I stayed at the DT on October 12, 2011.  My total bill for a one night stay including parking and various taxes was $306.42.  I am a Hilton Diamond member and stay at Hilton properties all over the world, and this particular DT was the dirtiest and most rundown property I have stayed at. The carpets, walls, switches, remote control, desk, and bathroom all showed visible signs of dirt and grime.  The hallways have exposed metal corner that are dirty and dented.  The hallway walls are dirty and scraped up.  The carpets are dirty and discolored.  I would expect these conditions at a Motel 6, or other similar sub-$100/night property but never at a DT Hilton property.

I would not recommend this facility to anyone, and would strongly urge those considering a stay here to look elsewhere.

The rooms, linens and beds were immaculate, and the gym, while a bit small, was very modern. The walls were a bit thin, so we could hear muffled talking, but it wasn't enough to keep us from sleeping. The staff was extremely helpful, lending me the use of a phone charger when mine stopped working. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

First of all. 200 Mt Vernon St is NOT in Boston. It's in DORCHESTERr. Which is NOT at ALL close to downtown Boston and the "convenient T station" they brag about on Priceline is NOT one that any vacationers should use. The JFK/UMass T station is one of the most dangerous ones in Boston and I would NEVER use it, let alone at night.

The room service was 'unavailable' the bar closed at midnight on at SATURDAY due to it being 'slow' and they were unable to provide us with even one lousy beer. The breakfast was gross, watery, eggs with their so-called 'Starbucks' coffee that tasted awful.

We did not feel safe using the parking lot they offered. They told us parking would cost $10 a night and charged us $12. Lastly, I was charged $13.46 for two 30 second phone calls I made to a local number.

The bed was soft and comfortable, and it was nice to watch cable. But the bathroom vent fan did not work and we had a view of their sketchy parking lot.

For $179 a night, I expected better everything.

I'm currently staying here for two nights. Last night we checked in an was offered a warm cooking. I loved that! The hotel is clean and everyone is very nice. My only small complaint is that I wish they had a Docking station for my IPhone.
