Great hotel. Very clean, awesome amenities. My only complaint..there are 2 hot tubs, one indoor, one outdoor. Neither one is "hot." They are kept at the same temp as the pools. We visited during a slight cool front in July. Would have loved an actual hot tub to warm us after a dip in the pool. Other than that, pools were awesome. Great tiki bar with food and drinks. Free breakfast was really good. They have a waffle station, pre-made eggs and french toast sticks. Fruit, bagels, muffins, cereal, etc... Plenty of places to eat within walking distance..definitely would recommend. Def. kid friendly!

If you are looking for a clean, well located hotel with a friendly staff - this is a good choice.  The bay front rooms offer a very nice view.

I have stayed here five times. All have been great. Issue with my reservation and they were rude and did not attempt to accommodate us in anyway. The manager was rude and could careless if we were happy or not. Won't be back.  Oh n the error was in their behalf.

This hotel was clean and the person at the desk (a young man) was very friendly. The room was clean. Breakfast was fine.

I was dismayed to find out that the hotel was not ocean side. I know I booked an ocean front room but the hotel was on the bay side. HUGE difference. It was truly my error not researching the geography/location better. However, don't market a room as ocean front when it is on the bay. The view from the room was not great. It showed the marsh but there was a very shabby building on the right. The outdoor pool looked great but was closed.

The hotel is brand new - opened something like 2 months ago. They even had their pro photographer here yesterday to take pictures for the website & stuff. The staff is friendly, and if you stay a day past labor day this place clears out completely. They were down to 30% occupancy the day after labor day after being sold out. For us, that was great - good rate - $103/night. Almost like having a private pool. Very nice. The only drawback was that the service at the Tiki Bar was slow as the bartender was also the cook for the day.

The rooms are nice, and have spacious balconies. The bathrooms are also a good size, though they don't have a fan so they get really humid. The beds are comfortable, but the appliances (the air conditioning and the fridge at least) are very loud, and we had trouble working the A/C so the room was on the cold side.

The outdoor pool & back patio are great here. View of the bay, nice pool with lift thingies to lower any wheelchair-bound guests into either the pool or the jacuzzi, which I found pretty impressive. They also have those at the indoor pool, which looks equally nice, though I didn't try it out.  The outdoor pool is kept at 84 degrees Fahrenheit, making it feel lovely to get in & out of. very impressed by the outdoor area here.

There's a great free breakfast buffet and though there is no restaurant the light fare at the tiki bar is good, and there are several good restaurants within walking distance. Though be forewarned, many are closed or on limited menus after labor day.  We enjoyed the post-crowd quiet, but if you're looking for a hard party, come during the summer months.

Cleanest hotel in OC!! Great view of the Bay & a 2 minute walk across the street to the beach! Comfy beds, friendly staff - we will definitely be returning!

This hotel is the cream of the crop. I travel VERY often and I went on a little mini-trip with my husband's band. I have never been more satisfied with hotel staff EVER in all of my traveling life. From booking the reservations to check out, I literally didn't have to lift a finger. As miniscule as that may seem, I've had my share of difficulty with these processes.

The manager, (who's name I believe is Joe) was seriously the most courteous, kind and attentive person ever. He seemed as though he really loved his job.

The rooms are great; spacious, clean and euipped with the works (we stayed in suites). The staff is friendly, and anywhere there is easy access to Starbuck's is a definite winner to me!

I'm going back to Ocean City for my birthday this year, and this is where I'm making my reservations.

this is probably the nicest hampton inn i've ever stayed at. everything is new and clean and staffers are literally working around the clock to keep the lobby area spotless even while people walk dripping from the pool to their rooms.

we had a bayside view room and it was so gorgeous, quiet and relaxing to sit out on the patio and enjoy the view. honestly i prefer this to oceanfront because it's quieter and you don't have the view tainted by obese sunburnt loud people dotting the sand :D

the location was pretty awesome. just a short walk from the beach, free parking in the lot (and extra free parking at the convention center nearby) and not as crowded as the southern part of o.c. yet still close enough to take advantage of the boardwalk area with a short ride.

the free breakfast was about as good as you can get by way of free hotel breakfasts. and the pool had a tiki bar. my only complaints are that the pool was unexpectedly warm. and the bartender felt free to just take my change for a couple popsicles as his tip without asking or saying anything about it. that was slightly annoying, but not enough to raise a stink about it. just enough to note it in this review.

i was lucky to score my room for $100/night by booking it way in advance (in january) on expedia. i can only hope to be as lucky next summer.

I came here with the expectation of any other Hampton Inn but was still surprised by how nice it was. Everything was clean and new. I was very impressed by how well they kept all the sand off the floor and furniture. It is on the sound side with a fantastic view! The outdoor pool is gorgeous and has the outdoor bar there with it. The indoor pool also has whirlpool just like the outside but also includes a hot tub. Having showers inside and out by the pools was convenient since there were none by the beach to use. It may not be on the beach of the ocean side but it does offer a little more quiet (when cars aren't drag racing in front of the hotel). To get to the beach you have to cross the main highway but both sides of the street do stop at the same time at the light to give you plenty of time to cross. The walk is less than 10 minutes if you don't have to wait too long for traffic to stop. Couldn't get enough of that free breakfast or great gym either!

