Stayed at this hotel when flying out on a vacation the next day from Logan airport. This place may claim it is the Logan Airport Holiday Inn, but it is not near the airport, in fact it is on the opposite side of the road that you want to be on to quickly get there and is right on a scary main strip of whatever area this is. The hotel is large and like any older Holiday Inn, is falling apart and has pretty poor service. The draw here is that you can pay for a night and also pay for parking to leave your car in their lot. It is not a bad situation and would work well if this place was at all nice. In the end it is just a place to lay your head and fly out the next day. If you are even thinking about this place as a spot to stay well you are in Boston, think again. It is far from the city, not in a good area and a dumpy place with a bad locals hangout lounge from the 70's. It is not worth the price or the effort on your part. Skip it.

This hotel was a great place to stay while we were in Boston.  The shuttle ran us to the T when we were set to go (at various times) and took us to the airport in plenty of time.  The staff was wonderful and one of the guys at the front desk even went so far as to offer my brother the hotel's compressor to add air to his tires.  The staff was helpful with directions and just about everything else.  The room was clean, beds were perfect and the room was quiet.  The hotel is pretty busy as they house a lot of airline personnel that some in at various hours.  This is a great place to stay, but I will agree with Jerry - the toiletries offered as not the best.

The location of this hotel is great, as it's very convenient to Logan, and there is a free shuttle that picks you up and drops you off. I also have to call this hotel out for being nicely decorated, even though I found the screen/sliding, Japanese-style door to the bathroom a little bit disconcerting. It makes for good decor, and a pleasant vibe, but I prefer my bathroom doors to be a little bit more solid, just for privacy's sake.

OK, now that I have praised this hotel for what it does right, I have to explain why I gave it two stars. The BEDS! They are uncomfortable! I really, really needed a good night's sleep when I got to this hotel, as I'd been up for about 36 hours at that point. However, their mattresses were so stiff and uncomfortable that I might as well have slept on the floor. Seriously, I would imagine that a piece of plywood with a thin foam covering might have been a more comfortable mattress than the one that I ended up with. I woke up constantly, and so did the friend I was traveling with. She also complained that her mattress was uncomfortable, so it seems to be a larger problem than just one bed.

Was very a clean and pretty nice hotel. The shuttle service to the airport was insanely fast and convenient. The price was high but so is every other hotel in the Boston area.

This is a great option for those flying out of Logan (totally disagree with Doug M).  It is close to the airport, I found it competitively priced and you can go for the park and ride package (where parking up to 10 days is free).  The rooms were nice (updated, comfortable, nice bathrooms, flat screen TV) and offered free internet (big bonus and not always provided).  The staff were helpful and friendly (also not to be expected when dealing with a big and busy hotel).  And getting to'from the airport is really easy with the 24-hr free shuttle (we didn't wait more than 15 minutes).  The only downfall (and reason for deducting a star) is that we found the food in the hotel restaurant to be disappointing to say the least.  So my piece of advice is to check out some of the great local restaurants.

So I got stuck here on the night before my flight out of Boston.  Not pleasant, bad location and  horrible "restaurant".  The place is nice and the shuttle service is very convenient and that's about all the nice things I can say about it.  The bed felt a bit stiff to me and the channel selections are very limited.
Do not eat at their restaurant, absolutely the most horrible service I have ever experienced.  I had just left from Franklin and was looking forward to better choices of food in the city.  This hotel is in the middle of a warehouse district and the closest thing is a Starbucks.  I thought to have food delivered but the Italian place I was looking forward to was closed so I went for their restaurant thinking it cannot be that bad.
I waited for a few minutes before anyone noticed me and lead me to a table.  I decided to order soup and pizza.  The clam chowder was pretty gross, it had probably been canned and sitting around for a while then reheated when I ordered. I could not get myself to eat all of it.  The pizza was probably worse.  It was just cheese and tomato but somehow that went all wrong.  The ingredients simply did not compliment each other and the crust was pretty hard.  I only had water to drink and I had to get the waitress' attention for a refill and my bill so I can get out of there already.

This place is only good as a sleep factory. No amenities, nothing nearby. Room was fine, but was put off by sex stains on the sheers.

