I only stayed here for one night but would go back again and again if I could. I stayed on a monday night when it was off season and only paid 90 for an ocean front room with a two person jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. The room was so nice, the bed was huge and comfortable, the bathroom was amazing with a big two person tub and also included a stand up shower. There was a living room area with a pull out couch so up to 4 people could stay there. There was a small kitchen but had everything you might need. I think I took about 5 baths while I was there just because the jacuzzi tub was so nice. The view from the room was perfect, we were on the 6th floor, i think, and could see the beach both directions for a good while. They have an indoor pool, jacuzzi and spa but I didn't visit them while we were there but they looked nice. I would recommend this hotel for anyone and everyone. Off season is the best because it isn't too expensive.

Do not stay at this hotel - IT ENGAGES IN DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING and then tries to take your money. We made a reservation here and received confirmation, etc., staying we could change/cancel the reservation. When we had to do so well within the change policy deadline, the hotel informed us we could not change it.
The hotel employees had absolutely no interest in trying to help or accomodate us.
We will never use a Quality Inn again.

My husband and I spent 3 days and nights there in July. Getting off the elevator on the 5th floor I was a little skeptical. The hallway looked bad and I was afraid to open the door to our room. I was pleasantly surprised when entering though. The room was clean and nice, not the Hilton but nice. The view was great. I would stay there again.

This hotel was average. Put it this way, as a frequent traveler, I've stayed at A LOT worse. The pro's: Location, location, location! The hotel is a stones throw from the beach. It is on boardwalk and 16th street, which makes it highly accessible to OC nightlife. The cost was ideal- my hubby and I booked for a last minute beach night and payed minimal cost for an ocean view room with a kitchenette and a balcony. The property has 2 pools outside and one inside with jacuzzis. There was plenty of parking. The room was spacious and the bathroom was larger than anticipated. They provided shower caps, soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner x2. The cons- the building itself is old and outdated. The furniture and decor of the room was reminiscent of the 70s. The beds were extremely small and hard. There was some graffiti out on our balcony and you could see rust on some fixtures. All this being said, I would still stay again if I had to choose something within the same price point. We have certainly gotten less for the same price!!!! I would give 2 stars but the location and convenience bumped it up to 3.

This place was a huge disappointment. First of all, the room I thought we were getting is not what we got -- no king bed, no curtain separator (which was why I chose this hotel -- to create a separate space for our toddler to nap uninterrupted). They don't guarantee specific rooms, so I guess it's a crapshoot where you'll end up -- not cool. Anyway, while unpacking, my little guy discovered someone else's clothes (including men's underwear and socks) in the room. Gross! We went down to the desk and they changed our room, and even sent someone to re-clean and recheck the new room for us. And she found flip flops from the previous occupant (and missed the chunks of orange cracker my son found later -- ugh!) -- seriously, do they not actually clean the rooms? Anyway, the bathroom was very outdated, had mildew, a poorly functioning toilet, a leaky ceiling above the tub, and rusty sink area. I've travelled a decent amount and this is the first time I've felt compelled to wear my flip flops in the shower. The whole place seems outdated, but also dirty and rundown. I've seen other rooms while walking past as they're being cleaned and it looks like some have gotten some updates, some not. The lobby and common areas are also pretty bad. I can't stress enough how awful this place is. It's a crapshoot I wouldn't recommend.

Pools and hot tub were dirty all week. TV / cable signal was horrible. I had to purchase a network card because I could only receive (1) bar signal at best from the promised wireless network. They were very friendly but not accommodating to the issues mentioned. Our room was less than spotless when we arrived, including left behind under garments, YUK!!! thankfully I was prepared to clean a little. I smelled strong cigarette smoke the entire time and WE HATE!! cigarette smoke. Bathroom fixtures and plumbing were broken. $350.+ A NIGHT, BIG MISTAKE We'll stay next door at the Holiday Inn next time..

Floor lots of golf packages,200 guys down to play golf. I have stayed at other places religiously. Quality Inn is on the board walk, you get a sitting room, balcony Ocean Front, good maid service. Anthonys Carry out a block away as well as CVS.

*Off season DEALS to be found*
This is a review for the off season. Came up spontaneously March 15-17, St. Paddy's day weekend. We found a double room for $34 on Thursday night, and the nice desk clerk upgraded us to an oceanfront king bc they're slow! She gave us such a great view we had to stay another night, which at just about $100, was still a fine price for our room--and this VIEW. Room is fine, far better than the motel down the street that wanted the same amount. Clean, not too outdated, not chic but typical "mid range hotel" furnished. They give you more toiletries than some upscale hotels I've stayed at.
They have free wifi, coffee, and parking, things that can really add up on a vacation.
Clean, not too old, nothing fancy. All in all a pretty perfect room ON the boardwalk.

