We stayed at the Wyndham for our 29th Wedding Anniversary.  Really nice place, really well appointed rooms and very well renovated building.  Used to be an old factory, anyway, they did a fantastic job of restoring it.  The staff were all really nice and helpful and hte property was all nice.  Great area just a block away from Canal street a couple blocks from the casino, a few blocks from Bourbon street.  Great area to have a walking trip thru the city.  We would definately consider going here again if in the big easy.

Great Hotel, great location, and a very friendly staff. Beautiful rooms equipped with all you need, nice courtyard with dipping pool and free popcorn! The hotel is within walking distance to almost everything.

I had an issue with my booking upon arrival (booked through an outside party booking.com ). When I arrived my room had been cancelled. However, the staff took care of the problem in a timely manner and found a room (a very nice one) for my stay.

Would highly recommend to anyone travelling to New Orleans.

We stayed here for four nights the Monday before Xmas this year through Xmas. It was nice:spacious rooms, quiet, nice staff, and very close to the Quarter. We had previously bought a sampler Wyndham vacation package, so we expected to have to attend a sales pitch conference. It didn't last long, however. Car Valet charge was $26/day.Would stay again due to the nice staff, close locaton, and spacious room.

I stayed here during my 4 day trip to New Orleans and it was a fairly nice hotel located within 2 blocks of the French Quarter.  It used to be a historic printing press that has been converted to a timeshare resort that opened in July 2008.

The studio we stayed in was very big.  It had everything that you would find with a studio: fridge, microwave, dishwasher, etc.  The bed was one of the biggest and best beds I have ever slept on.  I wish I had a bed like this at home.  The staff was also very friendly and helpful.  Overall, it was a great place to stay since it was in a safe area.

What a beautiful place to stay.  Our room was wonderful.  The kitchen was very function, the location is great, the beds were very comfortable and the ambiance was spectacular.  Everyone was so helpful.  This is an historic building and has been restored and we were looking at the construction and the hotel manager suddenly appeared.  We didn't know he was the manager but he was listening to our discussion about the restoration and joined in.  This was typical of all the employees.  They were not over bearing but always appeared when we needed them.  Awesome customer service.  Great location too. This was a time share for us so there was no cost.

I would have given La Belle Maison five stars but I'm really picky when it comes to fitness centers. They really need to have someone redesign the gym who actually works out. They do have a few machines and free weights. Just adding a universal machine would of made a big difference. So if working out is not high on your list of activities in New Orleans by all means stay here.

The staff is extremely friendly and the facility is clean.  The location could not have been better. Just a few blocks from all the activities in the French Quarter as well as public transportation. This was a perfect place to stay during our week in New Orleans.

My parents stayed here in May for a week stay.  They had exchanged their timeshare week to come visit me in NOLA.  They had a 2 bedroom 2 bath suite, and it was large and very nice.  It was somewhat strange though that the suite had everything in the kitchen but a stove.  In addition, it seemed that there was enough room for a stove so it was strange that there was no stove.

The hotel does not have a pool, instead they have something called a dipping pool... my best description is that it is a very large hot tub but the water is temperate salt water.  Basically, you can sit in the water, enjoy a drink, and relax, but there is no swimming.  I don't think this is a good hotel if you're bringing kids with you.  Another downside to this hotel is that you are required to valet your car.  This means that any time you want to use your car you have to call down and wait 15 minutes.  We found this to be a hassle.

The best part about this hotel is the location.  The location gives you great accessibility to both the french quarter and the cbd/museums.  In addition, all of the hotel staff were pleasant and willing to help answer any questions.  They also try to make sure people have a good NOLA experience by having afternoon snoball day and a crawfish boil.  You know I took advantage of some free crawfish boil!  Even though there were a few downsides overall everyone had a great time.

DEFINITELY worth the money. We are Wyndham Property owners and this is a very nice location. A block off of Canal St. so it is relatively close to the River and the French Quarter. Very Nice!

Ok, WOW.
This place is fantastic! I stayed in room 208 for a week and it was just gorgeous. The room was HUGE and the full kitchen had just about everything you could think of from the coffee maker to the blender! Comfortable bed, beautifully decorated, and pretty quiet for a Bourbon Street area hotel.