My review is based on just the room because we did not use any of the amenities. First we arrived and the room we reserved a month in advance wasn't available (king suite) so they gave us a double queen ( who measures these beds? The Munchkins from OZ?) bed was rock hard and the pillows too soft. After one night of fighting over covers we slept in different beds. Also they did not discount the room. They said all rooms in Bayside cost the same. However the website when I booked said otherwise. Room was clean and modern as was the decor throughout the hotel.

I am a big fan of Hampton Inn chain and i always look for the hotel whenever i go on vacation. Everything was perfect. The rooms at this location are starting to show their age a little but it was clean and the workers were polite and pleasant. Ample parking, and great front desk service. Keep it up Hampton Inn! You will get my money every time!!

I have stayed at this property since it opened and it has only gotten better and better. Beautiful clean rooms with a great view.  Great hot breakfast free WiFi and 2 pools.  Love the location close to everything and worth every penny.  Great staff everyone is always very friendly.

We were pleasantly surprised by how nice our stay was at this hotel.  The complimentary breakfast was outstanding and the staff was courteous.  They have  an indoor pool with hot tub.  The hotel is also an easy walk to Seacrets.  However we did find the sheets were stained...

This was the perfect hotel for our family of four. We had a king suite with a balcony that faced the bay. Every night we experienced a splendid sunset. The location was ideal because it was of walking distance to the beach, restaurants and recreational activities. We drove a few minutes to different excursions & the boardwalk but every trip was under 15 minutes. The service  was really good, the hotel was clean & the suite was a nice size. They missed the 5 stars because the indoor pool was too small and the breakfast was redundant. We definitely recommend this hotel to families. Just make sure you request the bayside view!

Pricey place but in line with what everyone was charging for not as nice accommodation.  Wonderful views of bay, was a pleasant stay.  Only criticism was not enough parking and if you are charging double and triple what Hampton's usually charge even though it's a resort area then you could upscale your food choices too.

    This place is fabulous.

Of course, we hit it up in the off season but the experience from reservation to check out couldn't be nicer and easier.

The room was great. Roomy. Nice bed. Nicer pillows. Plenty of amenities including a multiple outlet module with two USB ports.  Hotels get extra points with me if they have plenty of outlets that are accessible.

The Hampton Suites breakfast (part of the deal) was OK. Buffet style but a decent breakfast to get something in your stomach before heading out. Plenty of good coffee.

The staff was very friendly and helpful.  I really had a great experience here and would not hesitate to come back.

We travel to Ocean City every other week for business purposes. I really wanted to like this hotel, after all, it's a Hilton, their rates are great during the low season and it's one of the few, if not the only hotel, that includes breakfast for free. However, after numerous stays it has become quite evident that they do not replace the sheets when guests check out. For the last 4 or 5 stays, I have consistently found different kinds of human hairs on the beds closer to the balconies (we usually stay in the rooms with double queen beds, one person per room). Hotels claim that static is what makes the hairs stick to the sheets even after being cleaned, but I have stayed at numerous hotels repeatedly and this has never been an issue anywhere else. Maybe it's only during the low season when they're not as busy and are hoping guests won't notice (we started lodging there in the fall 2014). We keep giving them a chance but I've learned to sleep on the bed closer to the bathroom rather than the one closer to the balcony since I have yet to find hairs on those beds. I'm assuming most people prefer to sleep on the bed closer to the balcony, as do I, hence why those beds are "hairy". I have given the hotel plenty of passes but it has become a chronic fault of theirs. I have asked management to replace the sheets in several occasions to no avail. They are polite about it and seem to want to address the issue but I really don't think the maids care at all. They just make the beds without stripping them and have the guts to leave the "clean sheets for you" stickies. I really hope they investigate this as I am willing to give them another chance. But I will discourage my employer from choosing this hotel if it happens again. Please take note Hampton Inn management.

This was a really nice place to stay. My wife and I stayed here a few days and had a good time. The room was exceptionally clean, and quite roomy. The breakfast was good, they have an indoor pool, and a nice gym. It wasn't very busy, so it would have been nice if our room was on the bay side instead of the road side.  The price was extremely low, since we came about a week before it gets really busy.

Wow, what an amazing hotel! I was very impressed by this hotel. We went in the beginning of April and were surprised with how ridiculously low the rates where for such a stylish hotel. The breakfast was way more than your average waffles and apples at your average hotel breakfast. There were omelettes, cereals, juices, breakfast meats, and a waffle maker too of course! Very satisfied with the food! The hot tub was nice and not too crowded. The room was GORGEOUS! Very chic! The front desk staff were extremely welcoming and even upgraded us to a deaf-accessible room. The housekeeping staff certainly take their job seriously also, as everything was impeccably clean. I'd rather have a beautiful hotel and drive 2 minutes to the beach than have an expensive cockroach motel on the beach any day. Will DEFINITELY be visiting this Hampton location the next time we are in OC!
