Would definitely stay again.  Nice hotel.  Great staff.  Don't like that they charge for coffee in AM AND nowhere to walk to get Bucks of DD.  Rooms were fantastic just make sure that you are not staying in the basement.  Really noisy and bad down there.

$109USD per night special  through Travelzoo... can't beat that! 20 minutes  to Prudential Center via  Bus 39 (24 hours?) or the  Green line streetcar (except weekends) and you are right in the middle of the hub for many tourist activities ( Shopping, trolley/ duck  tours, restaurants, etc.). Our  soft, fluffy double bed provided us the best sleep we've had in our trip. We were  so fortunate to have stayed in this one-month old hotel so everything was brand new from the carpets to the shower curtains. Microwave, fridge, coffee maker, there were many thoughtful features  for  wired travellers such as  table lamps and microwaves with additional double sockets.Cleaning service was impeccable! Front desk  and valet service (special mention to Jina and Jose) were so courteous and helpful that we were even provided a  printout of an alternative route to Logan airport. Valet parking was only $18/day compared to  $30 in other hotels. Too bad we didn't know about the free WiFi. Tsk. All I had to do was ask. We are so traumatized by the exhorbitant fees charged by the bigger hotels, so bravo Envision! No complimentary breakfast here but muffins , yogurt and juice choices are sold in a self-serve room at very affordable prices. Luscious green apples and fresh iced lemon water were always available at the lobby, a nice touch! We were allowed to leave our car at the parking lot after we checked out at 11 am which gave us another chance at  a worry-free and  unencumbered eleventh hour  tour and shopping... that is customer service! There is something be said about  staying in a hotel in the outskirts of a city as it provides you a different view of  how a city really breathes with its regular denizens. Would have loved to have  explored more of the area. Heard there was a nice walking path and a sculling river  at the park behind the hotel.   We love Boston !  We love Envision!

The hotel itself is great: comfortable, clean, nicely furnished and the staff are helpful and pleasant.  The problem is the location.  This isn't really Boston; it's Brookline and not a very nice neighborhood either.  Yes, it's on the T line so getting into the city isn't difficult and we were visiting Northeastern, which is relatively close, but I probably won't stay here again because it is too far from anything.  Plus, with very little in the way of restaurants nearby, they should offer free coffee and pastries in the morning to compensate.

This hotel is flat out fantastic. This was our  first time staying here and I really needed a place near the Harvard school of public health for the open house and apartment hunting. It was much less expensive than the larger hotels and was much more personal and easy to deal with. This was perfect considering it was out first time in Boston. Plus it was only a 7 minute walk over the Harvard medical area. The staff was AMAZING! One night the woman behind the desk even gave us her bus pass to use so we had a discount price when using the busses! Her and a baggage guy also helped give us specific directions to use the busses to get over to Cambridge campus. No one from a major hotel, or anyone for that matter has ever done something like that for me in my travels. The room was pretty large with a really nice bathroom and shower. Room service did a great job as well (even though we didnt really make a big mess). It is right on a lake as well which is nice and right by bus stops which is critical in this city. It's also in a safe neighborhood so we felt fine walking around late at night.  I always like to state at least one negative remark on my reviews to keep them helpful, but I just can't find any from our 3 night stay here!

We just left the Envision and I had to write my review before we even got on the road. This is my favorite hotel now! Charming, modern, up to date, spotlessly clean!  And the staff was wonderful too! Andre,Ryan, and everyone we saw was friendly and helpful. We changed out reservation when we got there to add a cot for our 16 yr old who unexpectedly came with us. We'll be staying here whenever we come to Boston!!

I stayed here for a conference at Harvard Medical's campus. This was the best option with a two room / bath suite for me and my coworker. Easily the best price for quality of two rooms. I couldn't match after searching for a week.

It was within walking distance of the conference and easy to get to from the airport via public transportation.

Clean and tidy with a new boutique look. The staff was responsive before and during my stay with recommendations and arranging transportation.

If I'm ever back in the area I will easily consider them.

I had no idea Boston hotels were comparable, in terms of nightly rates, to the hotels in Manhattan. They were incredibly expensive and it was almost the reason why my friends and I weren't going to take our spontaneous trip.

