Clean newly renovated, fast and friendly service. Down side was the roadside sign said $49 a night actual price $61 and $73 with tax. Bathroom small but clean. Wi-Fi free but poor reception.

Tidy two star hotel just a few miles from the airport.

There's a Waffle House out front and the staff is friendly.

No spa, no gym, no room service, no frills.

Clean convenient and cheap.  Sometimes that's all you need.  The room is on the small side, especially the bathroom but for the price it's great.  Recently renovated. Arrived late, around 10:30 pm but check in was quick.

It's all right. Basically what the first reviewer had said. Do not expect much. It's just a little hotel that does not have much. No spa, gym, or continental breakfast (huh)??

Just last week I went to a Microtel (as defined by the name Micro) and even they had continental breakfast for the price I had paid! ($57). . Everything else was just as you would see it. Neat and welcoming. Free wifi as well.

I was actually really impressed with this Red Roof Inn. The staff was very friendly and the room was pretty nice (hard wood floors is not something I have seen in a hotel room before). The other reviewers are correct that the inn does not have a gym or spa or continental breakfast, though. Regardless, I will be back.

We booked 2 nights here on a family trip in the area. Got a good deal on hotels.com and because the pictures looked nice. When we arrived, the regular reception was closed, there was only a tiny window opened for the night service, and they were definitely under-staffed - when we checked in at 9:30pm, there were a line of customers waiting for service (also late check-ins). The only guy behind the counter was friendly, but he definitely took his time during the check-in process.

The room was clean and although it didn't  look as beautiful as the pictures on the website, it is nicely updated. We settled in the night and was about to lay in bed around 11pm, someone opened our door!!!! The guy at the check-in counter gave some new guests a key to our room!! It was shocking and worrisome to say the least. Also - the wifi never worked for my iPhone, it keeps on dropping out - The big "Free Wifi" sign definitely did not live up to its promise.

We understand you get what you pay for, but you would at least expect to have basic safety and good wifi. On top of that, the 2 bath towels provided were tiny - I'm a petite woman and they were tiny even for me! Also, TV had very few channels and definitely did not have anything suitable for our little boy to watch at 9:30pm (they do have PBS and discovery channels- gotta give them that).

All and all, if we were ever looking for a place around Louisville again, we'll suck it up and pay more for a better place down the street.

Cheap, clean and convenient.  This price level always makes me a little uneasy, but I woke up the next morning still intact so no worries lol.  Property is clean as are the rooms.  Staff was nice as well.  Can't really argue if you need a cheap spot to stay!