Only thing I will warn travelers about is the fairly expensive parking ($26 per day) but honestly, that's a lot cheaper than parking it yourself in a lot 4 blocks away (and probably safer too).

Don't get sucked into the timeshare presentation!!

I really need to review this on two different topics:  the resort itself allong with the resort staff and then the Wyndham Vacation Resort sales staff.

The resort is great. Our room was a one bedroom presidential and it was perfect. Location is close to the Quarter and convenient to most attractions. There are grocery stores within walking distance (about 7 blocks) and once the valet has your car you probably won't need it until you check out.   Great restaurants are also within a few blocks.  The staff with the resort, such as concierge, housekeeping, front desk and valet are friendly, courteous and professional. I give all of the above 5 out of 5 stars.

The only drawback is the sales staff. I was paid a "fifteen minutes courtesy check" which turned into an hour and a half on day one, with a two and a half hour follow up the second day. The sales people insisted that they were simply trying to help us understand our ownership, but they took four hours out of the first two days of our vacation. I also received two calls, three texts and a note under my door on day three to make sure I didn't want to buy more points. I would also like to point out that their story changed no less than three times regarding my ownership needs. Thankfully, day four was Christmas so the sales staff took the day off.  I have been to several Wyndham resorts including multiple visits to this property and this sales staff consistently shows little or no respect for your time or the fact that you did not come here to buy more points.  My advice in dealing with the sales staff is to not answer your phone or at the most accept their "gift" of a coupon book and then get rid of them before they sit down.  I give the sales staff a 0 out of 5 stars.

Great location in French Quarter off a side street which was quiet and walking distance to  everything.  The staff were super friendly. The one bedroom suite was spacious and clean. Bon Ton Cafe is close by and recommend to try for some traditional NoLa cuisine. They also had some nice snacks and drinks in the pull in drive way when we checked in.

The WORSE service I have ever received! I wish to give this a negative negative star. Got here today and they send my family and I to another hotel more then a mile away and said that they are doing constructions but, I booked 2 months ago why didn't they email me. Then they expected me to pay for the taxi that took us to the other hotel WTH! Soooo upset right now!

I loved this hotel. My Brother-In-Law used his hotel points to score us this place. It's about three blocks from the French Quarter. And after reveling for a few hours you can count on coming back to a quiet room with comfortable beds and just the right amount of pillows.

It almost seemed like we were the only hotel guest since this place was so quiet. The room had a stove, fridge, microwave, etc. Did I mention that their was a separate living room area that had a fold out bed in the couch. The kids said it was alright. Or should I say "The Kids are Alright".   youtube.com/watch?v=M-jy…

We went back to this hotel after getting back from the cruise and stored our bags with the Bellman as we explored the city; I just hade to grease some palms.

I have to say that the Wyndham La Belle Maison was the best hotel I have stayed at in recent memory.

We stayed a week in the Wyndham La Belle Maison and left on a Friday.  On Saturday I realized I had left my small black jewelry bag in the small upper left drawer in the bathroom.  I went to the resort and spoke with the Rooms Manager, Keith Johnston.  He was unable to get into the room because someone was already checked in.  He had me fill out a lost and found report.  I was unable to find out when the guests would check out.  I called the head of housekeeping, Kristen Brown, almost every day.  When her voice mailbox was full I would call the rooms manager again.  I asked them to call me back after they checked the drawer.  On a  Thursday, Keith told me the guests would check out the next day.  I called Kristen and again asked for a call back after they checked the room.  I have never received a call back.  It has been over 2 weeks and I do not understand why they could not give me the courtesy of returning any of my calls.  My phone calls were always courteous.  The jewelry was not overly expensive.  It was all my favorite jewelry, mainly earrings, and irreplaceable.  I am still upset over the regard of the managers.  The drawer was long and deep and the bag was towards the back of the drawer.  So either the housekeepers stole it or it is still there.  It has been almost 3 weeks and still no call back.