A bit dated but clean and comfortable for my wife and I with 3 kids ages 15, 10 & 8. Also 2 other large families met us here and no one had major complaints. Kitchenette was adequate but had to ask for dishwasher and kitchen sink soap. Location is excellent. Parking can get difficult here but that I'm sure is due to the prime location.

Stayed this past sunday thru Monday and once again I was very satisfied...check in was quick, our 3rd floor room was nice and clean ( well stocked ) and once again the view of the ocean was perfect, even though it was for one night.. Did not eat at the hotel, went to Denny's on 76th street ( that might be the wrong street), but there is a nice selection of eateries on the boardwalk that closes early on Sundays (10pm) I believe which is why me and my friend went to Denny's.. The hotel was quiet, there were still guest with kids playing outside in the swimming pool. Not noisy, just kids enjoying the last bit of summer vacation( can't blame them!!) hope to make it back one last time before the summer is officially over

It has been my family's pleasure to stay at this hotel very many times over the years. While we have not always found the hotel to be in the best shape or the most up-to-date, it certainly serves its purpose. We prefer to stay in the tower building, which is quite nice. (The main building has seen its better days.) We especially like the large outdoor pools and the private balconies. The exercise room and game room leave something to be desired but they are going to be redone over the winter months, along with the guest rooms on the first floor.
Do note that there are several room types to choose from when making reservations. Motel rooms are very basic. Northern View rooms face the adjacent Holiday Inn. Oceanfront rooms are efficiencies in the main building and have exterior corridors. Premium Oceanfront efficiencies are in the tower building and have interior corridors with the exception of the second floor. There are also the 5 bedroom and 2 bedroom Penthouse suites.

Bait and Switch.
Having been to OC before, I did not have lofty expectations of a plush hotel so I won't spend much time speaking on the broken equipment in the fitness room, outdated furniture and fixtures in the room and restaurant that seem stuck in the 70's. My concern and issues are with the front desk staff. (By the numbers):
1. I called before making a reservation to ask if fires were allowed on the beach. The front desk clerk assured me they were. When we arrived there was a sign directly in front of the rear entrance that read "No Fires". I guess I should have consulted the local fire marshall but figured the staff should be knowledgable enough to give accurate information.
2. I also asked the same clerk (on the same call) if there were kitchenettes (stove top, fridge, microwave, etc.) in the rooms. She, again, assured me there were. We arrived to find no stove top.
3. Upon arrival I asked for a room on the ocean side. The clerk looked at her computer, said, "ok" and handed me a key. Our room faced the hotel next door. We called down to change rooms and ask for the kitchenette we were told was there. Our request was met with resistance and we were told (in a less than welcoming tone) that we got the room we paid for and that if we wanted another we would have to pay $200/night more and that kitchenttes were also an extra cost.
4. The second day of our stay I went down to the lobby to ask for a couple of knives and forks. The clerk told me they didn't have any and instructed me to check the restaurant. There I was greeted by the hostess who said, with attitude, "you should have those in your room". When I told her I looked but could not find any she rolled her eyes and handed me 1 plastic package with a knife, fork and napkin trio.
5. On our last day I called down and asked for a late check out . . . (wait for it). The clerk was quick to tell me no and also reminded me that we needed to be out by 11am.
6. I get that we are at the beach and shouldn't be in the room watching t.v. but there was a time, Sunday morning, when we wanted to catch a glimpse of the French Open. The picture was so bad we couldn't follow the ball.
7. High speed Internet? Funny. We could barely find a connection and when we did it was so slow that it wasn't woth it. (maybe the real high speed Internet was any additional cost).
I am not recommending that anyone stay or not stay at the QI Boardwalk in OC but my experience would not compel me to return . . . ever.

