We made a reservation and were promised free parking. When we arrived we were advised that nobody gets free parking. I would have let it go but the daytime desk clerks were very rude and condescending about the issue. We were charged an additional $100 for a deposit for "Incidentals", we have yet to see a credit card refund. The other staff members were polite and seemed to care about the guests. The hotel is defiantly starting to show its age due to a overworked and limited support staff. The TV signal was weak and the picture was quite fuzzy at times. The amenities in the room were limited to an alarm clock, a non-functional wall safe, small ironing board and a plug-in iron. The hotel isn't a bad place to stay but I would defiantly suggest looking elsewhere before making a reservation. I've also made a review on Facebook and a couple other sights.

Stayed 3 nights and it was perfect for me. Just needed a quiet, safe, comfy, affordable place to sleep and that's exactly what I got - once I figured out how to turn off the noisy, chilly air conditioner (I prefer the ceiling fan). My small room was on the third floor and the desk clerk brought my suitcase up and down since there's no elevator. Continental breakfast was more than that, with fresh fruit, DIY waffle machine, and many kinds of breads including yummy biscuits. Excellent service, beautiful decor and surroundings. French Quarter starts across the street; I walked the entire district in a couple of hours. I only wish I had time to use the pool. I hiighly recommend it.

All the staff are very nice.  The parking out back is nice. Love the French Quarter type brick in the room.  Adequate continental breakfast, but wish there were apples and bananas as well as oranges and grapefruit.  The bath tub looked like it needed a deep clean the hot water is on the right.  What would keep me from coming back, since I go to bed at 10:00 p.m. Is the the drunks and lovers making noise till 1 a.m.  If you go to bed after reveling at the French Quarter till 3 a.m., it was pretty quiet in the morning.  There is a $100 refundable deposit and parking is $25 a day that is not mentioned on the internet, during the booking process.

We came in town for a wedding and booked this hotel for the weekend. It was a quaint hotel just blocks over from the French quarter. We were able to walk to dinner and the French market. Parking is $25 a night but we parked in the neighborhood behind the hotel for free. Free wi-Fi. Cute courtyard with a nice pool. Free breakfast but we ventured out to the garden district for a good breakfast at Slim Goodies. Very quiet and slept great. We would stay here again!
