We stayed here for two nights as we were passing through to Maryland. The hotel was in a very convenient location off Shelbyville Road, close to Mall St. Matthews and lots of restaurant options. The check-in process was quick and easy, and we were given a room on the 4th floor, so no one was walking around above us. The room was very spacious and consisted of a living area with couch, chairs, desk, and TV, a kitchen area with a small refrigerator, microwave, sink, and dishes, a bathroom, and a bedroom with two double beds and a TV. It was one of the largest rooms we've ever stayed in, and we had plenty of room to spread out. We were a few rooms down from the elevator, and you couldn't hear any noise in the bedroom. I would not recommend the rooms right next to the elevator and vending machines though; they seem like they would be excessively noisy. The pool was a nice temperature, and the jacuzzi was not so hot that our boys (ages 10 and 7) couldn't get in and relax as well. They also have a fitness room and a book lending library in the lobby, which I would have taken full advantage of if we were staying longer. The breakfast was decent, pretty much on par with any other continental breakfast. Overall, we'd recommend this hotel; it is a great place for families!
