Stayed here one night the day after memorial day so we expected they had time to prep rooms after a busy weekend.

The room was not taken care of.  The main light switch works a lamp in the corner, which was unplugged which meant no light on entry.  Then we discovered the toilet was semi-broken because it was running when we went inside, I had to pull the top off and juggle the floater so it would fill up.  Several items were falling out of their plug-ins, which is a huge risk.  The beds were clean.

The location was really close to the highway and next to a gas station.  It's also very close to the river, avoid it if there's a risk of floods.

Their parking is confusing at best.  There's no signs of worth for where to park.

The continental breakfast is about what I expected, cheap.

I stayed here for four days in February 2011 because it was the "official" hotel selected by the conference that I was attending. It's an atrocious dump. The carpets were worn, the electrical outlets were cracked, the formica was peeling off the bathroom counter, the room smelled like a soggy dishtowel...and the walls were so thin, I could hear *everything* going on in the next rooms. Lucky me, while I was trying to sleep on the first night, I got to hear the explosive gastrointestinal troubles of the occupant of one room and the sexual activity of the couple in the other. The only thing this hell-pit has going for it is the location, close to just about everything. In retrospect, I should have checked out after the first night and found a different place to stay. What was I thinking?!

While this was priced very nicely, ($70 for a Friday night on short notice) the old adage is true - you get what you pay for.  This was a very dated hotel, which is fine, but it was also fairly dirty.  There were stains on the wall that looked like someone had thrown food at it that had never been cleaned up.  Our friends had a non-smoking room that smelled like an ashtray.  Overall, a little on the dirty side.  On the plus side, the staff was very friendly, parking was free and it was in a good location right by the highway.  With a little work this could be a nice hotel and may have been at one time.  It seems like iit wouldn't take that much effort to make it decent again.  Hopefully, the management puts the effort into it to do just that.

My husband and I stayed here Friday night and it was pretty good for the money.  The only problem we had was that we were given a smoking room but that wasn't the fault of the hotel, it was the fault of the booking agent who put us in for a smoking and handicap accessible room.  I felt like the location was pretty good and I am sure I would have had a great nights rest had the room not have smelled like smoke.

The staff accommodated us as good as they could by coming in and spraying airfreshner, there wasn't much more they could do because all of their non smoking rooms were booked.

The breakfast was a little better than what I expected for the price we paid for the room.  It included, coffee, juice, fruit, cereals, waffles, and assorted pastries.  They also had some of those Jimmy Dean heat up sausage and egg croissants.

The husband and I stayed here for 2 nights on a cross country trip.  We were on a corner unit by the pool/courtyard area.  It was a quiet location outside the city, which was nice.  There was ample parking and a cab from the downtown area was $10-15.

The room was pretty basic and there was ample grass for dog walking.  Yet again, a pet friendly hotel with a small fee.  The only complaint I had was the noise.  We stayed on a Saturday night where the was a wedding and the people in the courtyard were loud to all hours of the nights.  The windows and door seemed thin and you could hear pretty much anything that went by.

I imagine if you were on an outside room it wouldn't have been so bad, but the inside courtyard area seemed loud.

It's pretty nice place for the price and the break fast is good enough. Also its pretty near to the rice street and the four bridge. We enjoyed staying here and had a nice night. Its calm place and no need to worry about the noise and stuff. Me an my wife had stayed here for a night and there is no issues for us. Keep it up !!

I have stayed in all kinds of motels and hotels, and am not particular- but bad service is not okay. Very dirty conditions in our rooms. Construction equipment spread all across the sidewalk while other rooms were being renovated made it very difficult to even get to our rooms. One of the rooms had a lock that was very finicky and it took 5-10 minutes of jiggling the handle every time we needed to get into the room. No elevator to get to second floor meant our friend who walked with a walker couldn't stay with us. I would not stay here again.

This hotel has the worst staff I have encountered. Of particular note, the breakfast  staff was incredibly rude and disrespectful. Any amount of money you spend for a room here will be a waste, and you will certainly be disappointed.

Clean enough rooms and great pricing for what it is.  And what it is, is a very nicely priced hotel to stay at when traveling for work.  I wouldn't recommend for families. All the basic essentials that most people who travel are use too.  Free Wifi, free Breakfast, outdoor pool, etc.

First I don't like the security or feel of outside rooms.  No matter where you park you have a decent walk to and from your room.  Lighting in rooms wasn't very good. TV's in room don't offer easy hookup of add on devices the family might bring (DVD players, game consoles, etc.).   And one of the most annoying things that really ruined it was no outlets next to the bed of any kind!

Want to charge your phone while you sleep but keep it close so you can check it or grab it?  Sorry.  After a full day of work and want to lay down in bed with your laptop?  Sorry.  This is just unacceptable to me and my biggest complaint

The big savers though are the nice Mexican restaurant inside the front office as well as the Internet speed.  One of the nicest speeds I've had in a room. Was able to FaceTime family with no lag whatsoever or skips.  Not many hotels/motels are able to pull this off.