We reserved two one bedroom units as we were two honeymoon couples who decided to share our honeymoon in New Orleans together.  From the moment we pulled into the very clean and decorated garage where we were greeted by the most friendly car attendant Lavelle who took care of our bags and car.  From there we checked in and were greeted by the lovely Elena who made sure we had our two rooms right across from one another with full kitchens on the 2nd floor where the coffee is.

The rooms are GORGEOUS!  They were so clean you would not have ever known another guest had stayed there.  The appliances were top notch (Cuisinart) and the knives Henkel.  For those middle of the night bathroom visits, there was an automatic light sensor that helped you along the way, so you did not wake up your bed partner.  I know this sounds trivial, but it is just one of the great things we both appreciated.

Everybody and I mean everybody was so helpful.  We only experienced the most friendly staff and each person was there to ask if we were happy.  I loved running into the Security Guard Kenneth as he always had a big smile for us and a great warmth.

Eddie, the resort manager - Thank you SO much for making our stay (and I speak for the four of us) so warm and welcoming.

On a side note.  Some people complained about not having an outside window.  We did not have an outside window.  Our room was on the 2nd floor atrium.  Our Living room faced the atrium.  Honestly, who cares?  The rooms were perfect.  The little pool while it is small was perfect and so was the hot tub.  We used the free laundry facilities and it was perfect.

We heard from previous reviewers that the Wyndham resort sales staff will hound you for a tour.  We asked upon check-in that they do not do this, as we were already timeshare owners and they did not.  We never heard from them.  Concierge was great!!!!

Location is ideal.  If you want a quiet place to come home to at the end of your long day/night in New Orleans, this is the place.  A few short blocks from all the hustle and bustle and the trolley a block away.

I have nothing but raves about this resort.  Thank you so very much and I hope to come visit you again.

Great looking hotel. Combines the beauty of old New Orleans with modern luxury. Love love Love this Time Share!  Nestled in an off street near Bourbon Street, we had our own little beautiful retreat . The suite combined old style and charm with modern conveniences. The master suite was cozy and the main living area had a lovely pullout couch  . Very comfortable fo 3 people.  We also  had a well stocked kitchenette to refridge our leftovers and treats.

Near the hotel you have 2 wonderful places to grab breakfast or lunch , The Ruby Slipper and Red Gravy both are extra good with great service .With ease you can walk to Jackson Square, French Quarter and Bourbon Street.

I highly recommend Le Belle Maison. The staff made us feel welcomed and cared for on every turn. From the valet, to the front desk to the maid everyone treated us with kindness.

Stayed here from 23-26 Dec 2014 and enjoyed the atmosphere and all the staff.  A beautiful place, sorry not too many pictures taken.  From the Valet to the Concierges we had the most helpful and pleasant experience.  Derrick and Alice the Concierges found themselves assisting me through the news of a death in my family.  They were very gracious and caring.  Thank you again for the shoulder.

Stayed here for a conference and was thoroughly impressed as the size and space for our party of 7.  We got a timeshare and were able to sleep comfortably in a two-bedroom sweet.  Our room had a king sized bed, one queen, and a pullout couch as well as a kitchenette (microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, and coffee maker) as well as a dining table to seat six.  It was complete with 3 TVs (one in each bed room).  The workout space is also decently stocked, complete with free weights up to 50 lbs, a couple treadmills and elliptical, random machines, as well as a spa pool and sauna.

My only downside is that because it is a timeshare, they do not clean your room on a daily basis like other hotels.  Because we stayed for a longer period of 6 days, it was a little bothersome, but nothing too extreme if you are a polite and clean traveler.

Great location. The valet staff are friendly and professional. We've been travelling to this location for years and the same men still work there in the valet service and remember our names. It's a few blocks to the quarter, Harrah's and canal street mall and the street cars. Fantastic location with well appointed classy rooms. The Ruby Slipper cafe on magazine street is delicious and my favorite breakfast spot of NOLA is right outside the door. Wyndham La Belle Maison is my favorite out of all of the Wyndham properties. 2nd would be Bonnet Creek at Disney.

