Rose Manor's perfect Trip Advisor score is well-deserved. I stayed with my girlfriend for the 2010 Halloween weekend and went to Voodoo Festival. I normally try to find the cheapest bearable hotel when I take these trips, but I'm glad I paid a little more to stay at Rose Manor. It's cozy, welcoming, and Ruby and Peter are nice and knowledgeable hosts. If you're planning a trip to NOLA and want a quiet and comfortable reprieve from the city's more hectic indulgences, stay at Rose Manor. -Shanon

Rose Manor is a gem. Located near Lake Pontchartrain, the price is reasonable and the atmosphere very homey.  Peter and Ruby will make you feel like a special guest in this historic home. There are many restaurants close by, and the City Park is fairly nearby if you have a car. If you enjoy antiques, you will have plenty to look at. Most guests are repeaters because we all love the place

The Rose Manor was a great place to stay      We stayed there with family & friends for our wedding and Ruby couldn't have been anymore wonderful or gracious.  We had an excellent time!  Our family was in from England and fell in love.  We all will return!!  It's clean, quiet, quaint with charm, character and hospitality.

Spent two nights on a business trip. It's a beautifully maintained historic property and feels like another era in time, especially when it comes to maneuvering your luggage up and around endless levels of stairs from street to registration to elevators to palm court to meeting rooms, etc. I can picture the place in its glory days when there were legions of bellman and porters to handle the chore.

I am a student at the University of New Orleans, and this summer I am taking an intro to hotels, restaurant, and tourism course this summer.  One of the assignments is to interview a local hotel that we have wanted to go to.  I was also going to inquire about rates to use for my parents when they come to visit.  The lady on the phone started laughing at me halfway through my call, said no, and hung up on me.  This place looks totally adorable from the outside.  Oh well.

I stayed at the Millenium Biltmore for a long weekend, and we really enjoyed it. The common areas are breathtaking  the carved ceilings especially  and the location is great. The rooms are nothing terribly special, but they are clean and spacious. For thevery reasonable price, I think this hotel is a great choice.
