Booked a last minute stay here for a holiday weekend.  We weren't expecting much and were pleasantly surprised.  Rooms are clean and modern, as are the bathrooms.  Beds are comfy, with really soft pillows and nice linens.  Towels are a bit thin, but that wasn't surprising given that it's not a fancy hotel.  Refrigerator in the room was great perk.  Had a decent view of the bay from our tiny balcony, which was perfect for hanging out our bathing suits at the end of the day and leaving the door open for a nice breeze.  Balconies on the 5th floor are smaller than the rest of the hotel.  The staff were all very friendly.  Free breakfast was included - it's not much - yogurt, pastries, fruit, cereal and you can make your own belgian waffles.  Location really is great, it's an easy walk to the beach and boardwalk.  Thats all the good stuff.. I do think the carpets could be cleaner - especially the hallway and elevator one.

My husband and I stayed for one night. I know that Ocean CIty hotels can get pretty nasty, so if you're comparing it to other OC hotels, it might not be so bad. When you're comparing it to other hotels in general? Not so much.

Pros:
- LOCATION. It's one block off of the boardwalk.
- BED was comfy enough and pillows were nice n billowy.
- BATHROOM was roomy, with granite counters and granite lined tub. The tub was a good size and the shower head shot out water at a good clip.

Cons:
- PARKING. There seemed to be ample enough parking, but spaces were TINY. I had to direct my husband in and out of a parking spot with a Suburu Forester, which is not a tiny car but whoa man there were some huge trucks in that lot that I'm not quite sure how they got in there.
- SMELL. I'm not sure if ALL of the floors smelled horrible or just the 5th floor. There was this pervasive stagnant/burnt smell that made the place REEK. It was definitely worse in the hallway, but also in the room, too. Once we kicked on the air conditioning in the room it dissipated a bit, but it's more like "you get used to it."

There were a lot of good things about this hotel, but the smell was enough of a con for me to say that I would never want to stay there again.

We had a nice weekend stay here back in July.  The greatest feature is the location.  It was fairly roomy, very clean and the staff was friendly.  My only complaints would be the size of the parking spaces (forget it with a full-size truck) and the vending machines did not have water on all floors, a minor gripe, but a hassle when you really need some water late at night and don't feel like going from floor-to-floor looking for it.
Overall, it was a fine place to stay and we would visit again.

My husband and I stayed here the first weekend in May.  We picked this hotel because it was less expensive than other hotels but still had good reviews.  It was such a great find.  Just one block from the Boardwalk, King bed, free wifi, free breakfast, refrigerator in the room, clean, very friendly front desk, free parking.  We couldn't have asked for more.

Just got back from a week in OC.  Stayed at the Sleep Inn.  Used Priceline and was unable to pick.  I am happy to have gotten this Hotel.  It is in a PERFECT location.  Not directly on the beach, but a block away.  It was very close to all the rides.  The only problem I had with this hotel was the parking as mentioned from other guests.  There are plenty of spots, but SO HARD to get in and out of them.  I drive a mini-van and that was an issue with these spots.  I can't see anyone having an easy time with parking (unless you drive a SMART car or motorcycle).  Rooms were very clean.  Big enough. Bathroom was a nice size.  All in all, this hotel was perfect for us.  If we ever visit OC again, we'll definitely go back to Sleep Inn.

We stayed here for 3 nights. 5 of us in one hotel room. We're talking partying, drinking, everything. A very chill place. Free breakfast in the morning. Great maids. The one is incredibly gorgeous. Free Wi-Fi. The bathroom was top notch.

Location was incredible. One block away from the boardwalk. The front desk was also very helpful. They had band-aids on stock for injuries.

Matter of fact, the front desk was so awesome, they received a complaint for our room, and didn't even bother to tell us about it until the we checked out. Very laid back place.

Beds were comfy. 4/5 would visit again.

