, great service, great courtyard, nice happy hour.
Cons: we were here in the summer so not an issue, but echo what John said about the fireplaces (would have been a bummer if we had visited in fall/winter and relied on the advertising of a fireplace).
No comments on the food here - only because we chose to eat out every meal.

For a nice girls weekend my best friend and I spent the night at The Presidents Quarters Inn and are already making plans to go back with others!
Greeted by the lovely Jane and Annette, they were beyond helpful with lovely tips about where to explore and a very informative map!

- Breakfast in the courtyard included
- Afternoon wine and snacks in their courtyard included
- Beautiful large rooms with very comfortable beds
- Very pleasant staff
- Prime location and walking distance from all sites to be seen
- Free parking lot
Thank you again for an amazing time!

Beautiful old B&B with great breakfasts made to order each morning and delicious snacks with wine served around 5:30pm. Our hosts were gracious and helpful, although you shouldn't expect anything to be accomplished with much speed. The rooms all have very high ceilings. Bed was comfy.

A Consistent DELIGHT !!!
We have stayed at the inn several times now over several years - and this wonderful establishment just keeps getting better.
On prior visits we've stayed in the large suites upstairs - so lovely - so elegant.
Our room on our most recent visit was on the ground floor - the Nixon Suite - this being a smaller room but full of warmth and character. Just steps from the main entrance it could not be more convenient - yet it was quiet - except for some typical and non offensive street sounds late it he evening. (clip clop of passing horse carriages, people walking by on their way home from a restaurant...) The room featured a fireplace and felt much like both a bedroom and a sitting room - in fact we invited friends in for a quiet conversation and the setting was perfect.
As always - the staff was delightful and friendly, treating all the guests as family and trying to be as helpful as possible. On the night we arrived, the inn was full as they were hosting a wedding party, so they suggested to us that if the parking lot was full we could make use of the handicap space as there was no one in e inn that weekend needing it.... It's that level of thought and care that impresses.
Their breakfasts (included) are wonderful - and you are asked upon arrival for your choices - so that it Will be ready when you come to eat. In the evening - they set out a bit of port/wine for guests arriving back after a long day or from dinner -- its just those touches that are so nice.
We actually met the housekeeper on one visit - she stopped by just as we were entering our room - to introduce herself, welcome us, and invite us to call on her if we needed anything.
With two outstanding restaurants nearby - one just across the street (1790) and the other (Cha Bella) little more than a block away - you have everything you need within a lovely Savannah walk away... Enjoy
