Another great Hampton Inn experience. This is an older hotel that has been brought up to the current Hampton Inn standard including their very comfortable beds. Conveniently located between the airport and the Kentucky Expo grounds.

Once again, another Hampton that seems no different from any others.  Clean and friendly staff

Pretty decent for a Hampton Inn. Very close to the airport and the highway if that's a requirement for you. The downside is it's not all that close to downtown, but if you knew Louisville, I suppose you'd know that. (I didn't) Friendly staff and lots of parking. No complaints.

The most accommodating hotel i've stayed at in a really long time.

+1 friendly and helpful staff. From the awesome front desk, the breakfast staff and the maids. Everyone was on point.
+1 clean rooms - spacious rooms with comfy bedding and a good shower. Only downside was the lighting as we felt like the bathroom lighting made us look extremely dead pale =P
+1 continental breakfast -- not the greatest, but they changed up the hot dishes everyday which was good.
+1 for free shuttle service to airport and expo center. They also offered my co-worker a free shuttle ride to the convenience store since it was raining

-1 my only complaint was the fact that there was not much stuff to do in the area. A bowling alley across the street and other hotels lined the street. This required us to have to cab it downtown to grab lunch/dinner which got pricey after a while. Next time, we'll consider renting a car.

If you are sensitive to cigarette smoke smell,  be sure that you ask for a room that was NEVER a smoking room.  All the rooms are now non-smoking, but were not always that way.

I asked for a room on any floor other than the 1st and the room I was assigned was the only one they had.  There were events at the nearby KY Expo Center, so the hotel was completely booked.  Becuase I didn't want to be on the first floor, I had to settle for a room that had the linger of cigarette smoke.  YUCK!

The location is great if you have an early flight or get in late from a flight as it nearly abutts the airport.  You do, then, get the sounds of an airport.  The location is also great if you are attending events at the Expo Center, as it is within walking distance.  I saw many walking into the Expo Center the next morning.

The breakfast was varied, including a hot breakfast item.  This was nice -- it was not fancy, but definitely gave me what I needed to get the day started.

Right by the airport! With that said, you don't notice the jet noise. Nice hotel with clean rooms. Typical Hampton quality and great staff. Not a ton within walking distance to eat but a short drive in any direction gives you lots of choices.

Miserable. The jet noise rattles the windows. It is not continuous so that you get used to it, it starts every morning at 3:30 am then every 30 secs. The hotel is nice enough but I wanted to sleep. I now remember why we moved downtown when manning the trade shows at the expo center.

Clean we'll run . Most expensive hotel I've ever stayed in for work over 200 a night crazy.
There is really no where to eat dinner. Fast food . Stayed  here for a week for a trade show it was awful had to drive 20 minutes to eat dinner every night.
Next time I will stay 20 minutes away in a suburb with some sports bars and variety of restaurants and nightlife.
What's the point of staying next to a trade show if there is no coffee and no restaurants.

One of our favorite hotels in the area! We visit Louisville once every February/March for a trade show inside the Expo Center, so we're very familiar with the airport area.

This location is newly remodeled (within the last year or two) and features a friendly & helpful staff. One of the shuttle drivers even drove us over to Kroger at 10:30p one night for medication. It was late and I know he was tired, but there were no complaints, only a sweet smile.

The breakfast selection is always wonderful and a great thing when you're running late to the show!