I booked this hotel due to the price and the free shuttle to and from the airport. I needed a hotel near the airport so I could catch an early next day flight.

I arrived into the Boston Airport on a Friday night at 9pm. I went to the phones to call for the shuttle and they did not give me a time the shuttle was going to show up. Fortunately I stepped outside of the airport and saw the shuttle picking up come passengers. The night shuttle driver was friendly and courteous. I got to the hotel in less than 15 minutes.

I reached the front counter and attempted to small talk with the front desk clerk. The front desk clerk was unenthusiastic with her greeting and not friendly at all. I attempted to small talk with her but felt through her tone of voice she had more important things to do. She gave me room 420, might have been an omen.

I took the elevator up to room 420 and noticed the room had recently been remodeled and updated. I was mildly impressed. I had some perishable items from my trip that needed to be refrigerated. I opened the cabinet to the refrigerator and was surprised to see there was none.  Lucky I took the trash can and filled it with ice for my perishable food.

I was proceeded to put my suitcase near the window when I noticed a hole in the ceiling with an old water stain. It seems as though there was a water leak in the room and I located it. Lucky it the leak did not occur and the weather was only cold not rainy outside. It would have been nice if the hole was patched.

I was not happy, I went downstairs to the bar. I was hungry and needed a quick bite since I was going to be up at 4am for an early flight out.  I spoke to the bartender about a beer and some food. I asked her where to get a pizza delivered. She was very friendly and quite helpful. I asked her if I was able to take my glass of beer upstairs. She told me when I was ready she would pour it in the a plastic glass for me to bring upstairs. SHe also told me if I ordered a pizza from outside the hotel I would be able to eat it at the bar. I made my pizza order and went upstairs with my beer.

The only reason I gave the hotel two stars was due to the free shuttle and the bartender. They were both friendly, helpful, and cheerful. The room had a good update but a refrigerator would have been a plus and the I was lucky it was not raining. If it did the hole in the ceiling might have caused a small leak in the room. The front desk clerk was also a negative due to her unfriendliness.

Rooms are good but decor is earth tones. TV is flat panel and big.  Bath is good and it is updated.  Food was ok in restaurant and affordable but the bacon in the salad taste old.   I hear the jet noise from the airport but then it is muted.  One night here is ok but two hmmmmm I would not be for Two.   If you want to have Internet or talk on your cell it is very spotty.  No cell coverage in the restaurant. Wifi in the rooms is soooooo slow.....3 or 4 G is your friend...But wait...that's right...phone service is not good . Oh and that heating unit...OMGosh....sounds like a thrashing machine.

Nice hotel for business travelers.  It's convenient to the airport, and there's a free shuttle to take you to and fro.  Well-appointed rooms that have been updated (modern finishes, flat screen TV), and free internet.  The price was reasonable.

The common areas are really nice and comfortable, and the staff with whom I interacted were all very friendly and very nice.  They have papers, free coffee, and boarding pass printers downstairs, along with a few computers for guest use.

The only downside was the hotel restaurant.  Pretty mediocre food, as you'd expect.  Then again, who really wants to eat in a hotel restaurant unless it's truly upscale?  Not me, and I was reminded why.

Overall, would definitely stay again if I needed something close to the airport.

Frequent shuttle to the airport and subway is a plus.  Much cheaper than staying downtown.  However, the subway stops running at 12:30am so you will end up taking cabs anyways.  Boston isn't that big so it's not that big of a deal.  You can get pretty much anywhere from this hotel for twenty five dollars.

Hotel bar was depressing.  Bartender was really slow but nice.

still one of my favorite hotels when not staying downtown - shuttle takes you to the T for free and connects you to everything. staff is super fiendly and some have been there over 20 years yet still remember me when I come back. A lot of airline crew here and again very friendly and helpful. Great value and great service!

i would rate this place higher but nothing stood out to me. they have free wifi but it's very slow. the restaurant is overpriced - i looked at the menu but didn't get anything. diner like menu...but a burger is like $9. the free shuttle service is nice but it only runs to and from the airport so getting to other places is a bit difficult. you have to take public transportation from the airport. the hotel seems remodeled but they didn't do a great job remodeling everything...you can tell that many parts are old/worn. the shuttle drivers are very nice.

