I've stayed in hotels all over the country, and some pretty awful ones at that, and yet this one takes the cake. Reservations were made two months in advance, and yet, upon arrival, the hotel was booked and the "room" they had available was smoking. The entire hotel reeks of orange fake air freshener, diesel, and cigar smoke.
Yes, they have a washer/dryer, but be prepared to run your laundry through the dryer three times. And since it's on a smoking floor- you'll be lucky if your clothes don't stink.

I could go on, but honestly, it comes down to this- if you don't care what a hotel looks or smells like- you'll probably not mind it here.

If you are offended by extremely bad lights, harsh smells, dirty floors, stained bathrooms, and air systems that squeal and smell like bad perfume, etc., stay somewhere else.

There are lots of food options nearby and a mall. And a Quality Inn next door.

Me and my buddies came in a night early and just wanted a relatively cheap hotel room we could crash in. We weren't expecting anything fancy, we didn't want anything fancy. We specifically reserved a non-smoking room but when we arrived, we were rudely greeted by "Latisha" (or something like that) and about as blunt, rude, disrespectful as a front desk lady can be, Latisha was just that. Sure enough she said we "was" stuck with smoking room and that was that.
Beyond the fact that this room smelled horrible, the room was simply awful. The comforters had reminiscences of food (crusted tomato sauce?) on it and the bathroom was wet and had dead crickets hanging out. It was the worst room I've EVER stayed in and literally a roach motel. Even the carpet was so matted and dirty that our feet was sticking to it.

SAFE YOURSELF THE $$$$$ AND GO ELSEWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!! I would have literally paid double to stay anywhere but here.

    I like the price here.

I've stayed here a lot.  I was a little despondant when I read the ratings for this place.  However, I guess either years of rude drunk gamblers or overworked hours... the staff here made me feel extremely unwelcome.

I'm a Hilton Diamond and Marriott Platinum member, but I've always liked this hotel.  Next time I will go across the street.

Had to move rooms three times because beds were dirty. Disgusting. Not made. All of them, even the ones that were made had huge black hairs in the sheets (lots of hairs, 10+) and on the pillows which also had brown stains.

Don't do it. They obviously never wash or change the bedding in this place. The people at the counter, including the manager, seemed not surprised one bit that all the rooms were dirty. Just another day at Microtel.