The Wyndham La Belle Maison is great resort in the middle of the french quarter. It is walking distance from most of downtown New Orleans' main attractions. The facilities are excellent. My room was spacious and included a kitchenette. The room also had a small verandah with a lovely internal view of the shuttered windows and french architecture. The resort includes all the standard amenities that you would expect: a pool, hot tub, gym and business center. What sets the Wyndham apart is the service. The staff are friendly and helpful. I do not have the easiest name to remember but the gentleman who checked me in addressed me by name from the moment of my check-in and every time he saw me, up until the moment of my departure. This simple personal touch, in addition to the great facilities took my experience from good to great.

Very comfortable place to stay on the quiet side of Canal in the renovated Franklin Printing house. It is primarily a Wyndham time share, but they rent suites. There are primarily studios and 1 BR units. The brick atrium offers coffee on the second floor. The small indoor garage offers a patio with TV, lemonade and popcorn. There is a well equipped gym and a hot tub. Its companion resort Avenue Plaza at 2111 St. Charles has outdoor space with an outdoor pool, roof sun deck, and a first-class gym.

My family and I stayed in a couple of rooms at La Belle Maison over Christmas and overall we all had a great experience!  The two rooms we had were at the end of a hallway and were across from each other.  We were able to keep both doors open for much of the time without bothering anyone, making floating back and forth between rooms very easy.

One of the biggest draws for us was the hotel's great location.  It's a stone's throw to the French Quarter and it's right off the trolley line.  An easy walk to most of the CBD, Arts District, and Tremé.  The rooms were very spacious, and I can attest that the pullout couch I had was much better than you would think.  In fact, everyone else was saying how hard their bed was while my mattress was pretty darn good.

The only negative we really had was retrieving our car when we needed it.   They valet to a lot a few blocks away so you need to call ahead at least 15 minutes in order for them to walk over and get the car.  Both times we waited at least 45 minutes, and one time was well over an hour.  Granted the last time was around checkout so they were very busy, but others waited much less time and it became apparent that there wasn't really any system for getting the cars in the order people requested them.  Maybe offer an option to be able to go and pickup your own car?

I can't say enough about how nice and friendly everyone that worked at La Belle Maison was to me and my family.  Always greeting with a smile and a kind word.  If you're looking for a great spot to stay in NOLA for a few nights I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great location, spacious clean rooms, great decor, great service, and a  knowledgable staff. What more can you ask for?

CHARLIE! She was the lady who checked us in and was asking if she could help every time we walked in and out of the door. She and the other staff were very helpful, but she definitely stood out.

The free laundry, computer, and other facilities were a huge convenience.

-1 star only because our 2 beds were fairly rock solid, and both doors to the bathroom were broken, but the other parts of the room were very well maintained.

Great historic look to the place too.

A group of friends from out of town stayed here shortly after Mardi Gras. Until their visit, I had no idea that this hotel was even here. It's a great location, right off both the Canal and St. Charles street car lines plus very convenient to the Quarter. Bonus: one of my happy places, the Ruby Slipper, is practically next door.

The hotel itself is very well appointed. I was in and out numerous times over the course of their four-day visit and every staff member I encountered was extremely pleasant and helpful. They had a suite and it was on par with the suites I've stayed in at the W. Granted, the decor wasn't as sleek and modern, but it was just as roomy and comfortable (actually more roomy, plus has a kitchenette, which wins over modern decor in book.) I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice place to stay downtown.

What a fantastic experience we had over the last few days here in NOLA at the Wyndham belle maison.  Friendliest of service you could ever imagine, with greetings and smiles around every corner. Really clean, spacious suites, which are great in a city where space is at a premium. Perfect for me, my wife, her mom (on the fold out sofa).  So spacious, in fact, that we were able to host many visitors from NOLA (where we're originally from) to see our baby. We were also able to provide refreshments using the ample glassware, refrigerators, and microwave.

Parking: well, you're gonna pay about $25-$40 nightly to park safely in this city regardless, so might as well park in the belle maison hotel where you drive right into a town-feeling, nicely painted garage, and your car is quickly valeted away with a porter to take your bags. In and out privileges, couldn't be more convenient for the hotel, and only $26. Remember to call down for your car about 15 min before you need it, as they park offsite.

The hotel was very accommodating for our baby, and gave us a clean nice crib and bedding.  We couldn't have had a better experience.