Resturant is good... Sat at bar had  some dinner. I was here about a year ago and the service was ok. I don't know if it the Bostaonian attitude  but, the bartender had no personality and was very short with her customers. She should not be in the position serving drinks nor food. She would be better at a Dunkin Donut chain instead if the Marriott Hotel Chain. Next time I will not have Lucille wait on me.  Tip her accordingly.

Nice hotel close to Logan Airport.  Recently renovated, the rooms and bathrooms are good sizes and the beds are very comfortable and the rooms are well-stocked with amenities.  Very friendly staff working the front desk.  Free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel works well.

Rooms are fine

Staff are kind

Location sucks, unless you're here on a layover and plan on styling in your room.

The Internet is so slow you'll wish you had dial up. If you have AT&T, don't plan on using your mobile device.

If you have no car, you are stuck at the hotel; there is nothing near by.  Wi-fi is pretty slow so getting work done was a challenge.  Needed a cab in the morning for work and it took the receptionist 30 minutes to get me a cab.  Hopefully the airport shuttle is quicker when I need to catch my flight.

Hotel itself was clean and well kept.  Paul Mitchell shampoo and conditioner were a nice touch.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel. It's not really that close to the airport and is located near a busy highway and vacant lot.  Need long shuttle ride to the metro.  Don't even think about walking outside the hotel property - yes, it's that bad.

Hotel is very cold with a vague swampy smell and has an overpriced bar and restaurant.  The front desk is well staffed and they do try hard.  Several customers actually complained about the temperature.

My overall assessment is that the hotel is a just spillover location for aircrew who probably have no choice.  I can't imagine any tourist to Boston that would stay there a second time.

This hotel offers all the comforts of a Marriott room, but really erodes the Marriott brand. Noisy A/C keeps the noise of the freeway down.

I did not have the best experience here. The shuttle service to pick me up arrived after 1.5 hours of the call and still missed me. I had to take a cab to reach the hotel from the airport which was very expensive. There is no breakfast in the morning, The front desk people, rooms are okay. I would definitely not come here again.

It was a pretty nice hotel and has a full service restaurant, which is a little unusual for a Courtyard.  The only problem is it's not open all the time and only open during "normal" meal hours.  I wanted to eat something about 1:30pm and they stopped serving lunch at 1:00.  There are a few restaurants a little ways away or you can have someone deliver food.  The rooms are nice, clean, and pretty up to date.  The place isn't exactly quiet, but I guess what do you expect from a hotel so close to the airport.  But, it's not only airplane noise.  I could hear the TV in the room next door and the toilets sound like a rocket blasting off when someone flushes them.  Being a Marriott Rewards member and that my company seems to like Courtyards, I'll probably be back.

For $300pn, this place is total rip off and I will never stay here again.

Crappy stiff bed, dark room (not nice darkness, cheap old grand-ma house darkness), no food service what-so-ever (resturant closed for good), tiny kiosk with outdated products, pool is unders construction during summer, poor view of highway or vacant construction lot, poor & unmotivated customer service, poor wifi connection, poor maintenance (hot water caused the shower pipe to burst in my room), and rousy tv channels.

If this is airport MOTEL ghetto, sure, I'd spend $20 and call it a night, but this is Marriott Courtyard, come on!

Funniest story was I sent one of my customer a few months back here, and he never talked to me again. Secretary told me he's very upset with my hotel choice. Now I see why.

Stay away from this place unless someone is paying you money.

This place is aiite. The rooms have been updated, which is a huge plus. Housekeeping staff is awesome and so very friendly. They sure do keep the rooms clean.

