This hotel was okay. The person checking us in seemed confuse. She was not helpful. We asked for a wakeup call which we didn't get. The room was nice and this hotel was the first one that had enough coffee bags for two pots. The breakfast was good and check out was better. I would probably find another place if I was in the area again. I picked this place for the deals choice hotels was running at the time.

Overall poor experience, got locked out of my room all night on the first night, because the digital lock and the manual lock broke at the same time. Took them a few hours in the morning to figure it out, turns out the solution was just to use a credit card on the lock the old fashion way, glad to know the locks are high quality. Was unable to get a refund or any compensation on the room, but was offered points that would equal a free night at comfort suites , but still waiting on my account to be set up and the points added, (it's been a week), Overall the hotel was ok, but would probably not stay at there again

My husband had enough points to get us a free room. Needed a place to stay after touring the Kentucky Bourbon Trail.
The area is located in a Business/travel area with many chain restaurants, gas stations and stores.
We were greeted by the staff. They were kind and accommodating. One of my hotel cards did not work and when we walked in the bed was not made. Went back to the front desk to notify the clerk. She was apologized and gave us another room. No big deal.
The rooms were roomy and clean.
Continental breakfast was not that bad. They had eggs, sausages, bagels, muffins, coffee, orange juice and station to make waffles. They were out of coffee and had to wait on new batch. They were out of plain/original waffles, so I made strawberry flavored. Which wasn't bad.
My experience was okay. Even though there were small minor events that went wrong, I would still come back because the staff was friendly.
I can't complain, it was free.

Avoid this place at all cost. It is horrible. The only redeeming aspects to this place were a) it's pet-friendly, and b) the free breakfast, which they do put effort into, and was decent (the coffee was horrible, but so is most hotel coffee--everything else in the buffet was ok).
From the hideous exterior (fine from afar, but up close, you can see the problems before even entering the hotel), to the mildew-stenched room, to the run-down pool and worn carpet, everything about this place screams dive. And a dive it is.
Entering the hotel was difficult because we had to deal with the doors, and we had one of the rolling dollies filled with luggage. The doors-both those on the exterior of the foyer and those on the interior of the foyer are push and not sliding. I wound up several times just gently opening the doors with the front of the dolly as I pushed from behind, but out of many hotels that we stayed at on our drive across country, this was the only place that did not have sliding doors. WTH?
Checking in was easy, but when we got to our room, it reeked of mildew. Bad enough to where I immediately asked my wife if she wanted me to get another room. We elected not to, as we had kids, luggage, and a cranky baby we wanted to get settled down for the night.
The pool was sub-par. The water was not clear, but just a bit misty (dirty?), which I'm guessing was an indicator that it hadn't been serviced recently. The jacuzzi was broken, as was one of the ladders into the pool. There were not enough towels and no receptacle to put used towels, so they were piling up on the floor next to the empty new-towel rack.
The elevator was sub-par. Smaller and not air-conditioned (read "hot"), the door is located on one side of the car, requiring that I roll my luggage-filled dolly into one side only of the car since there is not enough maneuvering room to position the dolly on the opposite side of the car, away from the entrance. So I effectively block the entrance.
Holes in the carpet--who has that? This place does. I was amazed when I saw them. Many un-repaired scuffs on the walls. The room itself was just ok. The bathroom was pretty bad, though. A badly-patched leak from the 3rd-floor was apparent on the ceiling. There was more, but I won't waste your time.
Need I say more? This place may be pet-friendly, but do yourself a favor if you're looking for a pet-friendly hotel--go to the next town.

A very nice clean hotel. Our room was spotless and the beds were very comfy. The rooms look freshly painted. Breakfast was coffee, juice, milk, bacon, eggs, toast, bagels, muffins, cereal, waffles. Fresh fruit and yogurt. The hotel staff we're extremely nice. Excellent stay!

Terrible experience. The hotel was extremely noisy and the walls were paper thin, making it very hard to get any rest.
One lady was very unfriendly and appeared to be borderline racist.
If you're in Jeffersontown area of Louisville, you should avoid this hotel at all costs.

Excellent Customer Service! After reading the previous reviews they must have done major renovations. The hotels was clean, modern and updated. The front desk staff was great. I was here when Louisville got 12" of snow and the maintenance staff offered to shovel around my car. I would have to say I had an excellent experience.
Would and will stay here again next time I come to Louisville !!