Four-day stay less than pleasant. Upon swinging open the door we were hit with the smell of mildew. I chalked that up to the fact we are on the ocean. Housekeeping sprayed air freshener, but it never disappeared.
There was a cardboard placard on the bed touting QI's cleanliness. Upon turning it over, it appeared as if numerous cigarettes had been ground out on it and there was another substance that looked very much like phlegm smeared on it. That went into the trash.
Room looked clean, but that was very deceptive. While getting ready for dinner the first evening, I dropped something that rolled under the bed. Mistake one, never look under the bed if you want to keep your sanity. I found a pair of soiled boxer shorts and a woman's lacy thong wadded up under the bed. After dry heaving, I used a hanger to pull them out. They joined the placard in the trash.
Day two, after returning from the beach, the room had been cleaned, but there was a cigarette butt on the floor. Neither of us smoke and it was a non-smoking room.
Day three, housekeeping never showed up. Had to ask for towels. Finally had to go get them ourselves.
Other incidentals, exhaust fan in bathroom constantly dripped water; dirty tissue behind the TV our whole stay that I refused to touch; electrical outlets not working; TV, microwave and fridge plugged into a power cord; to use coffee maker something else had to be unplugged.
Staff and front desk personnel were very aloof and not very helpful. They seemed to find it upsetting when they were asked for any kind of help. Vending machines didn't work.
Needless to say, this is our first and last stay at this establishment.

Staying at the Quality Inn hotel in Ocean City till Tuesday. This hotel has a room with a really nice bathroom, a free breakfast buffet, a indoor/outdoor pool, Jacuzzi, and a fitness center right across from the lobby. Even though the parking garage is small, it does provides an easy access to our vehicle. We are enjoying our stay at this hotel. We got a balcony room overlooking the stunning view of the beach. The room is clean, spacious, and well equipped with a kitchen. The WiFi is very good. Bed is very comfortable. I will definitely come back to this hotel before the summer is over. Nice location

I am upping my star power with this one. Pre-check in is a joke. We got there at 1030am and check in isnt until 3. I witnessed 4 other families pre check in hours after I did and get a room before me. Parking is nuts. I honestly do not think that they have enough spots for their limit of 1 car per room rule. You have parking in the lot connected to the hotel and you also have parking across the street. If you try to get a cart for your luggage it will be impossible at the hours of 11am and 3pm as these are check in and out times and there are only about 5 of them available.
Besides the above the stay was great! Location is great! Clean pools, rooms, and lobby. Free fruit is available and free coffee. We will stay here again, just maybe not get there so early. But we made do by walking the board walk and swimming while waiting on our room to get ready.

This hotel on-duty manager Stacie Dodson provided us with sub-standard customer service. I asked to change our room #220 because it was on the second floor, closer to the out-side kids pool and the pool bar with its extremely loud music. Stacie approved a change to room 511 which is located exactly above the pool bar. My expectation was to move us to the adjoining building far away from the loud area. Excellent hotel managers listen carefully to their guests complaints and solve the root causes.
My family and I are very disturbed by this experience. Now we have to unhappily live for two days at Poor Quality Inn, instead of relaxing.
I'm disturbed that Quality Inn Boardwalk in Ocean City sells ocean front rooms with half if the view of the ocean is blocked by its own adjoint building. I took a video and several photos to show the truth about this hotel marketing deception. Also, they leave the outside pool fountains on all night with their annoying splashing sounds so you won't enjoy the ocean's waves. I'm sharing the video on other social media under the hotel name on 1601 Atlantic Ave, Ocean City.

I always like to go to Ocean City in the off season. I'm a beach lover, and I prefer goon when no one else is around. Even if it's cold. Plus you get killer rooms for crazy low prices in the off season. We got an oceanfront room with a full kitchen and two full sized beds for $87/night AFTER tax. This was in early November. Not a bad deal.
The lobby is beautiful. But that's about as far as the aesthetic goes. As for most hotels in Ocean City, the rooms and hallways are incredibly dated. Though, I'm not particularly picky. As long as the room is clean, which it was. The room was nice and spacious and well kept. Though, the sliding door to the balcony was super hard to move back and forth. Not a major issue, but irksome.
The bathroom was beautiful. It looked clean and remodeled....until you got to the bathtub. The shower/tub was absolutely grimy. The shower head was covered in some sort of tan colored grime. That's my major gripe about this place honestly.
The other issue I have is that the beds were actually full sized beds. My reservation said queen sized beds. I triple checked. Had I been traveling with more people, I would have complained. But it was just me and my boyfriend, so I let it go because it really wasn't that bad for one night and worth the stress for only one night. However this is definitely a major issue for a long term stay or more guests.
One additional note that has been mentioned before is the weird parking situation. The lot is a mess. Even in the off season it was stressful.

Just booked our 2015 vacation for The end of May! Can't wait to come back and have what I'm sure will be another awesome experience! The view alone is worth the entire price of the room, just be sure to book oceanfront, not partial view, and you will not be put off behind the second section of the hotel. That is one of the top complaints I have seen - but when you go to book it specifically says oceanfront or partial ocean view. You want the oceanfront! Can't wait for May!!