Things to note:

-A/C unit is loud even when it's on low. So for light sleepers, don't stay here or bring your ear plugs.
-Plumbing is a little off. Took a 10 minute shower and my hot shower slowly turned lukewarm, even as I tried to make the water hotter. The faucet, on the other hand, never really had any cool water coming out of it, even when it was turned to the coldest.
-Toilets don't flush that well... *wink*
-No in-room dining! Restaurant downstairs closes at 10pm. So if you come in late, then too bad. You're going to starve. If you're not picky, then do they have a little shop downstairs with microwavable foods.
-Television selection here sucks. It's mostly news channels, ESPN, TBS, and TNT. Oh, VH1 and MTV. No Bravo or E! (What's a girl to do without her reality shows?!)
-Breakfast buffet sucks and $14.99 is highway robbery.

-Love the coffee service they offer in the lobby.
-Love that you can check in and print your boarding pass on one of their computers downstairs.
-Love they even have a scale downstairs to weigh your luggage.
-Love how close this hotel is to the airport.
-Love the shuttle service.
-Love the friendly housekeeping staff here.
-Love that check-in was a breeze!
-Love free wi-fi!

I love this hotel. The room was clean. The pool and hot tub were perfect and clean. The courtyard was so nice. It's close to the city about 10 minutes from Quincy Market by car. And the price was just right, for being so close to the city and the airport. It also offers airport shuttles. The wait staff in the lounge was great. Giving guests taxi info that won't overcharge you. And making sure we were having nice time at the bar at night. I will definitely use this hotel again. This hotel also offers discounts to airline employees with layovers in Boston.

First -
The staff is very friendly and caters to your needs.

The lounge/bar is awesome, however the  wait staff does have to pay a bit more attention to new patrons when they arrive and not just to large parties. I waited about 10-15+ minutes for a drink and that was after 2 other patrons (large party) were seated and ordered.

Two drinks were pricey for me  & I still left a great tip.

Well, it's got a cool lobby...

The elevators are a bit rattletrap, and need an air freshener. The AC in the room is rather loud. It's located on a dicey stretch of road with absolutely nothing within walking distance. It's very expensive for a Courtyard. The in-room TV is a (small) widescreen flat-panel, yes, but the cable channels are all standard-def only.

On the plus side, the room was clean and internet access was "free," which kept it from being a total disaster.

Came here a day before my flight since Maine was going to get a massive snow storm.

Great decision. Front desk is courteous and quick, restaurant staff are a bunch of older ladies who are sweethearts.

Shuttle is timely and gets you to the airport in less than 10 minutes, with 15 minute rotations. $25 into downtown boston via cab.

Rooms are very nice. Well appointed. Internet is extremely slow, air conditioning / heat is extremely loud. Tv is not HD with a limited channel selection.

Nice room, nice price, does the trick for quick airport trips. Would not recommend this location if you're visting for vacation.

Normally do not stay next to an airport, but this Courtyard made it pleasant. 24-hour free shuttle to the airport, which is very close. Friendly staff, nice rooms, pool and hot tub. Shuttle will take you to the subway or nearby restaurants. I tried the in-house restaurant and found it to be good (seafood arrabiata, a spicy pasta dish with shrimp and haddock.) Rooms are small but nicely appointed. Happy to stay here on business.

Slowest check-in process I have had in my entire life!  And it wasn't just the front desk person helping me, the people standing next to me had a really slow and difficult time.  The clerk asked me the same questions several times and then forgot my answers.  I truly cannot remember when it's taken so long to check in.

While I was standing at the front desk, a man came in looking for a cellphone that he had lost and was supposed to have been returned to the front desk.  He clerk told him they didn't have it.  Then after the man left, one of the people in the back office came out with a lost cellphone and asked why the desk clerk didn't ask if that was the one that the man lost.  The clerk replied, "Well, the man said it was supposed to be at the front desk, but the  one you have was in the back, so I didn't think it could be the same phone!"  STUPID!  At least ask the guy if it's his phone.

Concerning Barnaby's Pub (restaurant) - SKIP IT unless you just want to drink. The food was just a step above McDonalds in quality.

I should also note that the shuttle bus driver intentionally came within inches of hitting me when I was unloading my car in front of the hotel.  Apparently he didn't like it that I was unloading there.  He kept coming right at me as I pulled a large bag out of his path.  He wouldn't stop.  I barely was able to escape in front of my car. I have an injury that makes it hard for me to move quickly.  What a jerk that guy was.

