Not bad for the price we paid through expedia including car rental.  The hotel was close enough to everything from restaurants, malls and airport.  The only draw back was it smells musty inside the room and hallway.  Also it would be great if there will be no smoking at least 100 ft away from the hotel entrance.  But overall love the continental breakfast that's provided and for keeping the room tidy and ready in time.

Oh WOW! I have payed twice as much or more for a room and not been half as pleased as I was with this hotel. So charming and plush. The grounds, hallways, parking lot, pools, and most of all rooms were clena as can be, and I have high standards. The bed was huge and so comfortable. When we walked in the ac was already on and working great, the room was at a very comfortable temperature (most hotels leave the ac off when there are no guests in them, meaning when you first get in the room its uncomfortably hot) The wifi was plenty fasty enough, i noticed they had 3 seperate wifi signals of varying strenght, one for each wing I suppose. The shower was extremely comfy, the shower head had many speeds and good pressure and the heat lamp was a nice touch. Plenty of towels and pillows too! At around 50.00 a night this place is a steal!

Nice enough place. Nice 'Health Club' with 2 pools and gym. Price was better on Travelocity.com than directly though their own website.

The price is just right for what you get.  The staff is consistently nice and the rooms are always very clean.  We have stayed here many times in the past few years.  Their workout area definitely could use updating but it is very functional for a good workout.

Stayed for 4 nights.Fantastic place to stay and the price is perfect, first off the day front desk staff was super friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable...large rooms, very tidy, sheets were white and the towels were clean.   Friendly housekeeping and the shuttle driver from the airport was awesome. Very Impressed with the service and staff and overall appearance. Wifi was a bit slow but not a huge deal.

Expected a three star hotel and really got a two star. Has many amenities but are very subpar. Wifi is slow and continually drops, fitness center is from 1984 and some of the equipment needs repair, tv in room was from 1999. The rooms however were clean and the staff was very friendly.

A pretty good hotel with very reasonable pricing. As far as hotels go, they offered everything we needed and did so without any issues. The hotel is older and that shows, but that would not deter us from staying there again.  Our daughters really enjoyed the indoor pool which was also kept very clean. The breakfast was the only area lacking in my opinion, as there was not a great variety of foods offered.

Breckinridge Inn Hotel was such an upgrade from the Econo Lodge I first stayed at in downtown Louisville.  I found the hotel for cheap on Priceline the day I had to check in.

The bedroom was clean and the bed didn't have any crusty stains like a lot of hotels do.  The bed was comfortable and the TV was great.  The bathroom was nice and clean.

They have two pools, inside and outside and an inside jacuzzi.  Both were nice and clean.  It was kind of weird to see a lifeguard on duty at a pool.

Breakfast was great.  They served biscuits and sausage, cereal and toast.  I got to breakfast late because my hotel room alarm clock was 10 minutes slow.  The only down side was you could not take your breakfast back to the room with you.

Will stay at the Breckenridge again if they have their rooms for under $60 again!

What a pleasant surprise.  I stayed at the Breckinridge Inn twice recently on short notice.  The rates are extremely low (with AAA discount), the lowest I've paid anywhere in years, and the rooms are recently updated, spotlessly clean and well appointed.  If you have kids, the pools are terrific - quite large and with lifeguards during the summer. Prospective guests should understand this is not a fancy place.  It's plain but good.

This is definitely a two star hotel - despite the favorable reviews.

Their website has the touched up photos that makes the whites a little brighter and everything much more flattering.  I mean why not ... it's not like most of you will post ugly pictures of yourself.

Some convention was going on in Louisville so I didn't have a whole lot of choices in where I could stay.  It was cheap and since I once had a room that had blood on the sheets, I can pretty much tolerate anything.  It was clean ... but dingy.  Walls are thin - so I could hear a lot of the noise outside - outside my door and outside the window.

Free wifi, but connection was slow as molasses.  I tried all 3-4 wifi connections and could barely surf the web, much less watch Netflix or something.  Also - the TV remote didn't have a sleep option so I couldn't drown out some of the noise outside with the TV either.

It was fine though.  Sheets were white and the towels were clean.  Dominos delivers (instead of room service).  It's right off the freeway so decent location.  I stayed in the city last time I was in town - and getting to / from my rental car and in / out of the city was a challenge ... but I might prefer to do that than stay here again.  I worked most of the time and needed a bit more quiet and a more dependable internet.

But for the price ... and on vacation, this would have been fine.  Oh .. .and maybe if I brought my dog ... b/c I heard a dog barking down the hall.

I have stayed here twice in the last 4 weeks visiting friends. I am from the Detroit area. The first time I was alone and because of a room mix up I was upgraded to a mini suite for my next visit with my husband. I had great experiences both times. The rooms were clean and affordably priced. The staff was super friendly and helpful. On my last visit, the gentleman at the front desk was nice enough to accommodate my friends and I in one of their party/conference room for pizza when we were rained out at the pool.