Glad I found Envision Hotel after a few google searches. Envision is a modern, clean boutique hotel that offers a great space at affordable rates. Our room had 2 double beds and it was a lot bigger than I expected. The bathroom was a comfortable size too. The hotel itself looks tiny from the front view but it's long length wise. The only downside is that it is located away from Downtown Boston but it's not too bad. The train is right across the street from the hotel and it's relatively easy to get into the city.

I would recommend this hotel to anybody looking to stay in Beantown.

What a fabulous hotel. We stayed here for our wedding and were so pleased with the beautiful, spacious rooms and convenience to public transportation (the green line stops steps from the hotel's front door). Free wifi is a nice bonus and valet parking isn't too pricey.

The staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating. They even recommended some great late-night delivery spots.

We'll definitely stay here again the next time we're in Boston. The price is perfect and the hotel is just what we were looking for! Thanks!

Hotel...modern, but not cold.  We had a king room and it had a microwave and fridge..nice surprise. The parking price of $18 is steep and we had to wait for the valet a few times.

Location...in a neighborhood called Jamaica Plain.  Awesome local Irish Pub Doyles.  Make sure to do your morning walk/jog in Olmsted Park.  Only drawback is it is about 2 miles from Fenway, but great public transportation.

What a nice place! I stayed here during a business trip and was pleasantly surprised.
What I liked:
-Wonderful customer service
-Spacious, clean rooms
-Decent location with T access
-Affordable (for Boston hotel standards)

What was fine:
-You have to pay $18 per night for parking. On the plus, it's valet and they do a great job.

What could be better:
-There's a lot of traffic from Huntington and River St.
-The door to our room stuck... and I mean STUCK. We had to literally body slam it to enter and pull with all our will to get out.

We stayed here on our very first trip to Boston and we thought it was very good. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was always friendly and helpful. We had a lake view room and the road noise could be a little much at times, but still not bad. Using the 'T' is fairly easy; this hotel is located at basically the end of the 'E' Green Line, so if you miss your stop it's not that big of a deal. Getting to Fenway Park was easy using the Green Line; we got off at the Museum of Fine Arts and cut through the park behind the museum and ended up on Yawkey Way. If we would have known how easy it was to use the 'T' I think we would have just used it to get to and from the airport.

Very conveniently located depending on where you need to get to. For me, I had to get to the VA Boston, which was literally 2 blocks away. This hotel is also very easy to get to from the airport via public transportation. No fuss!

Price was comparable/affordable to what I found at other places. Parking is steep so I didn't opt for it since public transport was so easy. Rooms were spacious and clean.

I don't know if this was a special night, but the night I checked in, they had a little dessert table by the front desk with various cupcakes, cookies and candy which I loaded up on! Nice little touch. And big smiles and no judgmental glances from the front desk staff when I took two large plates of cupcakes upstairs!

Cherise was simply the best, so accommodating and helpful. The place itself is very nice, way beyond the bare minimum, but not overly opulent/excessive.

This is really a nice step up from our usual stays at highway motels.   They are close to NE Baptist Hospital and provide special pricing for family or friends staying over while visiting.  My wife had a knee repalcement and I spent 3 delightful nights at Envision.  The room wasn't spacious but was very comfortable, clean, and provided everything I needed.   Microwave, refrigerator, keurig coffee maker, terry cloth bathrobes, flat screen cable TV, down pillows, etc.  The hotel has a work-out room,  and provides transporation to the hospital via a voucher system with a local can company.   On-site valet parking is an additional $20/day but gives you unlimited access to your car to come and go.   Very friendly staff and my room was very quiet for a city hotel.

The most friendly, accomodating and gracious hotel staff I have come across!  I can not say enough about this place.  Clean, accesible, super location, and great ammenities.

The valet had my car ready and waiting for me to go at 4:30 am, as requested. The Handicapped Accessible "Double Double" room had plenty of room for my manul wheelchair to get between beds (but would be tough for an electric).  The bathroom was accessible; and according to management, will be updated even further in the near future. Though I do not use one, a portable Hoyer lift could be used as, there is space between the bedframe and floor.  Close to Brookline Center, we had plenty of restaurant and shopping options.  I would HIGHLY recommend EnVision for those needing to stay in town for medical appointments/stays in the Longwood Medical Area.  Unfortunately,  I missed Tuesday night "Taste of Boston", but will definitely be back!