We have a sliding door on the bathroom so there really is very little sense of privacy (the door doesn't close all that well). The door actually slides open on its own sometimes because it is on an angle. Also, the toilet is very noisy when it flushes and it doesn't do a good job.

The maid woke us up this morning checking to see if the room was empty.  Don't they know who has checked out and who hasn't?

Nice hotel and very clean. Your best option if you are staying close to the airport.
This hotel used to be the Holiday Inn, but is now the Courtyard Boston Logan.
The lobby is now  larger and more updated, but it's nice and warm, with convenient airline ticket printing stations and a fabulous complimentary java and tea counter.
The restaurant is pretty ordinary, so I usually just skip the breakfast and get something hot at the airport.
I love that they have complimentary WI-FI here and I think all hotels should have free internet.
You can hear a little bit of outside noise though, but overall a nice place to stay.

I have stayed here numerous times, Holiday Inn and Courtyard.  It's a much nicer hotel now that its a Courtyard.  It's fairly quiet and I've never heard airport noise only slight highway noise.  If you don't have a car, you are somewhat trapped.  I have no idea where shopping or alternate food sources can be found.  The hotel restaurant/bar is nice, but they don't have many "healthy" options on their menu. You probably will only have one meal here as it's an airport hotel and your stay will probably be short.
I did not have a coffee maker in my room.  I don't know if that was an oversight, or standard, but they have a coffee stand in the lobby that is open from o'dark:30 to 11am.
Personally I think that the coffee bar should be offered all day.  I don't know what the Courtyard standard is, but some do offer all day coffee.

If you use the hotel shuttle to get to the hotel, be forewarned, the van fills up quickly.  You want to be first on!  And the schedule is rather vague.  The signs say every 15 to 20 minutes starting on the hour

We stayed at the Logan Airport Marriott Courtyard for the Park and Fly package on a wintry night where a nor'easter threatened to dump 4-12 inches of snow in the Boston area. The hotel was completely booked and getting a seat at their restaurant at dinner required an hour wait. Fortunately there were some nearby restaurants willing to deliver in terrible weather. The lobby is very nice but the rooms are cramped and down scale. The window heating/AC unit let in a very cold draft which caused the heat to cycle on and off frequently. The staff was courteous but inexperienced. No one answered the phone when I called down to the front desk. At $209/night an expensive stay for the quality.

Was leaving Boston after a conference and needed to be close to the airport for a early flight.  I had stayed at a Comfort Inn several times before but thought I would try another hotel near the airport.  I guessed right with this Courtyard!  It had just recently been remodeled and it was very nice.  The lobby was inviting with coffee and papers(WSJ, USA Today) available in the mornings.  I did not get to experience their breakfast due to my early flight, but have at other Courtyards which is okay at a moderate price.

I checked in and the desk clerk was very welcoming and we chatted about the cold weather and how I was looking to get back to warm Seattle.  She was very helpful in suggesting several place to grab a quick lunch.  They also server dinners and drinks if you do not have a car.  The rooms were very elegant with nice wood finishes and a large bathroom counter top.  The room had very nice business features with a comfortable desk chair and many power outlets along with many more around the room.  Lots of storage for clothes and places to store luggage and odds and ends.  The view I had from the 8th floor was beautiful at sunset looking at a bridge and the setting sun.  Their shuttle to the airport runs 24/7 and no need to call ahead for one.  The ride to the airport was like 5 mins so could not complain about that!
Lots of flight crews stay at this place so they  know the needs of travelers.
Overall, for a nice, relaxing place to decompress before heading out,  I would and will stay there again.

Comfortable hotel, friendly service. Bar staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The hotel is inundated with airline crews and they do their best to accommodate everyone. Would have liked to have had a little bit less expensive "healthy" options in the restaurant. Be aware there is literally nothing within walking distance of this hotel. No other restaurants. No convenience store or market. They say they will drive you within a few miles, but the van was always so busy we really didn't try. I'd stay here for personal travel - but only if it was a SHORT overnight before a flight. Otherwise I'd stay somewhere that was at least walking distance from the train.