The pools are awesome! You can take coolers and food. They are very well kept and looked after. The guests are like one big family and everyone was always so friendly. This is my go to place whenever we are in town now.

Downfall was the beds could be a little more comfy but we slept well enough.

I don't know if I stayed at a different hotel than all these five star ratings or if they are fake reviews. We had a connecting room with the rest of our party and their room was 'fine' except for a dirty vent in the shower (that I was made aware of). We went in February so no pools were open.

Our room, on the other hand, was pitiful. Walking in the room we were immediately smothered by an overpowering smoke smell in the 'non smoking' room. It was in the central system, sheets, towels. Everywhere. I can handle smoke somewhat but this was awful. There isn't much more to say other than I spent over $30 on air fresheners trying to mask the smoke.

Our ice bucket had mold in it. Thank goodness we didn't plan on using it. The sheets on one bed and some towels were dirty. Hopefully just stained...I hope. And the mattresses in both rooms were like sleeping on cardboard. Very thin and old. I don't mind sleeping on uncomfortable beds but not when the rooms were on the more expensive side.

The walls were super thin! Both mornings we awoke to retching. Not ours. Somebody must have had a stomach bug or something.

If my rooms had been more updated it would have been a cute hotel. The wifi was very fast. The breakfast was good. Normal hotel breakfast. Unless under dire circumstances, I will not be staying here again.

I gave This business a second chance.  It's a convenient place to stay.  This time I was given a room in a different part of the building and it was a quiet spot.  The room was clean and comfortable.  The counter person was friendly.  The price was reasonable for a week day rate.

Very basic level cheap hotel. Clean. Easy to get lost in the long, winding hallways. At check-in, they didn't mention the continental breakfast (we just happened to see the sign) or wifi (and there was no info in the room about either. The clerk also gave us bad directions on parking area near our room. I had to call downstairs to ask for wifi password. Fewer washcloths (2) in the room than guests (3).

I've eaten at plenty of cheap hotel continental breakfasts before, but never seen one that had no fruit, no yogurt, no waffle maker. Except for hard-boiled eggs and oatmeal packets, it was pretty much all bread. Good plentiful hot coffee, though. I just wouldn't do it more than one day, most likely.

We're going to the indoor pool tonight, which looks nice and has lanes for lap swimming, which is great. But we largely picked the hotel for the pool and at check-in learned that my daughter wouldn't be allowed to use the hot tub (12 and older) - guess that could be a selling point for some, but it was a big disappointment for her.

So nothing awful about the place or anything, but nothing great either.

Stayed here overnight and was very disappointed. Pool was very big and nice but exercise room was below average and treadmills would not go past 3 mph. I did not expect something modern and luxurious but they seem to be trying to get away with the absolute least. I understand running a hotel but I also understand the need to create a nice place for your guests to stay. We went down for breakfast in the morning and it was awful, you could tell that all of the food came out of packages and I know this is the case with many continental breakfasts but at least they make it seem as if it is not. No freshly made food and extreme limited quantity and a very small variety of anything. Walls are very thin and could hear children all night. Over all, I was disappointed. My family and I used to be members of their pool and loved it but I can't say the same about the hotel.

The hotel is a little outdated but otherwise fine. The rooms are extremely well kept and the hallways are very quite in the morning and at night. I would recommend this place for people with 1 or 2 pets.

When we first checked in the man at the front desk was nice. We got our room without any remarks about our two dogs. The room itself was of a reasonable size with two full beds, a desk, nightstand and a T.V. stand. The beds were very clean and the floor didn't have a trace of dirt.

The hotel has an indoor, heated pool with a hot tub and an outdoor, non-heated pool. There are life guards at each pool and you are required to sign in before you can get in. Also the indoor pool has two lap lanes.

Sigh.... I didn't have many expectations. I just wanted a room at a decent price since I was on a budget because my company is cheap. During the week night I got a king bed room for 70 bucks, for the location I think it's a good deal.

The hotel boost a lot of amenities there's a dance room/lounge, in indoor pool, outdoor pool, a workout room with 1950s equipment but I like it, it has the bare minimum and you can actually get a good workout.

The room itself is large but the walls are very thin. There was a baby crying next door and I could hear it very easily.

The bed was clean and comfortable. I would have preferred something a little bit quieter but beggars can't be choosers in this situation. Still better than a Super 8 or Motel 6!

If you are expecting a modern hotel you will be disappointed, but if you don't mind a dated hotel for cheap, this place is perfect. It was clean and the staff was friendly. The free wifi wasn't slow either. It's in good shape for its obvious age, but there are signs here and there of needed maintenance....