This was not my first choice hotel for Ocean City, but my other preferences were booked up on Columbus Day weekend. After reading the reviews on Yelp, I decided to take a chance with the Sleep Inn, and I'm so glad I did. The front desk staff was very welcoming and friendly. We got a great room on the 4th floor facing Baltimore Avenue. We requested this room location because of the car cruising scene (a special event) that was going on  Saturday night and our balcony gave us a front row seat to see all the action. During the day, we could see the blue ocean from our balcony. The hotel was immaculately clean.

I was prepared for strange smells in the hallways as some Yelpers mentioned, but there was nothing like this on our visit. Getting on the WiFi was super-easy and it worked great throughout our stay. We weren't really eat the breakfast, but it seemed nice enough and they offered it for free. The coffee was very good.

Our room was spacious enough for the 4 of us and it had a mini-fridge that came in handy. A microwave would have been nice too, but we didn't need it this trip. No HBO as advertised, but we really didn't miss it. The bed were comfy with nice linens, the bathroom was very clean and roomy with abundant towels and toiletries. There was extra coffee in the coffee service so we didn't have to call for extra, which we usually have to do when we stay at other places. Parking was a slight challenge on the first night, I had to park at the rear of the lot, but the second night we had our pick of spaces closer to the building. We were able to park our van with no problems. (They could use more handicapped spaces. Wheelchair users would not have been able to manage parking by themselves.)

We will be quite happy to stay at the Sleep Inn again. I'm adding it to my list preferred hotels in OC.

Was on vacation with a large group of my family on the boardwalk. The day we went to leave our own car wouldn't start and we were forced to stay a couple of days longer (not complaining). The Sleep Inn was right next to the garage our car was towed to so we went in and asked for a room, not willing to look around for one being very tired. The worker at the front desk was extremely generous and gave us a 10% discount because he felt bad for us. Room was clean and perfectly fine for a two night stay. They even let us stay well past checkout time because our car was not finished being worked on yet. They did throw the one comforter back on the bed after we folded it and threw it on the ground, which is pretty gross. Other than that it was great! 4.5/5!

Just stayed 2 nights at the Sleep Inn.  The front desk staff were very nice and helpful.  We had a room on the 5th floor (no smell in the hallway that someone mentioned previously) facing the bay and had a stunning view!  The room was clean and spacious and the bed was very comfy.  The location is fantastic.  One block from the boardwalk and not a far walk to the rides, Thrashers, etc.  Very close to a bike rental place (great way to see the whole boardwalk on a nice morning) and there was a bus stop right across the street from the hotel's front door.  The pool was small, but nice.  The breakfast was good enough for a free breakfast, but the room did get very crowded (which the front desk staff warned us would happen) so get there early!

My only complaint would be the parking.  We parked when we arrived and didn't need to move the car until it was time to leave, but it took my husband and another nice hotel guest directing me & my Honda Accord out of the space because a HUGE truck was parked behind me and the lane between the parking space is not adequate enough to allow for proper maneuvering.  If I had a car any larger than, I would not have been able to get out of the space and, honestly, I'm not sure how that truck got in or out.

I would definitely stay again, but i would be very careful about where/how I parked (not that that would necessarily help depending on who parked behind me).

I dont really recomend it.   The price is way to much.   The handle on the rear door on 422 is broken.  My 2 years old  kid got hurt.  Because the door     Like I sayd .do it under your own risk.  the Wifi  there is conection. But there is  not internet.   The water pressure. There is not water pressure the sink was horrible drain.     To be honest. I will never come back again.. if you have kids ,just think about it

Overall a good hotel!  For Ocean City, the hotel was new, affordable, and clean.  It came with free hot breakfast and the location was perfect.  The only con was the parking.  The spaces were very tight.  I'd definitely stay here again!