I came here for a 2 day conference, I lived close by so I didn't have to stay in the rooms so I can comment on them. Overall the interior of the hotel seemed nice and was recently renovated. The hotel also seemed very clean.

The conference rooms were fine and comfortable considering they were 8 hours each for 2 days.

Now I know what Yelpers really care about, the food! My friends, there is no food within a half mile of this hotel, trust me, walk if you have to. The food here was extremely overpriced and was awful. The chicken in my friends Cobb Salad tasted like it was cooked a week ago. My haddock sandwich made a Mcfish from McD's seem gourmet. Worse yet they include gratuity on every single order even if you are dining alone.

This hotel is not ideal if you plan on going into Boston, no public transportation within walking distance or to the airport (although I'm sure they have a shuttle). I would only recommend this hotel if your flight was canceled and needed a cheap place to crash. Oh and on my way out the power went out in the hotel.

Luckily, I just stayed at another Courtyard a few days ago, so I have something to compare things to.

The location of this hotel is literally across the street from Logan airport, which makes for a quick in-and-out. Service is friendly and quick. I got in late last night and was checked in immediately and was in bed mins later.

Here comes the disappointing part...I asked for a few essentials, which I forgot to pack: toothpaste, toothbrush and razor. The toothbrush I was given was of the lowest quality. I think prisoners get better brushes. The razor was as expected, along with the toothpaste. I just had to make sure I shaved my legs carefully and slowly, so I didn't lose a leg.

As for the room, although I'm happy to report that Marriott Courtyard has rooms that are accommodating to the disabled, I am not and found my handicap room to be extremely inconvenient. There was no counter space near the sink and the few things I could fit on the sink kept sliding off. While blow drying my hair, I had nowhere to put the dryer or my brush. I really needed a second set of hands while getting ready in the morning. I think the staff should have either asked me if a handicap room was ok or given me a regular room. I also noticed that there was lotion or q-tips in the bathroom, which the other Courtyard had. Luckily, I brought my own on the q-tips, but am walking around ashy.

I guess you can't win them all. Maybe next time.

Comfortable stay near the airport. A free taxi from the airport and back.
The room is clean, the bar is normally priced.
The only problem is the high price. Not sure that 160 euro worth this. Very expensive.
The staff is nice.

I was at the courtyard marriott Boston Logan and it all started with a friendly face at the front desk. I got in very late and upon my arrival was a woman at the front desk named Deb. She greeted me with open arms. She also asked me if I wanted a wake up call? She showed me the way to the breakfast area and the time they open. Always a pleasure when it comes to checking in so very early in the morning.  Please let Deb know I appreciated the very kind hospitality.

Unfortunately we got in late and left early, throw in 5 hours of sleep and that makes my stay sadly too short to do any real exploring in this hotel. But, here's what I do know and love. Check in is quick and painless. We only parked overnight so we didn't need a pass. There's a small area next to the check in that sells food/whatever you forgot on your trip.

The lobby. Is beautiful. When you first walk in on the right, there's a very modern mirror set up on the wall above an adorable striped comfy bench. In front of you is a beautiful fireplace and (since it was December) a beautifully decorated wreath and Christmas tree. Beyond that is a spacious place to sit and above you dangles a humongous paper airplane.

There's a spot where you can get coffee/tea free of charge (self serve) any time of day, and next to that is a self serve station where you can print out your boarding pass. Additionally, a shuttle runs every 15 minutes to pick you up and take you to the airport. Way to kick it up a notch, Courtyard.

My room was spacious, modern and decorated well. There was a couch facing the TV and a king sized bed. It overlooked a snow covered outdoor area. The toiletries were a step above a typical hotel, I want to say it was Paul Mitchell. Whatever the case, the shampoo smelled heavenly and I was in love.

The next time I'm in Boston, this will be my spot!

Stayed at this place by accident...woohoo for trying to leave your Boston work trip in the middle of a February New England blizzard.  Anyway, it was much nicer than what I expected from an airport hotel.  Nice decor, nice amenities, etc.  Probably didnt hurt that I was staying on my bosses Marriott rewards account either, which took me to a top floor.