As per the recommendations of others I decided to give this place a shot during our labor Day weekend getaway from NYC. I know from traveling to beachy areas (Wildwood, Atlantic City, Seaside Heights) that there are many hotels/motels that claim to be 2 stars that are absolutely horrendous. A lot of hotels "on the beach" are plagued with mold, bugs and overall dirty and dingy rooms. The Sleep Inn was great. The check in process was very easy. The room was great. Very clean and well kept. Spacious bathroom. Climate control system was great. Refrigerator in the room. The bathroom was spotless and had a walk in shower, not a dirty tub. Flat screen TV was there with free HBO. The housekeeping was great and efficient. The staff overall was very friendly and helpful. We were always greeted with smiles. I even had a chance to sample the free breakfast (which I rarely do) and that was great. Waffle makers, bagels, muffins, cereal, eggs, sausages and a variety of morning beverages. The location is perfect..a block from the Boardwalk and beach with the world of activities to do. We had a toddler and were thankful that both the Jolly Roger and Trimper's Amusement parks were so close. There are also ice machines and vending machines on every floor and laundry on every floor, which is very helpful at $2 per load to wash and $2 per load to dry. The stay was great, the only issue, I had were that the WiFi was painfully slow (then again I can see how that would be if a lot of people were on, also, you're by the beach, why would you be indoors on a computer?!). The other issue was that the parking spaces, unless you can grab the few spacious ones closeby the building, are very tight. Even turning into them can be tough, and I drive a small Mitsubishi Outlander. God Bless you if you are trying to turn an Escalade into those spots. It is right off route 50 upon entering Ocean City. Also, if you go to the website, try to use your AAA discount to save a few bucks. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ocean City.

GREAT HOTEL! My sister and I came to OCMD for a birthday trip, and we were very pleased!

Room -  We were really thrilled with our hotel room. It was clean, neat, and had modern decor. The bed was SOOO comfortable. We kind of wanted to take the bed wtih us, lol.

Breakfast -  Their "continental breakfast"  wasn't your typical donuts and coffee breakfast.  They had hot omelets, sausage, yogurt, bagels, donuts, toast, muffins, hard boiled eggs, and my favorite.....make your own BELGIAN WAFFLES!  The Beglian waffle maker was awesome and the coffee was actually really great.

Staff - The hotel staff was really fantastic.  Don at the front desk was great, and both of the girls in charge of breakfast on Saturday and Sunday (6/21 and 6/22) were really sweet and did a great job of keeping up with the amount of people coming in and out.

For a room of this quality, the price wasn't bad at all. We definitely got a good deal.  They accept AAA discounts, which saved me about $45.  They do a really good job of giving tourists a nice, clean, welcoming place to stay. I will absolutely be staying here from now on. :)

We found this hotel last year by accident (one of those internet searches that has you clicking so many buttons you forget where you started)  We went during the car show weekend, you can sit on the front lawn of this hotel and watch the cars on the strip.  It is located one block from the boardwalk.  Carol at the front desk is so delightful and as helpful as anyone I have ever met.  The rooms are clean, neat and a modern décor. All rooms have a balcony. The beds are so comfortable, my daughter wanted to bring her pillow home!    Breakfast -  Their "continental breakfast"  wasn't your typical donuts and coffee breakfast.  They had eggs, sausage, yogurt, bagels, donuts, toast, muffins, hard boiled eggs, make your own BELGIAN WAFFLES! Coffee and juice bar is always open. This year was the first year that they had free hotdogs for lunch as well!  It was a huge hit!
This is the second year that we have stayed here.  We have been so very pleased each time!  So much, that we just made our reservations for June and we will make our reservations for next year as well

Me and my brother checking in on a Friday government holiday weekend. We had my item send two days before check in they was nice to have them on hold.

This place wast on my to find out list on Ocean City MD hotel check in. Also has a wonderful hotel balcony that is was cold to stand out. Room clean. On check in hotel was getting ready for 2015 summer. First night bed had a dip in modal. Next day replace box spring.

Great location downtown and block from the beach. Also to cooled. Next time I try wormer weather and price is right.

I'm not coming in summer. Rate to high and rather get a week in a Weekly condo rental. I come back if the price is right.
